Clean room, friendly and helpful staff, perfect location near King's Cross - for moderate money
Bathroom was not clean
staff were great, :)
Clean, fast check in. Cheap.
The bed side lamp didn't work. It would flick on and off when attempting to switch it on. Heaters wouldn't work. I turned both knobs on the heater but it wouldn't warm up. Hallway heaters were not turned on. It was hard to find the place.
the hotel was clean and tidy and the staff was really helpful and let us check in earlie too.
the tele did'nt work over the 3 days we was there, there was a draft coming from the window, breakfast room small and not much on offer and only one type off jam-marmalade. only 2 slices off toast, coffee way to strong. charges way to much to keep your bags there. bathroom: water went all over the floor and was wet and slippery could of done with a bath matt.
Good location, close to Tube station.Very efficient and pleasant ladies who ran the breakfast room. They kept things ticking over so there was no table wait and toast arrived hot and quickly.
Demand by front desk attendant for"payment in advance" on my first morning.I Had already been asked for this more politely by another front desk clerk the previous evening when I arrived about 6.30pm.I Had only Euro and promised to convert currency the next day.I Was annoyed to be stopped the following morning on my way out with "We always require payment in advance" by another less friendly clerk when clearly I could not have been to a bank during the night! Nothing on your web site or on my booking printout mentioned this policy of payment in advance.I Was aware of the 3.5% credit card surcharge so preferred to pay in cash to avoid this. If upfront payment for the entire stay at checkin is a requirement, please put this on the booking email.
Clean Good facilities (tv shower room) 24hour access Polite staff Excellent location
Size of room and shower room-small Noisy during the night Only one pillow Dining room too cramped for the number of customers Breakfast poor- only continental breakfast
Noisy bed, narrow stairs
Overall, comfortable, clean well priced
Noise (tv) from adjoining room late a night I.E. 1am. I dont the the tv was particularly load but it kept me awake
