Great location, great view, great price, great staff, brilliant stay. Will definitely be coming back next year!
Our second stay here and not our last! As before clean, quiet, loverly pool, loverly owners.
The pool was gorgeous. We were booked for two nights and our ferry to the island got canceled because of high winds. I called the hotel to move our stay back a night because it was impossible to get to the island and was told I would incur a whole nights extra charge because I hadn't canceled in the stated time period. I reiterated that I would still be staying there the number of nights I had booked but couldn't get there because of canceled ferries and they did not care. I got them to negotiate it down from charging me a whole extra night, but it was out of my control and they were unreasonable. I was very upset and disappointed.
The hotel is managed by a very friendly family. They look after all the time. Very well located: 10 minutes walking to the port and 15 minutes to Chora. They also offer you free shuttle to the port. Excellent service and fantastic swimming pool. The bar offers fantastic cocktails for a good price. The rooms are quite good. Nothing.
People there are very friendly Nothing
The staff were very friendly, the room was great, and the view from the pool was very pretty.
The family who run the otel were warm and welcoming. The pool was wonderful to beat the heat of Greece. Easy bus ride into main town or a quick walk. Beautiful view of the sea.
he staff was great, although no music could be played after arpund 10pm..family oriented hotel. If you wnat something more relaxed lok closer to the port. the pool closed at 8pm which was expected but did not allow for any time in teh pool at sun-down/sun-set. food selection could be better.
the friendliness of staff and their willingness to help- give advice about the island/ having a balcony and swimming pool with great views/ good public transport to main locations around the island (main town walkable if not too hot)
The attitude and assistance of the staff. The relaxing atmosphere and absence of noise.
Good location with an excellent view of Mylopotas beach. Relatively accessible to town centre, by bus/bike/foot. Organised transfers by the hotel/village staff which was very convenient. Just look for the far out signs held up and they will take you straight to either the hotel or campsite, wherever ur staying. There are good Far Out facilities by Mylopotas Beach (pool, restaurant, bar), this is open for everyone. Breakfast was a little simple. Reception staff can be moody, depending on the shift. (THumbs up to the guy at reception on the night graveyard shift though.)
The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.
Excellent view, nice staff, fantastic pool and bar, tidy and smart rooms, definitely worth staying. on the check-out i was informed about 30 EURO worth phone call from my room, which of course i did not make (i travel with company cell, why would i use hotel phones). i recommend to disable phone services on arrival, probably room service is using them. on the positive side: hotel staff let it go without me paying.
The location was perfect. Situated between the beach and the village.
The receptionists were great...especially vasoula !!
Helpfullness of the staff.
The view, the staff and the cleanliness!
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Service, quality, and value for money of food and beveages offered at the poolside bar was excellent. Although there were many restaurants a short cab ride away from the hotel there weren't too many within a short walking distance.
We soaked up the sun, ate and slept extremely well. We went to both the beach and the pool as the hotel was a such a pleasure to be at. The view was amazing and the hotel immaculate. We had absolutely no complaints whatsoever. none!
The room and pool facilities appeared to have been recently remodeled and were beautiful with a great view of the beach. The husband and wife owners were very attentive and picked us up at the port.
Fantastic place, great view, service and rooms. A must stay hotel in Ios!
Loved our stay at Katerina, the family are so helpful and approachable. They brought us to and from the port. Really clean rooms and gorgeous balcony with full view of Mylopathas Beach or pool if you don't fancy the walk, however the Hotel has great location; equidistant from both beach and town.
Magnificent view from the room balcony. We had to take morning tea from the reception downstairs by ourself to our room and drink cold tea by the time we get to our room. No room service! It is 15 minutes walk to beach and 15 minutes walk to the town centre.
Beautiful view. Pieceful. Appreciated both by adults and teenagers. We will come back.
Everithing there was perfect.
We felt we were guests of the family. Beautiful views from the pool and rooms. a/c worked. Shower was small but had good water pressure. They even met us and gave us a ride from the ferry to the hotel. The beds were rock hard. My back still hurts.
Loved this place was awesome view and individual pool with room was fantastic. Was the nicest place we stayed in all of Greece. Location was excellent.. Nothing at all.
It was the best I have ever stayed. Everything was perfect; the staff, the breakfast, the beach...Friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff
Stunning views, feeling of privacy, large comfortable and clean rooms, great breakfast, very friendly and efficient staff - all in all a wonderful experience! Balcony (room 24) and terrace chairs in need of replacement
Located on the way to the beach(just 2 minutes) with a short walking distance to the town this resort offer nice rooms with terraces (ours was with private swimming pool) and a wondefull sea view. Everything was great ! we felt like home but surrounded by a very kind, helpfull, attentioned and smiling staff.
Our experience in this hotel was fabulous, since we arrived we were treated excellent and painstaking, the hotel is exquisite theater scenery and set in detail, the attention of all staff and treatment and the warmth of their owners make this hotel the best where we have been all over Greece. The rooms are large and super comfortable (I recommend the suite with private pool is great !!!), impressive breakfast with a great selection of products made Margarita area, own the hotel, which is a charming person, as well as their daughters, popi and Marco, her husband. Certainly recommend to anyone who wants to spend unforgettable days on the island of Ios, visit this hotel and delivered to the magic of the landscape. Come back soon! Nothing
good location, lovely pool area, good breakfast and not too many rooms so quite peaceful
Fantastic views over mulopotas beach in a quiet and relaxing surrounding. Great service and outstanding breakfast in Greek style. Every detail is cared for. 10 points.
Everything. Most beautiful location, views (All rooms have sea view). Walking distance to the beach. Staff very friendly and helpful in many ways. The best of the nine hotels we booked and stayed during our trip in Greece & Turkey. True value for money.
I normally do not bother with writing reviews, however my finace and I really enjoyed staying at Leventes and felt as though we should write something up. The staff was wonderful in all aspects! Costas who worked the bar was fantastic, very helpful and in the know of what to do and where to go (we both enjoyed speaking with him) The location is great, just up the hill from the beach and a 10 minute walk to town. Breakfast although simple, they had enough variety for all (Yogurt and Honey is my personal favourite when in Greece). Everything was fantastic, we really enjoyed our stay and definitely hope to return in the near future.
NIce location and a good restaurant
Excellent food, Beds like all in Greece are singles and very hard
The Locations in front of the sea, the Pool Bar and the quiet apartments. Improve breakfast
During the day relax by the pool or beach at night party with the other guests
Close to the beach; Lots of water sport options; Rooms are private; Good pool and bar area No
The reputation of ios is a party island and indeed that of the Hotel which in April was the only source of loud music on the island. We detest loud music but all was fine - we first visited ios in the sixties with no cars only donkies no electric only oil lamps Important to note we stayed in early May before the season begins. Natasha Karava was running the Hotel -what a fantastic asset to this hotel. Seperate large village type accommadation all very good .Despite development ios remains a beatiful island . Collection by hotel bus from port was a real plus Dont like canned continual dico music . But staying in May with empty beaches this was no problem -would hate to visit island in July August
Next to the beach. The behaviour of the staff.
Port transfer, location, breakfast, pleasant staff
They charged the jacuzzi. And the bathroom floor was always wet due to the fact that water came out of the shower
we've stayed just for 2 nights but they were absolutely amazing! the staff, the location and the swimming pool are great!
Everything, the friendly staff, the excellent service, cleaniliness of rooms, breakfast etc. From the moment we got our complimentary welcome drink untill we were dropped at the port we were treated like royals! Absolutely nothing!
Really good hotel, staff is really friendly, nice room, very good price, everything perfect
The staff !!! The people who works at Liostasi are absolutely amazing ! from the reception to the bars you will meet a warm, service minded and fun crew. The hotel is very good indeed but the staff is what makes it incredible :) Special thanks to Karima, Lida, Nico and Rossela - we already miss you guys !! the bathroom is really not nice. It is extremely small and the shower place floods the bedroom. Staying in a hotel on this level, we should not need to wipe the room's floor after taking a shower.
Beautiful pool over ocean. Clean and modern rooms. Restaurant menu is promising, but food is not as good as expected.
Excellent staff, stunning setting and views, fantastic food, great outdoor/communal areas decor. Beautiful room terrace. For a spa hotel, children should not be allowed. They routinely destroyed the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere (One child plus respective parents yelling at any given time ruin the atmosphere). Also, the size and decor of the rooms was not at the same level as the outdoor/restaurant/pool areas, but was in a different style and lower quality, with relatively small rooms and tiny bathroom.
Hotel high quality but not totally luxirious. a jacuzzi free to use but not very clean. The room was really nice. Spa/ Massage available upon request => not very cheap. The swimming pool was great, loved it but the water wasn't heated ! The view was wonderful. Perfect place for lovers or a group of friends. The staff was nice too. Free pick up at the port if requested. Free breakfast really good and various. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from downtown => you have to take stairs to go up to reach the center (that can be fastidious). For a "luxurious" hotel, the towels were not very soft (looked like used a couple of times ) and did not gave us shampoo/ soap samples for the second day. If you don't close all the doors and windows - the air conditionning won't work=> it is an automatic system (this comment may sound weird, but once you will be in the room you will get it ;-) !). We did not have much to spend, so we felt a bit apart from the others who were taken drinks and food at the hotel bar while they were near the swimming pool.
pool Rooms are very small, not a good value for money. Breakfast average with many wasps...
The location was good, the staff was friendly and the hotel was very nice the airconditioner in my room did not work and the satellite tv was not as advertised, only foxlife was the only chanel they had.
Very closed to the port
The staff were really friendly, the swimming pool is very nice, the bar and there is free internet wireless at comun areas. The hotel is in the port, and I think is better to be at Chora region, because is not so close to the town and there aren´t taxis in the street. The big thing is that you can arrive by foot from the boat, is really close, but is a little far (2 km) from Chora, the town of the city and were are the bars, clubs, restaurants.
The hotel staff were lovely and there was free wireless internet so I could sit on the deck or by the pool with my laptop. There is also a bar downstairs at the pool if you dont ant to leave but only makes basic meals. close to the port where all the boats come in. Think the walk to town is close by a secret stair way but I walked on the road not knowing this and it was 20+ mins up hill in the heat The room was small and bed a little dodgy for my liking and I only slept with a sheet because I didnt like the look of the blanket. I spent a lot of time in the room so wasnt too happy. also the bathroom wasnt the best and te room was small. Fine for anyone who needs a cheap room and wont be doing anything but sleeping. the pool was lovely and it is close to restaurants and right at the port
Location was brilliant - short distance from the Port& 10 mins walk to main town.Good size swimming pool & nice bar area This was supposed to be a 2 bed appartment but was 1bedroom with 3 single beds crammed into living area. Breakfast was very poor.
nice view for the front rooms old furniture, not value for money
Business run by a very nice man! He'll do anything he can to help you! Good location, always full of young people, you'll see often groups of girls too. Nice swimming pool. Booked a room for 90e and given a 70e room. When it was time to pay the lady said that I would pay 90 because of booking.com commissions: not fair. Never paid that extra on other hotels in Greece!! The cleaner opened my door while I was asleep in the late morning( forgot to lock...) to ask if I wanted the room serviced. Excuse me, I'm sleeping, shut that door and go!
We stayed in Homer's Inn for only two nights. It was a nice start of our roundtrip in the Cyclade Islands area. Very friendly welcome (transport from the port to the hotel), lovely swimming pool with good music and refreshments. Ios Island is very lively with a lot of young people. Our sons promised to come back...Panos and his parents try to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
The staff were friendly and helpful, even letting us choose between two rooms when we arrived! The pool area is fantastic with a pool side cafe. The bus stop to the town or the beach leaves from right outside the hotel. The hotel is not in the town and not in the port but half way in between. This is great for a quiet peaceful stay (the bus makes it easily accessible) but not so great for getting back from the town at 4am!
The family who own the hotel were so welcoming. The pool was really nice too.
Very good service, they helped us a lot, and a cute hotel. Big pool and a nice bar. Lies near the port. The bus stop is right outside the hotel. It took 15 minutes to walk to the centre and you had to walk on a long stair and it was heavy.
There was very nice pool facilities and it was close to the port and also a ten minute walk to the village(chora). Its close locality to both of these places was very convenient because we went to the village at night for party purposes and the port for dinner and food etc. The hotel staff were very amicable and helpful and the food at the poolside bar was delicious. I would recommend the hotel for any young people wanting a good base to party at night and chill by the pool by day. It also has a bus stop outside the hotel's door which brings you to the village or Mylopatas beach. It's a very modern hotel that is very good value. It also has free Wifi throughout the hotel which is very handy if you have portable electronic devices. The pool bar should remain open at night because it closed at 8 which was inconvenient
Fantastic views perfect location very friendly. breakfast was very limilted
everything, was great and very friendly. Will be there again!
The staff were very helpful and spoke very good english. The hotel was well set up with free internet/computers and ferry information. The pool and bar were great considering it is a cheap hotel. They offered tranfsers to/from the port. There was a bus stop just outside for the ride uphill into town and then it was an easy walk downhill at the end of the night. Fantastic value for money!! Nothing to complain about. Basic Greek room and bathroom - as to be expected
Wonderful owners and fantastic pool/bar area overlooking the bay & port area. Small bathroom & hot water runs out in a short amount of time.
I had the most faboulous weekend of this year. It was very relaxing. The hotel is very nice and and recently renovated. My room had a very nice view and great facilities and service. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. Great-quiet location, but at the same time vary near to everything. The view was amazing. The service was excellent. Owners are very nice people, that care about their guests. Great Pool..!!!! Nothing. Every thing was great. I will definitely book again next year.
great location near the city center, clean room and good breakfast.wifi on 1st floor
The room was clean and spacious. The pool was of adequate size and it was a quite hotel. Easy access to buses to the village (Hora)
Service was good (pick up at and transport to the port), Staff was very friendly and the breakfast was surprisingly good, even thought there was not oo much choice. The tv was pretty bad though (small and very bad reception.)
Since we came later in the season the swim-up bar was closed. This would have been nice to know when we made our booking.
Really good hotel staff, (including willing to help manager), quiet place, clean room, swimming pool is small, but ok - can be alternative to the beach. Closest beach is not that far (walking distance), and the bus going every 10 min (from the port, 10 min by foot) to the Chora and Mylopotas beach give the options. The room was small and there was a few places to place the luggage. No privacy on the balcony. Within the price range though one should say that this is acceptable.
Outstanding customer service, very friendly and helpful. Great atmosphere and homey. Really enjoyed our time
Very friendly staff, they asked us several times if we whanted to go whit them if they drove to Ios town anyway. Very quiet location. A little far from Ios town by foot, but the taxi was cheap.
I would recommend this hotel to everybody! We did'nt want to leave this hotel, place and people. I left with tears in my heart and eyes... We where there from 02/09/2010 untill 05/09/2010. The hotel was clean and up to date. The area surrounding the hotel was nice and the views where stunning! But the best of al was the family who ownes the place.... They where so sweet! The mum and dad of Nikiforos are the sweetest people you can find... The owners Nikiforos and Lisa are the best! People who you want to drink a beer with in a bar and just chat about things... very helpfull and generous. I loved it and it has a place in my heart.. Going to visit them again soon! Greetings from rainy belgium Antwerp... βοριάς πήρε τα ρούχα μου κι ο νότος τ' άρματά μου και η καλή παρέα σας μου πήρε την καρδιά μου. αλέχανδρος
Very helpful and kind owners who gave us lots of useful information. Rooms were comfortable, clean and well equipped. Good breakfast. Nice quiet location.
Perfect location, well equipped hotel and moreover the perfect recipe included a warm welcome and supportive family team!
Although no-frills, this is a well-maintained, comfortable hotel with attentive owners. The rooms are clean, bright, in good working order, our shared balcony very beautiful. The pool area is large and the water comfortably warm. It's a fair walking distance to the beautiful Yialos beach (8 - 10 min), to the port (10 - 15 min), and a short bus ride from the port to the main town. We enjoyed our stay very much.
The hotel staff was very considerate and help me in any thing I need. The swimming pool was very nice.
Incredible service : the manager, Niki, is so nice !!!! He is willing to help you with any demand, and does it so well ! He found us a car, knowing that we didn't find one by ourselves; he gave us rides anywhere we needed to go; wonderful breakfasts served by his lovely wife and daughter. The room was spotless, delighting balcony and swimming pool... Everything was perfect, and for the best price we've ever found in the Cyclades !!! We deeply recommend it !
Hotel run by lovely family, can't do enough for you!! We stayed in this hotel 20years ago and took our 12 & 14 year old boy's, they too loved it, the Pool is fab!! We picked again because of it's quite location-we wanted a good night's sleep!! Hope to return soon if the euro improve's.
Great location, very friendly staff, very clean rooms, very nice yard to sit and enjoy morning and sunset hours, nice view if you stay on the 1st floor the room was a bit small for two people though the bathroom was very spacious
clean,nice,quiet rooms,perfect view,low price,hospitality!
Good location, very clean, friendly and helpful staff.
It is a family business and the people are kind and helpful
