Pros: We had a marvellous stay, all the staff are so helpful and the palace building is lovely. The restaurant food is exceptional with so much choice and a lovely modern decor. We enjoyed the pool area and the afternoon dj set was great, all the little touches made this hotel stand out, handing out skewers of freash fruit to everyone around the pool area, was so refreashing on a hot July day.The pool bar staff were so attentive, you really felt relaxed and chilled out. The hotel is on a golf course and just a few minutes walk from the beach, but we spent all our time in the hotel as we only stayed for one night. Very good bus service on the main road running along the seafront for a change of scene. We will definitely return and stay for longer, it is by far the best adults only hotel in the whole area and we have stayed in most of them!
Cons: It's a bit of a walk to local bars, restaurants and shops and the evening entertainment in the hotel was an acquired taste ( a young lady with an electric violin playing at full volume, old fashioned music). The majority of the room balconies are very small.

Pros: The location is on the edge of Mojacar, going towards Garrucha. However, there is a local bus at the bottom of the road, that runs every 25 minutes and takes you directly into the Playa & then another to the Pueblo. It is very quiet and relaxed and exactly what we wished for. We had a superior sea view room, with a huge balcony with sunbeds. The room was spacious, clean and the beds very comfortable. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel spotlessly clean. Cannot wait to return.

Pros: The large private balcony with views down to the sea, and over the surrounding countryside was exceptional. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of storage space in the room. The cortijo has been sympathetically restored, retaining all of its rustic charm (despite a few leaks during the torrential downpours). Lourdes and her team could not have been more friendly and helpful. She opened the restaurant just for us on our first evening and we had amazing food with plenty of choice. She was also happy to recommend a couple of restaurants for our 2nd evening. Although I don't regret paying extra for the superior room, it did make it a bit expensive taking into account some of the details such as only a small TV, no kettle in the room and some attention needed to decorating. But we'd definitely stay there again if we visit Mojacar again.
Cons: Although there was a shower arrangement over the circular bath with panoramic views, there was no separate shower cubicle. Getting in and out of the bath to have a shower was somewhat challenging! The towels could have been a little larger and fluffier, but were perfectly adequate.

Pros: The staff are very friendly and helpful. A problem with the air conditioning unit in our room was sorted out immediately. The hotel and grounds are always clean and well looked after. We had a breakfast package, the food was excellent well presented with plenty of choice. Can't recommend this hotel enough.

Pros: The room warm large and spacious with big terraces. There was a good variety of breakfast available. The hotel is fairly centrally located and close to the beach which is handy. The reception staff were very polite welcoming and helpful.
Cons: The pool was tired and fenced in with a rather ugly metal fence so not appealing. All of the sun beds had towels on them by 9am with no one on them stopping others from using them. The rooms were comfortable but could definitely do with an update when it comes to the furniture. 12 euros for parking when having already paid £145 for a 1 night stay was steep. However parking is of a premium in the area so I guess if they can get away with it then they will

Pros: Fantastic friendly staff on reception, we were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Room was clean, comfortable and spacious. The pool is saltwater which we loved, and there are plenty of sun beds in and out of the sun. The pool bar cocktails were great too. Will definitely be back again.
Cons: We did have issues with the water in the shower, one minute it was ok then suddenly went really cold and then red hot. We didn’t report it, which we should have done and allowed them time to repair it. The only other negative for me is that the beds are rather hard.

Pros: Food was very varied and good and the rooms were very spacious with a very large terrace . It was extremely busy the weekend we arrived but they handled everyone very professionally.

The service provision by staff was second-to none, they could not do enough for you, but were also really professional. The tea was disgusting as was the coffee.

The complex is not far from the centre of town where you will find various bars, restaurant and lively night life and other cultural places of interest.

Pros: The hotel was clean and easy to check in and out of. The pool was lovely and it was in very close proximity to the beach, shops and the golf club. Some nice restaurants near by too.
Cons: The hotel was extremely busy and full of families. You could not relax during the day due to the noise of the kids clubs in the hotel which went on until 11am. The hotel is much closer to Garrucha than Mojácar. The reception gave us a number for a taxi that didn’t show and left us stranded in the middle of the night.

Pros: I liked the hotel very much and its location, the food for breakfast and dinner was very good with lots of variation. the room was big with plenty of room to hang your clothes and it was also clean.
Cons: The only downside to our stay was that if you left your sun lounger to go inside for either your lunch or refreshments and you were gone longer than an hour and a half they removed your belongings from the sun lounger and gave it to someone else, they put your belongings into a plastic bag for your collection, so if you were all inclusive or full board you would be very upset of the outcome, this policy of the Hotel was not given on our arrival we were told of this by other guests who had there belongings removed in this way.

Cons: Checking in was difficult because there was nowhere to park whilst we were at reception and we needed a card to access the hotel’s underground car park. On-street parking only at this stage. The car park immediately outside the hotel didn’t belong to them. The underground car park was fine when we eventually got there. The location is quite a long walk from the centre of Mojacar so we had the evening meal in the hotel which was mediocre at best. The breakfast was very good, plenty of choice but very crowded and extremely noisy!

Upon our arrival at VistaMojacar, Francesco greeted us warmly. He took care of every aspect of our check in efficiently and with a big smile. He clearly is a man who enjoys engaging with people. We instantly felt welcome and comfortable. It set the tone for the great night that we had. The house was spotless. Francesco ensured that the heating was on for us and that everything was in order before he left. I would book VistaMojacar again and I will happily recommend them and Francesco to my family and friends. 10 out of 10. P.S... I loved your Sportster, sweet ride.
