8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very quiet location, dog-friendly, and very helpful staff.
Cons: I found I couldn't really get the lounge area warm, even after putting the bedroom electric fire in there. Hot water bottles and throws in the winter months would be a nice touch.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely quiet site. Excellent swimming pool. Very friendly hosts.
6.0 Good
Cons: Heating was poor but dog walking was good didn't stay long enough to try the pool but it did look lovely. The accommodation could do with some up dating but we very much appreciated that our dogs were welcome
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Lodge was spotless on arrival and lovely and warm. We were late arriving due to car troubles en route and staff were very helpful. Lovely little dog boxes for our pampered pooches gave it that extra little touch. Definitely book again!

7.5 Good
Pros: We have stayed here dozens of times. It is a lovely place to stay and very central to Marazion. The breakfasts are a joy!
Cons: The change in business model from a ‘hotel with restaurant’ to a ‘restaurant with rooms’ has resulted in some perceived decrease in status for residents. For example there is no check in reception now and room charging in the bar/restaurant is no longer allowed. It is also premium priced in my humble opinion.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: We had an amazing room overlooking the iconic St Michael's Mount, in fact it was a suite, which was a bonus. The bed was comfy, and the shower lovely.
Cons: I would only comment that the music from the restaurant seeped up through the floor, and the emergency green light was very bright, but it was perfect in every other way.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, accommodation, staff, service, facilities and food 10/10 We needed to relax and that’s what we did, in the most stunning location with personal attention to every detail. We will be making this a regular for sure!

Pros: We loved the room with the view to the Mount St. Michael. I was so glad that we got especially that room, because it was my husbands 70th birthday and the staff understood the importance of my petition. Thanks for that so much! THe room had a very special feeling. It was amazing, just to look at the mount and see the tide coming ang going. Only sad thing was, that we had to leave!

Cons: It was very windy and the roof rattled keeping me awake through the night. Not sure what anyone could do but i didnt get a good nights sleep. Breakfast was very nice but menu driven so didn't give usual variety. Room was a tad small for the price but very clean and comfortable all the same.

Pros: Breakfast was great, as was supper, room was really nice too
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was small but beautifully furnished and set up. Overall ambience was very nice and staff all friendly and helpful. Place chiefly presented and clean. High quality restaurant is part of premises so all on hand.
Cons: We thought the breakfast on offer was rather limited and expensive (really just a brunch available for staying or drop in guests). Think that the stay should have been bed and breakfast inclusive.

Pros: Friendly staff great food good location and a little bit quirky
Cons: Bed could have been a little wider and more comfortable

Pros: Lovely room, excellent restaurant, good staff, nice area.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: We enjoyed three breakfasts, each time choosing the homemade granola which was unsugared (or seemed to be) and was excellent. We also had one dinner and both our dishes were delicious, especially the bass.
Cons: As our room was downstairs, we only had a view of a wall. However, this was offset by the charm of the room itself.

The Cove - Penzance - Bedroom

7.0 Good
Pros: Beautiful location, peaceful and naturally wild near the sea. Wonderful sea views.
Cons: Out of season so facilities not available.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely location. Very clean comfortable rooms and good shower. Great base for exploring local area.
Cons: Was difficult to get WiFi connected
8.0 Excellent
Pros: View
Cons: Pool was not open
6.7 Good
Pros: Peaceful location, clean!
Cons: I understand The Cove is under new management so I can see things would be a little different as the transition happens. Not seeing any staff was a bit unsettling to be honest, we were in Room 9 and there was no WiFi no matter which we tried. The toaster doesn’t work so no toast in the morning, such a shame this wasn’t checked before hand. Only one toilet roll for two over two nights, no spare. The sink tap has come away from its fixing so I can imagine that will be sorted soon. Also we could only get BBC1 and BBC2 on the television and even that didn’t work at times.
7.0 Good
Pros: Facilities were excellent. Views, walks. Clean. Lovely location.
Cons: Didn't see any staff. Sofa bed was very uncomfortable.
6.7 Good
Pros: It was lovely and warm, the bed was comfy and the shower was good. Lamorna is a stunning location and feels very remote despite being only 15 mins from Penzance.
Cons: It’s down at the heal. The complex is being refurbished and it appears our apartment (no.2) hasn’t had any work done yet. There was an unfortunate damp smell.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We decided to go away last minute before half term and stumbled across The Cove on the internet. Regardless of the storms coming in, it was every bit as lovely as the website showed. Although the apartment we had booked had taken some storm damage, they were amazing and managed to accommodate us still with beautiful sea views and everything that we needed. Nothing was too much trouble and they checked with us daily to ensure that our stay was comfortable. It was beautifully clean and if we needed anything further there was always someone on site to assist. I would thoroughly recommend The Cove for a family get away, only I'd like to keep it secret so we could have it all to ourselves!! Happy holidays to all staying there and a massive thank you to Leon and Johny for all their hard work.
Cons: Possibly slightly better lighting in the lounge diner, lights slightly low. Other than that can't think of anything!
7.0 Good
Pros: Gorgeous location. Remote. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean, comfortable self-catering rooms. Please be aware there is no restaurant on the premises.
Cons: Spotty cell phone and internet service.

Pros: We were especially impressed with the views from our room (room 17). We really enjoyed the breakfast. The room was very comfortable. Staff were friendly.
Cons: We could hear people in the other rooms/ walls seemed a bit thin. We appriciated the parking spot but it was quite difficult to manoeuvre in the car park.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the location, our room was superb (first floor with a sea view) and the food in the restaurant was without fault. Friendly, welcoming service and we were made to feel extremely welcome
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The restaurant was really pleasant. An amazing choice on the breakfast menu, all cooked to perfection and wonderful selection on the breakfast bar. Evening meals were excellent - no need to venture out for a restaurant. Choice of lounges, with relaxing seating and a welcoming fire. The room was comfortable , with tea and coffee making facilities. A window seat with looking out over the sea. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Couldn't have asked for more. A definite return visit later in the year.
Cons: There was nothing to dislike. Just perfect.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was great with lots of choice, quality ingredients, cooked well. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Location perfect for my requirements. Will stay again
Cons: Bit of noise from the road that secondary glazing would solve but not a big concern.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Best price in Penzance and great value for money. Nice warm, clean room. Plenty of space and cant hear any road noise despite being on the main road. Breakfast was very tasty and nothing was too much to ask for, everything made fresh.
Cons: Would've been nice if there was an actual car park for the inn. Instead we had to park in the long stay car park on the harbour, which was a 5-10 minute walk to the inn. Which is fine if it's dry weather but unfortunately the heavens opened when were walking back to the car. The car park was very cheap though only £2.20 for 24hrs.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. They could not do enough to make our stay a pleasant experience
Cons: Was not long enough stay

Pros: Quite laid back,, good food,, comfortable room, good location., helpful staff.
Cons: Nothing
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Room & bathroom very clean, bed comfortable so slept very well. Breakfast was of a very good standard and the location was bob on! The attached pub bar was very friendly and it suited our needs perfectly. Its a B&B within a pub! Thats what we wanted! Thats what we got! And the bar noise did not travel to our bedroom!
Cons: The bedrooms aside, it wasn't the cleanest of properties, but to be fair I think that is because parts are a bit dated, rather than poor service, and it is going through a refurbishment. The outside bedroom window was very grimy, but again we stayed during Storm Jorge, so I wouldn't expect the window cleaner to visit :-). The only true negative was the temperature of the breakfast room.....freezing!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was great ... right in the heart of St. Just with easy access to the downtown. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and provided excellent suggestions for things to do in the area. The breakfasts were great!

7.1 Good
Pros: Clean, good bed.
Cons: For this price we would have loved a proper breakfast, not pre-packed bread you had to eat sitting on the bed. The host showed a bit of a salesman mentality, no common area.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A beautiful room in an amazing house, super clean, wonderful grounds and very quiet, thank you for a very happy stay Doug.
Cons: There really wasn’t anything we didn’t like - it would be lovely if there was a breakfast room, a continental breakfast is taken in your room, all the breakfast goods were of high quality - so it is not a complaint.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable, clean rooms. Excellent breakfast. Large room.
Cons: Driveway to the house is very narrow and about 1/3 mile. The location is outside of Penzance so had to drive further to get to the sights.
