The flight was 45 mins late leaving, we sat without a/c for some of this, 2nd Meal was a slice of pizza. Movies were good.
Outstanding even though the 330 was one of the oldest in the fleet. The difference was the attentiveness and responsiveness of a really experienced flight attendant. For airline food great variety of interesting choices and good tastes supported by a good wine selection.
I’m grateful for the KLM Air France shuttle bus service to Ottawa. However due to construction and other issues related to the chaotic Uber pickup system at YUL, it’s a challenge to find the Kelios bus service to Ottawa. The signs are not clear or even available. No staff to guide passengers. It’s a stressful experience.
Flight was on time, staff are friendly and helpful onboard.
The immigration hall in Amsterdam was understaffed, so passport checking was slower than it should be for a major airport. They need to get the automatic readers up and running for non EU passport holders. Waiting in line after a long flight feels a bit abusive.

I appreciate that KLM was proactive in informing me of the 2 hour delay which enabled me to replan my travel. It was a bit stressful not knowing whether my connection from Montreal to Ottawa was happening. But the ground and air crew did a good job at comforting and assuring me.
Good food. Excellent crew service. Clean aircraft. Narrow seats and isle.
It’s chaotic at the bus stop outside of the airport because of the Uber meeting point. You need to be alert and look for the KLM bus which is not branded or labeled. Incorrect information was provided to go to gate 28, when in fact the bus was at gate 27. On the plus side the bus left early and arrived early to Ottawa.
Great flight because I upgraded to Premium Comfort. Made a huge difference in the experience.
On one of the flights, the situation became sufficiently frustrating that a passenger openly expressed their dissatisfaction. Despite these complaints, we did not observe any meaningful improvement or receive an adequate explanation. The fact that members of our group experienced similar conditions on two separate aircraft is particularly concerning. We recognize that cabin temperatures may vary during a flight; however, the prolonged discomfort and the apparent lack of an effective response significantly affected our travel experience. Passengers reasonably expect a long-haul international flight to provide a tolerable cabin environment. When multiple passengers raise concerns about their comfort or well-being, those concerns should be acknowledged and addressed professionally.

My screen was broken so now movies, etc, but I didn’t really mind. They did work on it, so good effort on their part.
Arm rests are too small and too close. No screens, movie selection was very limited and poor. Food is pretty much overpriced cheap convenience store food.

Check in slow even though completed online check in, there was no bag drop available so had to query for 90mins as only 2 staff on desks.
Flying to a far away destination is a miracle in itself, so please take these with a grain of salt. The seats are a bit tired, and need a freshen up. The entertainment could be a bit newer, especially with all services available now. The food really is where we need help. But again, flying is a privilege, so all is good.
Never book through a third party. Book through Air transats website. Terrible process to get help and many issues happen with them and sister companies because half the flights you book with them aren’t even through air transat.
From what I saw there was no entertainment. Similar to my flight to London, I personally would like the attendants to be more interactive during the flight.
Airline Rep at Gatwick condescending and a very poor representative for this airline did request his name but he refused. Will certainty think twice to fly with this airline in future.
The gate personnel and flight attendants were all friendly and diligent. The poor attendants from London to Calgary were 2 colleagues short, as one of their team broke her leg on the way to work, and the other stayed with the invited colleague. I felt bad for the crew, but they did a great job regardless.
We purchased premium flex tickets for our overseas flight to London. I have food, allergies, so I knew I wouldn't be able to get a full meal. WestJet doesn't seem to provide any way for people like myself to register their allergies ahead of time. I was given one small package of crackers and cheese as my meal. I was told there were no more packages available and no other alternatives for food. The flight attendant seemed quite disinterested in providing service. That stands in stark contrast to other Westjet flights where the flight attendants have gone out of their way to provide service.
Don't fly westjet if you help it. Incredibly bad system/app, does not work. I have to fight westjet now for money back on goods I didn't receive and hotels because of delays. Extremely stressful flying westjet. For the cost of the plane tickets I felt utterly robbed. I also feel bad for the under paid staff at the westjet help desk who have to deal with so many ripped off and angry customers. Companies should not be allowed to operate like this! I don't know how they get away with it?
Delayed 2 days in London England - very poor communication from Westjet
Wish there was an option to book a fellow traveler who is not necessarily paying on the same booking. Then the airline could consider placing us together. It was a long flight to be separated from travel buddy. The first meal, a luncheon I think was ok with warmish pasta and a tiny salad. The second meal, a midnight snack (hard to say because of the time change) was really awful pizza fold-ups, and no option for folks who cannot eat cheese.
Westjet food has really gone downhill- bring snacks and food of your own as the meals are very tiny and heavy on potatoes bread and rice. Pasta with a side salad of potato salad or rice/quinoa salad doesn’t make nutritional sense. Overcooked green beans. Both Protein and veg/fruit deficient.
The silly breakfast snack and SMALL lunch foodservice was pathetic.

The plane was dirty and parts were broken. Really run down. My table kept falling down because the latch was broken. Flight attendants were just plain old mean. Don't waste your money going to Canada unless you absolutely have to. It's a hellhole.
Plane was late. Too many announcements during the flight. Made me pay that deposit. Uncomfortable seats.
My only issue was the cost of the flight. I paid close to $900, and I’ve never experienced that before. Plus I had to pay for wifi on the flight. Otherwise, everything else was fine.
This was the best Air Canada experience i've ever had! We didn't realize we could switch to an earlier flight and I asked the attendant as they were boarding the 8pm flight. She kindly let me know to make such requests prior to boarding in the future, but she was very understanding that we just came through security with young kids and was able to make the changes for us. When we got on the plane, the lady in the back was super friendly, welcoming, and kind. She was great with our kids and with the other passengers and we just enjoyed her presence so much!.
Bluetooth to use earphones with the onboard entertainment system failed. WiFi worked at least.
It was one and a half hour flight, however it was delayed for one hour, no bus running after getting off the C-Train,
Received an email a few hours before boarding that wifi and seatback entertainment would not be available. There was no explanation for this. We were served 1 x 20 gram granola bar as a snack (not even a full granola bar) which was really embarrassing. The crew was lovely (none of this was their fault) and the flight was successful, but the aircraft itself was falling apart on the inside. Overhead comfort control panels were worn and some were hanging out and non functional, This aircraft needs to be upgraded.

Horrible delays and confusion at all Air Canada counters. Flight was delayed well over 6 hours with little to no communication. Was o my offered a $15 food voucher and $200 Air Canada voucher—-neither of which did I need or have desire to use. Will never fly this airline again.
The food could be improved. The meat was OK and hot but the bread and cake was stale. There was however plenty to drink.
I was given a seat in economy plus on the way there and economy on the way back. That was wierd.
The longer flight on our leg back to the US was fine. Boarding was great, we had to stay on the runway for a bit after boarding… they kept it cool uncomfortable.
In my first flight with Air Canada we sat in the plane for 4:00pm to 6:30pm. Finally we were asked to get off the plane and we were told the flight was cancelled after 7:00pm There was o clear explanation of what was the problem. I was booked without my permission on a Delta Flight at 7:30pm that was leaving at 8:00pm and I still had to go get my luggage(my final destination was Rome with one stop in Toronto. The luggage claim for Canada was closed so had to return to finally get it on the luggage belt.. Of course I missed the Delta flight and all the next day flights were booked. I also lost what I paid for my stay in Rome because I did nt cancel in time. A complete nightmare.
The flight was delayed 7 hours and we were given 10 euros vouchers. This is ridiculous. The crew was not nice at all, they just did their job with serving food and drinks. Did not even apologize for the delay!!!!
Paid for exit row at the back of the plane. Window seat with lots of leg space. Food was inedible (as usual). Brought my own.
Missed flight. Requested assistance for my father and he did not receive it in Paris.

Tiny, cramped seats with minimum leg room and hard armrests. Basic needs like a seat and luggage came with an additional charge. Budget airline amenities with premium airlune cost. I won't use this airline again.
I'm Canaadian. I hate Air Canada. I used to give them a pass on their international service. No longer, They suck across the board now! Old planes, exhausted staff bad food and shitty entertainment. Your seats need reupholstered! Start with that...
