They offered a full refund Not a real hotel. Its for backpackers. No TV. No towels. Not lock on the inside of the door. And I still haven't received me refund...
Price Stinks dirty and weirdos walking around
The cost is the most affordable in the city. The western end of Fremont Avenue might be a tourist attraction but the eastern extension of Fremont Avenue is the ghetto. There are more derelict properties than viable businesses. Stay briefly and secure your belongings.
Pool, friendly staff, hot tub, beautiful women coming and going. Loved it. Quite a few homeless people in the area and a bit scary at night.
Staff is friendly as hell and they got DIY pancakes in the morning. There wasn't a ferris wheel on the roof? Not much fault to find unless you have a bad attitude haha
Nice receptionist. Services as described and as expected. Could be a little cleaner. But understood. Overall had a good time
If you'd like to talk and get to know some foreign tourists this is the place. Poor poor parking accommodations. If you parking in the back of the secured area, you may not get out when more cram in. (Though it should be noted that it's nice that there IS secured parking).
Meet and hangout with lots of young people
I really enjoyed my stay here. Rooms are cleaned daily and thoroughly. The staff is awesome, being able to keep my luggage there for extra time was a big plus. Will definitely stay here again.
Great socializing, with a staff calling people every night to join for a beer, chating, or to go out!! Regular breakfast...
Not really a whole lot. A group of people stayed up all night, being loud and obnoxious. Around 3 in the morning a man repeatedly knocked on the door. When I opened it a man was there, claiming he was staying in that room but lost his key. He seemed quite inebriated, but not in an alcohol or weed kind of way. spent the next 45 minutes looking for his key with the lights on. And hour after that him and another male walked in flipped on the lights and started talking like it was waking hours, but it was only 4:30 AM. Needless to say I got zero sleep here. Worst hostel experience I've ever had. PS It was 85 degrees in the room, with the a/c on.
I was able to recall my hippie roots in the 60s in a commune in Vancouver at Simon Fraser University and hitchhiking around in Europe. I even managed to get this senior disabled body up onto the top bunk! Very much fun.
