7.0 Good
Pros: The swimming pool, always nice after a hike in the forest with hot weather. Also the lobby is nice to chill there.
Cons: Noisy bed
7.9 Good
Pros: The pool is nice, very close to Park Entrance.
Cons: One receptions didn’t speak good enough English, but all staff were lovely. The hostel is a few minutes walk from the reception and there’s no food available. The beds were very squeaky too.
7.0 Good
Pros: The place was nice and just what we wanted, in nature. House keeping daily and fresh supplies of water and hot drinks topped up daily. The river side of Xcape is the best side to be for food and basic shopping.
Cons: The reception staff struggled with English and were not able to help me with a lot of my enquiries regarding travel, food, excursions etc.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Parking, location, accessibility, hospitality
Cons: Amenities in the room are not up to date. So are quite old. Layout in the room
7.9 Good
Pros: Really comfy hostel had the whole dorm room to myself. The pool is really relaxing!
Cons: The front desk couldn’t handle extensions or walk in bookings, the dorm rooms are located at the far end of th property across a field of grass. Not great location within the property
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Kind and helpful receptionists, amazing swimming pool, peaceful place. Great money value Definitely come again
Cons: Cleanliness of the bathroom can be improved
7.0 Good
Pros: Toilet so big n clean
Cons: smell like a animal death...
6.0 Good
Pros: The swimming pool is very welcoming after a sweaty day in the jungle. The staff is very friendly and understanding. One can easily walk to the village's central crossroads for cheap but very tasty food options.
Cons: It is not so much that the rooms are basic what bothered us, but that they are drastically overpriced. It seems to be common in this village to overprice everything except food. The facilities are old and not well maintained. The room had not been cleaned when we checked in (but the staff reacted quickly).
7.5 Good
Pros: The swiming pool was nice for children. The breakfast was ok.
Cons: Its dying resort. Everything is old and not in good condition. For 1 night it was ok.

8.3 Excellent

7.1 Good
Pros: Owner was very friendly and helpful. He was very genuine and kind.
Cons: Room could have been cleaner when we arrived but beds were clean and comfy. Place could do with a little fixing up but for the price I wouldn’t complain.
7.5 Good
Pros: Quiet and nice place with lichies (fruit) to eat.
4.2 Okay
Pros: there are a Pied Hornbill family live nearby
Cons: terrible simply wood wall and floor, full of spider webs
2.9 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Room does not match the pictures at all. Location is really bad. If you walk back to your cabin at night, you should really bring a flashlight. Bugs everywhere, and keep coming inside through an open space underneath the door. Sheets dirty. Pillows dirty. Asked for another room, got one, but same story. Owner really tried, but for us it didn't help. We looked for another place to stay, but because everything in the area was full, we had to stay. Won't book this ever again.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location (is not centered, but hotel provides transport for all activities), very beautiful vriver&jungle view, breakfast was rich comparing to other places in Malaysia, very clean room and surroundings, room was very spacious, tasty dinner included in price, Maria - the Dutch owner was very kind and helpful. There is a restaurant with rich local dishes. One of best places we slept in during our holiday. 100% recommended.
Cons: nothing to complain :)
9.6 Excellent
Pros: 4 km away from Kuala Tahan, which is an asset, not a burden, since the guest house will bring you everywhere. The guest house is ran by friendly dutch lady Marja and her malayan husband, who will help you with whatever question you have and whatever trip you plan. While the breakfast ist standard, dinner is an attraction. Best food we had on our trip, which included 'street food capital' Georgetown. Rooms are bright, clean and air-conditioned. Would come again.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We spend a fantastic time with our family (3 children). All the tours are located 7 min drive from the guesthouse. Good atmosphere and a nice view of the river.
Cons: Nothing
8.0 Excellent

Cons: No swimming pool

5.0 Okay
Cons: Room is small for triple.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely location overlooking the river. Maria and her husband were extremely helpful in advising us about trips during our stay and we booked a fantastic all day tour travelling by boat and trekking through the rain forest. The guides and drivers were very helpful and friendly and made our stay a very memorable one.
2.9 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing at all, just a rip-off and misleading!!! Rude and arrogant Dutch owner only interested in revenues!!! She would ask every guest to write a perfect review on arrival....????
Cons: Worst experience ever, would not even think of staying here ever again!!! Of all the places I've been, I've never met such a rude and arrogant owner!!! Paid for 2 nights, but left after the first night! I contacted and emailed the Dutch owner prior on arrival to be sure to arrange a jungle tour. She replied that she would arrange the tour I wanted, on arrival and prior booking is not required. But on arrival she told me that it was not possible to book a tour. Everything was full and I should have booked prior to arrival!?!?! But there was a catch!!!! She had her own day tour which she could arrange for 150 euro per person!!! So I told her that it was not fair the way I was informed, but it did not matter to her. So I just paid for the 2 nights and left after the first night, because there were no activities which would make my stay a bit pleasant. Another negative is the dinner!!!. She prepares a buffet dinner just enough in small portions for the amount of present guests, so if you go to the buffet 30 minutes after it is set, you just need to be lucky to get some or even enough food. In our case we could not even choose, because she does not add any other dish or even the same dishes!!! Want a drink? She literally said that I could go take a look on the wall where there is a list and choose a drink..... She simply would not bring me the menu......... If you are looking for a good resort in the rainforest just add a few extra euros and book the resorts just a few hours drive to the north!!! In case booking or the owner would do some research to my review, I do have all the emails I've sent to the guesthouse as prove!!!!
