Staff were very kind and helpful. Rooms were clean and spacious. Food was very good too. Just confused by the fact that they called it a hotel - it was a campsite with chalets. Very good quality & I would go there again in a minute but is was more like a motel to my mind.
clean ,good service, very good
The room was very clean and well cared for. The facilities were what we were looking for and the price was right. The staff were incredibly helpful and their assistance was invaluable. It was disappointing the pool was closed, but otherwise a pleasant stay.
the cabin was much bigger than we expected for 2 people, and it was very nice and clean, the staff was very friendly, the breakfast bufet was rich and the reception and restaurant area looked more like a hotel than a camp :) would definitely stay there again
Camp Ripan offers very good choice of arctic adventures. The Camp is outside of the main town but is still close to the center. This gives you both the feeling that you are close to the nature and the advantage to be in walking distance to the town. The internet connection in the cabins was very weak. When we complained about this they told us that this is because of the cold weather. This is probably correct but the weather is very cold during most of the winter.
My room was very spacious and comfortable. The staff was pleasant and very helpful.
big rooms. clean. we had an excellent dinner. rooms are a bit noisy. acoustic isolation could be improved.
There is a beautiful lobby and lounge area This is not a hotel, but a series of cabins, which you have to clean yourself before you leave. The windows in the cabins do not open, and it was stuffy, and smelled of mold. I would not recommend this hotel, its description is not accurate.
Room very comfortable, clean. Receptionists were very helping and polite.Breakfast had everything one could ask for! Wish we could go again there!
Easy to find when getting off the train (a non-Swedish speaker). Well located for walking about from a tourist's point of view as well as close to the centre of town. Staff were helpful - the non-English speaker got assistance for me. My breakfast was served 30 minutes early on request. A taxi was booked for my trip to the airport. I was also given advice about going to Camp Ripan to see a slide show of the Northern Lights. The room was cosy, comfortable. On booking in, I was concerned when the receptionist didn't speak English and couldn't understand my 2 sentences of Swedish. But she did make a phone call and that person answered my questions. So, no, I was happy.
Sauna, welcoming staff, wonderful breakfast, free internet access via hotel computer (no need to have own laptop) -
Good breakfast Cold to sleep in the bed near the window
Elegant and antique interior, relaxed atmosphere, and convenient location(nearby railway station).
Very nice personnel, good breakfast buffet, spacious rooms Close to major road
Surprisingly nice, homey place for the money. Good sized, decently appointed room. Very close to the train station. The hotel is a bit of a hike from the center of town, up a hill.
The hotel was very comfortable and warm. It is within easy walking distance to the train station and the centre of the town. Breakfast was good. It is a good location from which to visit the surrounding attractions and countryside such as the Ice Hotel and Abisko National Park.
The room and the facilities were really nice. The staff were extremely helpful throughout our stay. The buffet breakfast was nice as well. I would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Kiruna.
Beautiful Hotel with an impressive breakfast. It was a pitty that the restaurant was closed because I arrived on a sunday.
spacious rooms, excellent breakfast, interesting design inspired by lapponian habits satelite tv out of function
Staff were friendly and helpul. Rooms were tidy. Breakfast was great.
Room was comfortable and clean. Staff were also very polite and helpful. The showers are an experience in itself !!!! Would like to see coffee/tea making facilities provided in room or sitting area.
free salad bar from 6-8pm, free internet access in the room small room for this price
The breakfast is excellent!
The sauna was nice though it overlooked the parking lot. Very expensive ($180.00)for what it was- a barebones highway hotel. Our room overlooked the parking lot and the gas station.
The magnificent nature in hotel vicinities. The affable personnel, many information materials in a hotel hall.
a pleasant and cozy place
The meals were excellent, particularly dinner. The staff were friendly and laid back. The location was beautiful. There is very little sound proofing between the rooms and between the hallway and rooms. It was not very busy when we were there, but I imagine it can get quite loud when the hotel is full.
The location was great. Right next to the train station, close to the lake, a restaurant and the main road. They also offer a lot activities and were very helpful with suggestions of things to do around town. The hotel is very clean, especially the bathrooms and the facilities are great for relaxing and having a kitchen is very convenient.
Is located right beside the food co-op and a restaurant, northern bus line stops 50 metres outside of Guesthouse Walls were thin, bed was hard
The experience and location Sent an email requesting one room month before hand and that was ignored. When checking in got ignored at reception as there was a group coming in.
Comfortable bed, nice interiors, great activities, nice english breakfast and extensive lunch buffet. The warm room cabins esthetic less than expected.
