Not clear that you have to exit the property to use the pool- wound up with 2 very cold little girls walking down the street in their bathers.
Excellent staff, location and room. Very clean and tidy. Great for a trip to London to sightsee or shop. Would stay again.
Pleasant helpful staff
Cooked breakfast was cold, however they offered as complimentary even though we hadn't complained
Not one of the best hotels we have stayed in, we had our bill pushed under the door at 9:30am! But hey, at least it was clean.
Not much. Bad location if you decide to use the tube. Long walk to Maida Vale stop. There is a closer station but didn't seem that safe after dark. It was close to Paddington Rail Station.
Almost everything in the room, like the hair dryer, TV heat/cooling controls were broken. Didn't receive morning wake up call when requested. Wasn't informed about less expensive breakfast at the bar. 16.50 pounds for a average breakfast was not worth it. American Marriott's are better and nicer.
They did not have family room reserved for us as we requested with Booking.comThey told us booking.com had only put the request in Dec 16 even though we had confirmation from Booking.com Nov. 1. They charged us the same price for all of us in a double bed room and 2 cots. And that was after showing us an even smaller room that would have impossible for 4 people to share! After so many bookings with you I don't understand why this happened.
We did not at all appreciate the disco party noise going on on Friday and Saturday night at the hotel bar until late at night
nice room, pleasant staff
breakfast far too expensive
I quite enjoyed my stay at Marriot. All the amenities are in top shape.
It was a good location for our trip, good size family room, enjoyed using the pool
Unfortunately the reception area was being renovated which made access to and availability of lifts difficult. We had a room with a door to an adjoining room -this creates a serious lack of privacy as everything from the adjoining room can be overheard.
