7.1 Good
Pros: Location was great, staff were very nice. The beds were very comfortable.
Cons: I was expecting a regular breakfast as most B&Bs provide but we did get a nice tray with pastry and fruit. The bathroom was very dated and needs some work. Heater would only work for a while, then it would blow cool air.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Closeness to Chateau Montebello
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Spacious room with keurig machine and delicious breakfast right at your door
Cons: Hard pillow and I'm a light sleeper so the small noise from the cars outside woke me up several times in the night
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Cozy and very clean. It was a nice stay.

Nestled in the heart of the scenic Montebello village, surrounded by nature, the resort is famed for its rustic yet luxurious accommodations, excellent service and refined gastronomy.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Spa is the one redeeming feature, which has been well maintained and offers a nice space to sit and relax before or after your treatment.
Cons: Hotel is run down, rooms are spacious but dreary. Restaurant breakfast buffet is totally over priced and mediocre at best.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The surrounding
Cons: No toothbrush in the room No water bottle in the room During the breakfast some of the dishes were not kept warm
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very friendly and accommodating.
Cons: Restaurant service very slow and waited extremely long time for food. When meals arrived they were cold so had to wait for new entrees to arrive. Staff discounted our bill
3.7 Mediocre
Pros: Beautiful historic building with a cozy lobby sat around a multi sided fireplace
Cons: What was undoubtedly once a jewel amongst grand Canadian hotel has been largely left to detiorate. Little has been done to maintain the premises and ugly, tacky features have been added with little thought given to the design aesthetic of the original hotel. Staff levels have obviously been cut way back and the quality of service is sub par for a hotel at this price point.
6.5 Good
Pros: 1) Great staff, very helpful and friendly 2) Extremely comfortable bedding 3) Interesting and unique round-log structure
Cons: 1) The cost exceeds value by approx. 25% 2) There is a 'nickel 'n dime' attitude to everything. They are there to take your money. 3) Despite being promoted as 5*, the facilities are 'tired' (cracked washbasin, holes in carpets, garbage in public area etc)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A unique property, piece of Canadian history. Fantastic breakfast brunch.
Cons: Smokers should be banned from smoking right outside the main doors. I returned from skiing and had to walk through a crowd of 8-10 smokers right outside the main door.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Ambiance and layout are inspiring. A wonderful place to just immerse yourself
Cons: Some activities were only available on weekend (we stayed during the week)

7.0 Good
Pros: Hotel is located in a lovely setting, very picturesque and charming. The central fireplace is a great meeting place, very cosy and inviting!
Cons: Hotel feels like it needs refreshing. We stay every year, and last year were told the rooms and lobby would be renovated, when in fact only a select group of rooms were renovated, which we did not have the luxury of staying in. Lobby furniture is showing its age. Menus could use some upgrading as well, selections feel limited.
