The resort fees they charge are rediculous, I have no idea what these are for
Location, Hotel Services and Activities. Smoke in the casino, decor beginning to be dated
My wife enjoyed the pool and suite while I was in meetings, dinner at Buddy V's, excellent Italian food and the service was fantastic. We also had dinner at the French Steak House on the patio over looking the strip, excellent food and service. Nothing
room itself the fridge was taken up completely by merchandise the hotel was selling. No room for things like insulin unless you wanted to pay extra for an additional fridge! Ridiculous!
The Mexican restaurant Javier's was amazing!!
Right on the Strip with connection to luxury mall and with the skyTram to both Momte Carlo and Bellagio Aria Cafe to be avoided, expensive, poor service having had all 3 meals there. Food of poor quality. Overall the hotel is ok but don't think it's value for money, resort fee is excessive as the pool is overcrowded and the gym closes at 8pm - seriously it's vegas and if I want to work out I shouldn't be constrained to timings - I was also welcomed by a rude gym attendant because I arrived late.
I like the hotel, with the room, casino, shops, and all the actives N/A
I cant say anything good about this hotel I am sorry, This is the third time in as many years I have stayed here. Each year it has degenerated incrementally. It took over 3 hours to book in, I was given a very bad room initially, but that was eventually rectified by a Good front desk manager. However the next room was only just "reasonable" so I offered to pay for an upgrade of 40 dollars a night and cut my loses.By this time 3 hours had passed. I then moved into a Celebrity Spa suite and the inside was very bad indeed. There was a cupboard door hanging off and the remnants of the last occupier was evident. I then complained to the manager but I was told there were no other rooms available. So I had paid extra to get a supposedly decent suite, but it is definitely the worst I have ever seen on the Las Vegas Strip. When I booked out, the receptionist asked me if I enjoyed my stay, and I told her about the shortcomings of a supposed 4 star hotel, but she surprisingly answered " well sir we are going to re-decorate all of the rooms next year".This was no use to me, I had just spent two of the worst days in the overpriced Spa room which was annoying to sat the least. I then walked 300 meters to the vdara 5 star hotel and paid exactly the same room rate as the mgm grand, for a further 7 nights, and the vdara upgraded me to a magnificent corner suite on the 40th floor at no extra charge. Please forget the mgm, you can get much better rooms for your money if you look around.I Can not give the mgm a lower rating....but this is my experience from 10-12 August 2011. Please consider the more upmarket and newer vdara hotel. You wont be disappointed.
I came for buisness, didn't use the facility at all and still needed to pay for resort fee
The location is good The air-conditioners were very noisy, The charge extra for the parking and also extra for a one bed room.
Comida del hotel está muy bien Como esta muy alto al Servicio al cuarto si puedes conseguir mejores precios afuera
Comfortable beds Was there for a wedding check in was fine until I got to my room found that the female registrant gave me a room that was already occupied. It had someone's luggage and personal items inside. I called the front desk and told them. They asked me to come back down so they can assign me another room. I don't know why I had to come back down. I was so tired from traveling and had do much luggage to haul around. They could've just looked up the room and brought up the keys instead. They had all my info so unprofessional.
I was very well welcomed and the room that I had was superb! The clean bathroom and what a space! The floor I had was quite and as I had requested on the higher level. In one word a great time I had. There are at some hours free shows! A great choice from Booking.com.
The price for a family of 4 was reasonable although not that great once the 'resort fee' was factored in. In truth you don't get that much for your money. The room is OK and there are fun activities for the kids but the pool (included) is not a lot to write home about whereas the adventure dome (pay extra) is good fun. The facilities are dated and amenities like in room fridge are not there. In the end, while the room was spacious you don't get anything more than a mid range motel. The back stair cases on the 'Manor Lodge' are pretty scuzzy and are not regularly cleaned even though they are the obvious point of access to one end of the building. I'll see what the Travelodge next door costs next time!
NY NY theme Lack of tea/coffee making facilities limited tv channels Lack of restaurants/cafes serving meals on crockery rather than plastic plates.
Got a room on a high floor and the location was perfect. Overall bad customer service. The shower was not working. Alarm clock was not working. Front desk manager didn't give a damn. Hotel was fully booked so obviously they wouldn't care ... The room was old and shabby ... no bottled water in the room, no hot water kettle, no tea/coffee in the room. Would not stay here again for sure. There are many 4 star hotels on the strip that over way better service and value for money.
The hotel was very nice with great staff. The location on the strip is great! Food was outstanding in all of the hotel eateries. Very easy access to all of Vegas either walking the strip, seeing the Bellagio fountain show across the road, or catching a taxi to see more of Vegas. Had prepaid for our room we thought and then was stuck with an unexpected resort fee upon arrival. Prices for everything from restaurants, drinks, to gift shop items are outrageous.
That I received a full refund and didn’t actually have to stay at the hotel for a night The decor, the staff, the check in process, the management.
The set up in our room +. THE SPECTACULAR View!!!!!! It was far to get to our room & I got confused sometimes
Rooms were high tech Lack of nonsmoking rooms almost sent me to the ER
The room was in the Palace tower was nee and huge. The befeas luxurious and the bathroom was top of the line. Everything is expensive, 2 toothbrushes and toothpaste was $25.
Shopping, food and location. For the money I spent, I could have stayed at a much nicer hotel with a view of something besides a rooftop and the backside of another Caesars tower. It was a very disappointing room. I'll go back to The Cosmopolitan or The Bellagio next time.
The hotel lobby is gorgeous. The rooms were nice and tidy. Overall, a good place to stay.
Location, casino, upscale The bed and pillows horribly uncomfortable for a 5 star propert
No solution and for check.out stand in the big queue. Not pleasant
Beds were comfortable, food was good at Buffett.decent size rooms. All day Buffett was a good option too. Pool area good if you all pools were open .staff were quite friendly. Didn't like the timeshare ticket people approaching us every time we walked through the casino. Would have preferred the larger pool to be open rather than one small family pool and adult pool as it got extremely busy. Jacuzzis were full of small children mostly unsupervised by their parents it was a like a creche in there .Would have liked to be told about the interconnecting doors before getting our room As it was a noisy week.
Spacious room - great rate. Courteous and helpful staff. Although others may feel differently, I liked the fact that there was no casino in the hotel. Charge for using business center. Bathroom maintenance req'd. Costly breakfast.
Nice rooms OK pool No activities at hotel, we needed to take taxi/shuttle everywhere Added $35/night resort fee for zero resort perks
