We got a deal for our stay, making the place affordable. We were impressed with the 1920's Jazz theme in the decor throughout the hotel. the staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel's location was quite convenient, near Grand Central Station and a short walk to Times Square. Would love to stay there again!

Pros (+) Location, location, location. If you plan on walking and using the subway to get around the city the hotel is perfect as a home base to come back to if need be.
Cons (-) Don't spend your time at the bar in the lobby...pretty pricey and you can just go to a hidden gem anywhere in the city. Also no room WiFi, but free in the lobby, so not too bad.

Cons (-) Me and my girlfriend arrived to the hotel at 6pm. Check in time was 4pm but we were told we still had to wait an additional 20 minutes for the key? I would've understood if it was a computer problem but I wasn't given a reason as to why I had to wait.

Pros (+) Our room was nicely decorated and was clean. We also liked the fact that the hotel had water and coffee in the lobby. The hotel is centrally located, which made getting around the city very easy.
Cons (-) The room was very small and it was difficult to maneuver around our one piece of luggage and each other in the bathroom. The wifi also wasn't secure.

Cons (-) Noise levels from road were quite loud. You can't sit in the bar area without buying a drink, even if you are a hotel patron. I had forgotten my phone charge and the hotel staff was not helpful in providing a temporary replacement, perhaps from lost and found. Instead I was referred to an overpriced in-house gift shop trying to sell me a micro-usb cable for 15-20$. Check-in is late at 4:00 pm. Roo...

Cons (-) No sound insulation in rooms near elevators (room near elevator was outrageously loud because of elevator mechanism and doors continuously opening and closing). They moved our room, but could be a problem if hotel is full.
