the staff were excellent. the location was very close to the center of the square. the riad was very easy to find as compared to other places. the rooms were very clean and everything was tidy. room and bathroom were always cleaned daily.
So my experience might not be the same as others, but we stood in the Room 1 which is next to the entrance. We only had 2 nights in the Riad. As soon as we walked into the room it had a distinct mold smell, we assumed it was due to the water from the pool next to our window, we didn't think much of it as we were going out to eat dinner. But when we came back after dinner at night, everything settled and opened, we decided to open the AC and my partner was showering. The mold smell got even stronger to the point it was unbearable. Either the AC was blowing mold out of the vents or the bathroom steam multiplied the smell. We decided to sleep with the windows slightly open to let the air out but it was still unbearable. We didn't complain as we were only there 2 nights and we were all settled with luggage opened. The second night we decided to not use the AC and just have the windows opened. It was more bearable as there was little to no mold smell, maybe just a little coming from the pool. The smell should have been caught by the cleaning staff. the second thing is that since we were the first room next to the entrance. you could hear everything going on outside (i mean everything...) from the loud knocks in the main entrance door, to everyone talking (although we did have our windows partially opened). I used earplugs which were fine but there was someone who checked in or came in at like 3-4AM and they knocked really loud twice 2-3 mins apart and it definitely woke me up.
Great location, the riad was so pretty and quiet and the staff were excellent
