Cons: Everything was brilliant
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything super
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was adequate and generally the food was very good.
Cons: I should really have stayed in the Ibis nearer to the town as on this occasion I was travelling by train and it was difficult using public transport although there was always a taxi to take me back in the evenings.

Pros: Breakfast was amazing value....
Cons: Location was a little industrial...
7.5 Good
Pros: Good location for having the car. Clean room. Good air con.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Fully automated checking with the reservation code. One could go a step further and have the car gate open automatically based on license plate recognition to avoid a potential queue there. Working Airconditioning!
Cons: The code to enter the car park. First had to walk inside and retrieve the code through the kiosk. This car gate code could have been sent with the confirmation. No hairdryer

A stay at Victor Hugo places you in the heart of Lorient, within a 15-minute walk of Stade du Moustoir and Theatre de la Chimere. Featured amenities include express check-in, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and multilingual staff. Free self parking is available onsite.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was very convenient to the centre of the city. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The resorption was very nice and helpful. Good breakfast. Very close to restaurants, free parking.
Cons: The foom is very small
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely friendly staff, clean rooms with a great shower. The location is nice and it seemed pretty quiet. The breakfast was also amongst the best we had on our five day trip.
Cons: Not a massive problem but the rooms could have done with a fan as it did get a little bit stuffy at night; it was not an option to have the window open as it was right above one of the beds.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: close to town. #13 bus to the Eric Tabarly and Submarine museums is right there. Thanks for the concession tickets. Parking is good and €4 for a motocycle.
Cons: Its not the hotels fault that it was so hot, but it was their fault that they were prepared to do nothing about it, not even considering a fan, which, I tried to explain, would be a smart business move. So if it's going to be over the high 20c and your room is on the top floor and facing the road, I'd suggest you try somewhere else because you won't get much sleep. There was a persistent and annoying plumbing noise from the bathroom.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The owner / manager was so helpful and spoke excellent English.
Cons: The bar and restaurant weren't open but we understood as it was being refurbished.
7.5 Good
Pros: A decent hotel overall but the room was minuscule and appropriate only for sleeping. The breakfast for 9.50 euros included boiled eggs, mini crepes, cheese, deli meats, croissants and cereal. Staff were really friendly.
7.1 Good
Pros: Lovely staff doing their best in a property badly in need of refurbishment.
Cons: This is an old property looking very tired. The first thing that strikes you as you go upstairs is the worn and ingrained carpet and the shabby upstairs corridotmr. Some minor improvements have been made (usb sockets in the bedroom) but the bathroom door was simply hanging from runners with no means of closing properly. The room (which was one of the more expensive) was very small.

5.4 Okay
Pros: The room was spacious (twin bedroom). Beds were big (wide, not length) and comfortable. The hotel is close to the train station.
Cons: The hotel, in general, is run down and not well maintained. Moreover, it is not as clean as it should be. In particular, the bathroom was mouldy (see pictures). The reception staff was unable to book a taxi for us despite (allegedly) spending 45 minutes on the task.
10.0 Excellent

Cons: No tea-making facilities, but that may be because I'm British rather than French! The breakfast room is rather cramped - too small for the size of the hotel. But the fare was good for the price. Very nice bread in particular.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast more than generous
7.1 Good
Pros: Quiet room and excellent shower.
Cons: Not too close to centre.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Located not far from city centre, with car park. Room was fine, no issues with it or the bathroom - not the Ritz, but fine for a short break. We asked for iron and ironing board - it was pristine, do not think anyone had ever ironed there before!
Cons: No lift - with a very heavy case, it took a few stops on the stairs before reaching the room. Did not have the breakfast, so can not comment on that. Only breakfast is catered for, however a short walk away, there is the city centre, with restaurants and bars.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and silent, near the city centre and train station.

The breakfast is simple but tasty and good value and there is a boulangerie a few doors away to buy lunch items from. The bus boats are useful to get across the inlets quickly and the people at the tourist information office nearby are very helpful.
Cons: The bathroom door in room 12 is a sliding one but doesn't fit properly.

Overview Reviews
A stay at Smartappart Lorient places you in the heart of Lorient, within a 15-minute walk of Stade du Moustoir and Theatre de la Chimere. Featured amenities include multilingual staff, laundry facilities, and an elevator.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and comfortable
Cons: The codes were a problem but wonderful staff
10.0 Excellent
Cons: the fact that there is no soap or sponse for the kitchen. Guests are required to buy for their own use
7.0 Good
Pros: Fantastic set up with codes sent early allowing for swift allocation of apartments to staff. Secure parking also accessible by code located with relative ease. Location in town is central with multiple bar and food options nearby with a fantastic little bakery for breakfast literally next door. Laundry and ironing facilities v useful.
Cons: Could have done with twin beds given it was a work outing but had doubles throughout. Family suite is a little too small with sofa bed folded out in bed mode.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The studio was large and well equipped, the shower very large and the bathroom nice. The bakery was very close and we had a kitchenette . So you could have breakfast in your room. We had forgotten to reserve it , we didn't know we couldn't reserve it on the spot . It was something that was brought to your room, I understood .When we had arrived at the smart hotel , I phoned them because there was nobody around, and they said they had no breakfast room. It would have been useful to be informed in advance.
Cons: We would have liked to meet some staff. It seems that they employ a receptionist just 2 or 3 hours in the morning or afternoon and not every day. We arrived at 5 p.m on a Tuesday and knew we wouldn't see any receptionist . We managed to check in without problem , but it was rather lonely along the corridors. Towels were missing in our bathroom . I phoned a number and a nice person answered and found a satisfactory solution . So it would be more pleasant if we could meet staff.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The place was easy to find, first the street then a sign with the name on so easy. Then the code given for the door entry was good but I was confused about the parking, in fact the same code operated the parking area security door, once the keypad was discovered since it appeared to be associated with another garage door not the one I had been directed to.
Cons: Cant think of anything actually, it was quiet comfortable bed wasn't sure anyone else was there but then saw someone.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Code Access to come and go as we wish.
Cons: Noise outside air conditioning I think from another building.
7.9 Good
Pros: easy check in easy check out
Cons: no private car park as it seems to suggest. In fact only street parking
5.0 Okay
Pros: Property was dirty no staff to ask questions car park was out of order due to roadworks the pillows had stains on them it was very noisy at night shower flooded when used as drain was full of hair just don’t bother
