Pros: Very clean and nice accommodations for the price

Pros: The initial thought was it was too cheap to be clean and good! We were very wrong! Upon entering the office, the auditor was friendly, nice and very conversational! The lobby was a bit different than most but it was quite efficient! The overall look of the property looked like a scene from a desert motel you see in the movies which was very deceiving! The rooms were clean, updated and had a nice modern design to them! A single AC unit kept the room cool and and updated Shower with a very nice shower head went well with the white clean fluffy towels! The bed itself was new, clean and bug free (I did a through check as we have had BB and now have BBPTSD, (Bed Bug Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome) and we're very weary now of hotels and bed bugs)! The chair in the room was also very clean and comfy and a nice work desk and office chair! The TV was a modern LG LED and a mini fridge, coffee maker and supplies as well as a small microwave. I was very very impressed with this motel and will in fact look them up again when I return to Lawrence! They made it a nice transition from the Virginia Inn to the DoubleTree hotel down the street where I was going to be for the rest of my business stay for work. I didn't feel Traumatized or even like I was staying in anything less than a 5 star hotel. A very good experience for a very cheap price!
Cons: Just a tad damp from the AC.

Pros: Very clean comfortable bedding
Excellent10.0
Pros: The staff was friendly. Excellent parking. Room was clean. Bed was very comfortable. Liked the ramp instead of stairs to the second floor. Good value.
Good6.0
Pros: Clean room DirectTv was a nice addition Comfortable beds
Cons: Wireless internet service was inadequate. I could never connect to yahoo.com or cnn.com or do emails as I desired. Overpriced compared to similar newer options
Excellent10.0
Pros: Attentive staff; clean rooms though obviously older motel. New, comfy beds, giant TV with satellite in each room. Small breakfast: hard-boiled eggs, toast, bagels, cereal, oatmeal, pastries, apples and bananas, orange juice, milk, coffee, hot chocolate. Great price! Well-lit parking lot.
Excellent8.5
Pros: Clean rooms and beds - they even put me in a room with two beds for the price of one! Good location if youre working near the university.
Cons: Main issue was very spotty internet.
Okay5.7
Pros: staff were very helpful,
Cons: Bath-shower needs updating, lighting was poor and uneven, lamps have odd color-temperatures, in-wall a/c very noisy and inefficient.

Pros: The staff was extremely kind and accommodating! I was in town for an interview, and they gave me all the information I needed.
Good6.0
Pros: The staff were very nice, and the inn is located in a good spot.
Cons: The rooms had a musty smell and the halls had a smokey smell. The staff forgot to clean the room the last day we were there.
Good6.2
Pros: Convenient and the staff was nice. The rooms were what you would expect but the beds were comfortable.
Good7.1
Pros: The beds were comfy. Smoky smell in hallway but not in room. Some musty smells here and there and the decor is outdated. However for the price, it was fine. Very close to campus, easy to find. Pool didn't look too inviting. Very small. Staff was nice. Breakfast was average. But again for the cost, it was fine.

Cons: Condemn this motel and build a new one. Horrible unsafe conditions, filthy, smelly, dysfunctional. Facility and rooms. Bad employees on top of it.
Okay5.7
Pros: The heater and cooling worked, they got us checked in quickly. and the price was rely cheap.
Cons: One of the towels had a brown stain the room smelled as if it had been smoked in and the bed cover had a cigarette burn in it, the decaff coffee packet was already open, and the door leaked out side air badly. the room was freezing when i arrived no prep had been done so i had to start the heater and then wait for heat.
Mediocre2.0
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything! It was filthy and everything in the room was threadbare, cracked, rusted and smelt.
Mediocre2.0
Pros: There is absolutely nothing good I can say about this place and even less about its management
Cons: I didn't like anything, but especially the day time manager who was rude, cared less that somebody else was already in the room assigned to me. Then told me breakfast was closed, not that I would have eaten there anyway, when there was still time.
Okay4.8
Pros: Cheap
Cons: Big gap around front door. Bathroom very dim.
Good6.2
Pros: Hotel was very affordable and right on Iowa road. Easy to get to and close to KU
Cons: Bed wasn't soft at all, and the room was very tiny. But it was clean and warm.
Mediocre2.8
Pros: This is possibly the worst hotel I have stayed in for quite sometime. The room smelled, the beds were old and uncomfortable, the bathroom door was broken, there was hair in the bathtub, the electrical outlet was pulled out of the wall in the sink area, the chrome tissue cover in the wall was rusted and dirty, there was no WIFI
Cons: Leaving
Okay5.7
Pros: Seemed like nice people, perhaps family owned. Clearly worked hard to keep the facility up. Diligent cleaning staff. WiFi worked well.
Cons: It’s a time worn motel, the walls are thin and you can hear everyone above and adjacent to you. It was moderately comfortable. Not close to sufficiently available wall plugs.
Mediocre3.7
Pros: Location to the interstate and University.
Cons: Mildew/mold smell, bedding was old and gross, shower rod was broken, cable was static.
Good6.5
Pros: the staff was freindly and helpful
Cons: for the price it wasnt well kept. the lock on my door was falling off. the bathroom tub was leaking and it looked like an old motel 6 type of room.
Okay4.0
Pros: Staff was pleasant/helpful.
Cons: Outdated furniture, TV, and other amenities. Linens were threadbare and pillows were thin and small. Only positives were the water in the shower was hot and the towels were clean. Will not be back unless desperate,
Okay4.2
Pros: Old, run down, furniture upolstry ripped, dirty,
