Cons: The bathroom was not a separate room (although the toilet did have a sliding door on it) and there was just a curtain to separate it from the bedroom. Room had low beams which you had to watch out for. Breakfast a bit pricey for what it was.

Cons: Unfortunately our room was next to dining room which was extremely noisy and ruined our stay. The noise from dragging wooden chairs over hard flooring was unbearable. The lady at reception wasn't sympathetic at all and didn't do anything to reassure us about the issue... Avoid room 111, it is not worth it!

The room, on the small side, but well furnished with very large and comfortable bed, well equipped bathroom (shower only) and plenty of towels. Also in room fridge, tea/coffee, safe and bathrobes. Main hotel has no elevator and so we requested room on lower floor and were allocated one off the charming garden. Did not have time to take breakfast but would not be surprised if it proves to be excellent. After 18:00 hours free parking available outside hotel BUT only until 10:00 next morning....be warned traffic wardens are HOT!! All told this hotel makes every effort to provide for client comfort and is exceptional value. Highly recommend.

Cons: The coffee at breakfast was the only thing that didn't work for me. I think it might have been an accident of some kind. Still, everything else was so good at breakfast that it didn't really bother me. If I had been there on another day I am sure the coffee would have been up to normally excellent French standards.

Cons: Quite noisy - you hear the noise from inside the hotel (we could hear the other guests in their room), and from outside (we were room 1 and the noise from the cars on the street was loud). The bathroom door could not close completely. In the bathroom - no shampoo, no shower gel only one tiny soap.

Cons: Parking was not good was not imformed how bad it would be to try and park, We did eventually get a space in hotel ground with a charge was so small hard to get out of car On arrival there was works going on with noise on our landing We were not told this to priory booking We asked to be moved no spaces or rooms left Bedding was not great we found some dirty bits on our bed that we had to remove ourselves No tea or coffee facilities in our room which is normally standard The room was freezing we did find a heater in the wardrobe but was a little to late , Overall was a little disappointed My parents are booked in for January as they go to the same location every year Not sure this hotel would suit them

Cons: Had booked for five families, nmely wife and self, 4 of our issue, and 10 g'kids total 19 persons) for wife,s 80th. I was paying, and clarified with reception as documents made this perfectly clear. Arriving in separate cars over a one hour period. BUT one family was requested to give cc guarantee of £700, and even worse, having checked out and been told all in order I set off home, that one family was told " bill not paid, and they could not leave till it was". I was half way up A16 when told this, wife and I very upset, as was family in question, and we turned back on A16 for several miles before was phoned again to be told hotel had realised mistake. nevertheless we had wasted time and money in having to set off back to return. It really spoiled what otherwise had been a nice stay.

And 2 plastic glasses in bathroom. These were not replaced nor were the tea bags each day. I did eventually go and get cups from the bar restaurant plus 2 glasses. Confused about checking desks being shared for Novotel and ibis. Restaurant menu very limited for dinner.

Cons: Unpleasant reception staff on arrival, communications poor and arrival unexpected but it was booked, noisy room beside reception/door/stairs/dining room despite asking for quiet room - alternative room given but tiny/kept hitting leg on bed as room so small, dirty and tired room, more shabby than chic. At breakfast we had to sit at table literally in a doorway having to get up every time people left/arrived for breakfast, shower grim/dirty, lack of staff on site...so many other places to stay would not recommend this one.

Cons: We arrived later than we thought we would. I had emailed the hotel to let them know. Were greeted by a young man who for the whole time he checked us in had his shoulder holding his phone to his ear. He gave us incorrect information about parking. He showed my 91 yr old father to his room, I went to park the car on my return he was no where to be seen so I had to find my room myself. The rooms are very small and my bath was not one that I wanted to use. The breakfast room is very small and is also the main walk way from rooms to the front door. The lady serving breakfast showed us a table and then left us to try and work breakfast out ourselves. We decided not to stay the 3 nights that we had booked and found another hotel before we checked out. We checked out about 9.00 am and was charged for 3 nights. We did not make a fuss and were polite
