New London hotels

Pros: A beautiful spot and a charming old inn with lovely staff.

Cons: Not much!

Pros: The breakfast was absolutely incredible and delicious and the staff made it so welcoming over Christmas!

Cons: I have been coming to the New London Inn for decades. It is a wonderful home away from home. The only thing I notices were the rugs in our room seemed a bit worn - but I love the New London Inn always.

Cons: When we booked the reservation said "Free private parking is available on site (reservation is not needed)." There were no spots upon arrival so we parked in the street with the other cars and were towed. The hotel has done NOTHING to compensate us. Due to this we had to pay $250 to get our car and it ruined our whole vacation b/c we had spend 2 hrs dealing with getting our car. I would expect the manager to offer to compensate us by a)only charging us half the nights fee OR b) offering us a free night to come back OR c)paying the impound fee. I have left a msg and have had NO RESPONSE...

Pros: Breakfast was great and included in price. Good location in New London. Staff was very friendly.

Cons: I was told my room had a double bed and twin bed, but in reality the twin bed was just a pull out sofa with a thin mattress. And there were no sheets, etc, ready for us to make the bed. The staff was friendly but didn’t seem to know much about the area. Not much sound-proofing between rooms and floors.

Pros: Convenience- good breakfast nice efficient waitstaff

Cons: Dirty rugs - moldy shower tile -

Pros: The hotel was in a great location and the staff was very accommodating

Cons: A small issue but the trash from the previous guest had not been emptied. Not a big deal - I am sure just an oversight.

Pros: Charming stay, great breakfast, central location.

Pros: Location was perfect. The room was nice. The Inn and dining room were charming. Breakfast was delicious and unique. Staff was very friendly and decor was comfy. Some older places have a musty smell - nothing like that here.

Cons: Only suggestion is to let patrons know that room is on the third floor with no elevator.

Pros: Beyond expectations. Unfortunately we could not dine in on the Monday, but the suggested restaurant (Millstone) was as excellent. Not only is there a very large 'living room', also the outdoor facilities are great. It is easy to go and play tennis, enjoy yourselves at the beach or to go for a rowing trip. To top it off the breakfast the next morning was delicious! Best stay during our vacation!!

Cons: There isn't really anything.

Pros: Exceptionally clean. Very warm, friendly, helpful staff

Pros: The friendliness of the staff. An unexpected pleasure happened when they translated their evening menu into Spanish so that my Latin girlfriend could understand it easier. No one has ever done that before now.

Cons: The keys! The key to our room was fastened to a large block of wood. It was difficult to slip it inside my pocket for easy transport.

Pros: We liked everything about our stay at King Hill Inn. Breakfast was delicious and sitting in the backyard enjoying the flowers and surroundings with a cup of coffee before breakfast and in the afternoon was the best. Yvonne's special attention was much appreciated.

Cons: No locks on the room doors.

Cons: Directions on booking site needs some correction. Difficult to locate at night.

Pros: Friendly, clean, delicious breakfast, beautiful grounds, relaxing, quiet.

Pros: Breakfast was delicious, the house was decorated beautifully. Everything was extremely clean. The owners Paul and Yvonne were so warm and welcoming. We just loved them.

Cons: I liked the common room and watched a movie with another couple staying at the Inn, there were no televisions in any of the bedrooms which I liked. The one TV available in the common room had a terrible picture. It's an inexpensive fix. We had a ball playing pool and cards. I feel bad writing anything negative because we would stay again in a heartbeat. Wonderful people!

Pros: Large comfortable bedroom. The breakfast was delicious. The owners Paul and Yvonne are cordial, welcoming, and delightful individuals!
