The staff were extremely polite, courteous and helpful.
We was unsure what to do at breakfast as there was a tour in and they'd been told to sit at the same tables as the previous day. We were only booked in for the one night and had no idea which tables(if any) were free to sit on. The staff were very helpful but they didn't know which table would be free so we were given one but someone else sat there so we sat at a different table at hoped that nobody minded.
The food was of a good standard and the staff was very helpful and friendly.
The room was on the ground floor, it was very noisy with many people banging doors in the early hours. The room was an adjoining room and voices from the other room were easily heard. The cleanliness of the bar and table surfaces were not good.
The buffet breakfast was very good. All staff we came into contact with were friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable.
The bathroom was very jaded with mould on the grouting and rust forming around the bath taps.
Our stay was comfortable and the hotel provided everything we needed. I would say I found the staff friendliness and efficiency the best experience, they were excellent .
I think the room was pleasant but the bathroom decor slightly dated and a little bit tired looking.
Hot water stays hot. Comfy beds,we were a family of three and there were plenty of spare pillows and towels available in the room without having to ask for them, which I often have to when travelling with the family
Have used hotel over the last 10-15 years, decor looking a bit faded and unchanged. That they no longer supply biscuits with the tea and coffee facilities, the restaurant closes too early on the weekend
It was ideally placed for my purposes; dinner was nice and reasonable value and breakfast was nice. I had a cold at the time and wasn't feeling great but I slept fairly well and the people were nice. It was nothing spectacular but there was little to criticse
Well you did ask! - There was a hot pipe running vertically throught the wardrobe that made it difficult to control temperature in the room.
Excellent Breakfast
the staff and the room service and the room. It was better than I had expected
the location.
Staff were very pleasant
Probably location as too far out of town and charges for taxis were very expensive
The breakfast buffet was excellent. The rooms were spacious. The staff was incredibly helpful. By far our favorite hotel of our three week stay in the Britains.
The fact that there weren't more like it available elsewhere!
the breakfast
