Pros (+) I have stayed here before and had a great experience on the second floor with a single bed and vaulted ceilings. It was comfy and a good price for a great location.
Cons (-) This time I stayed in a double room on the first level and it was a totally different experience. I could hear every single step the family in the room above me took. The front desk staff asked the family to be quiet which helped, but it's not practical to rent a room at that price for what felt like a hostel level experience. Pros (+) Staff was very helpful They allowed us to check out 24 hours early. made a new key for us at 1 am. Close to water and Cannery Row. Beds were comfortable. Free parking.
Cons (-) Inn has become run down looking. There were no complimentary beverages in lobby such as tea, coffee or cocoa. Our room looked shabby. No pictures on the wall. We had problems with the TV one evening, could not get working till next day. Fireplace has it's flames sooo low you can not see them.
