Great Experience
Pros: It was a fast an easy check-in, the room was nice and dark, it was reasonably quiet considering it was a hotel, check-out was simple and they were kind and lenient. The hotel had a nicer-than-average gym and a lovely snack area.
Cons: The pool was more like a hot tub, but perhaps smaller. This site says check-out is noon, but it's actually 11am - however, they do offer late check-out and were very understanding of our confusion.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND
Pros: Clean, clean, clean! Had everything I needed. Entire hotel is NON SMOKING a very BIG plus! Lots of towels, & very clean, comfotable room. Bed was terrific. I am used to Marriott Courtyards & my cleanliness standards are high. This is not posh but if you are looking for a clean, comfortable & quiet hotel this is a great stay. This hotel does not serve a breakfast but they have a little store that serves items you can fix in your room kitchen. I am not a fan of those hotel beakfasts with reconstittuted eggs etc so I did not miss that. There are pkenty of pkaces to find breakfasts & New Braunfels is a 10 minute drive where you can get TERRIFIC breakfasts.
Cons: I loved the nonsmoking policy throughout, the magnetic "do not disturb", "service the room" & "quiet please trying to catch zzzzs" door signs. I also loved the size, number, & fresh clean smell of the towels. The only suggestion I would give is to upgrade the shower heads to handhold models & provide a fuller shower stream.

Cons: No breakfast is served in the morning. On checkout day, this becomes a problem due to the earlier checkout times. It doesn't even need to be complimentary.
