Pros (+) The hotel has tons of charm, the staff was excellent and the short ride to the ski resort was awesome. Met people from all over , England, Netherlands, Brazil, other parts of Canada too. Very cool.
Cons (-) The hot tub seemed to only get to 39 degrees. Missed that extra degree or so of warmth. Still nice to sit in after a long day skiing.

Pros (+) The staff was incredibly helpful and the food is very good. The hot tub on the roof offers amazing views - not to be missed.. It's also great for unplugging. There is WiFi, though only one TV. It's the kind of thing you appreciate when you've unplugged for a few days. It offers good value for money. Imagine the Fairmont Chateau just a short 10 min walk away. Yes, much grander and directly on the l...
Cons (-) The old rooms need an update. The decor is often still from when the lodge was built, and so is some of the infrastructure (plumbing, heating), which seems to create the odd problem. The old rooms also have a dark feel to them. They are being kept very clean though and one tends to spend little time there anyway.
