The studio rooms integrated with your two bedroom Suite
They didn’t clean the rooms each day. You could here the guest in the room adjacent to yours as if they were in the room with you. It was horrible.
Extra charges at the front desk. Would have collected everything right upfront during reservation.
The location is very near attractions, restaurants, and shopping. The appearance and furnishings are very modern.
The parking was limited. The lamps did not work and the air did not cool the room. The room was located next to the elevators and that noise kept us up at night.
Noisy rooms and lousy customer service.
Rooms were spotless and clean.
Some of the doors dividing room does have gaps underneath the permit sound to travel right through it. It's like living with another family in your room that you don't know. Front desk staff were poorly trained and didn't seem to know how to deliver customer service. This is definitely not a Diamond experience.
My best stay
Once we arrived we noticed clean, friendly, and very easy to get to.
Budget resort for families, but not really a hotel
Price, location, on-site deli.
Additional undisclosed resort fees even when rooms were prepaid. Internet service was good, but $5 per device per day. No housekeeping unless you are staying for more than one week. Littel to no concierge services. No business center or even minor services. Nickel and dime attitude and feel.
Great place. ..but
Everything was great once we got checked in.
They sent me an email to check in early. So I checked in the day before and let them know what time we would be there. It still took them about 5 hours to get a room cleaned for us. You'd think with them knowing what time time I was showing up they would let their cleaning staff know to have a room cleaned. That was my only complaint. Other wise great stay.
Had 2 roaches
Probably won't go back very small the sister grand villas across the street was better last visit
Very loud and cramped and found a couple of roaches, no room service either
Nice room, very clean.
Studio was fine, clean and comfortable. Easy access to the freeway. Didn't use any of the facilities such as the pool. No resort fee, and no parking fee is a big plus.
No elevators, so went back to the front desk for another room. No daily maid service, so bring your own coffee refills. No fridge.
It's a very nice place to stay. The resort is spacious and clean. Staff is very helpful. It's in the middle of everything! Price is very reasonable .
The volcano pool was pretty neat.
After we checked in at the front desk, we were immediately sent to the concierge for a "special gift". The "special gift" turned out to be a sales pitch for a timeshare. Really? We literally just flew in and we're anxious to begin our short weekend here. Our time is pretty valuable. No thanks. (Nothing in Kayak's description said anything about timeshare opportunity either....we just wanted a room for the weekend.) We stayed in a single room, but apparently that room was one half of a full suite. The door that separates the two rooms might as well have been made of paper so we felt like we were staying with strangers. Not only could we hear every conversation and what was on their TV, but they also felt compelled to do dishes at 1 A.M. every night. So getting sleep was a little rough. (I don't fault our neighbors for that....it's vacation...do what you want. The floorplan layout is awful.) Housekeeping never came for the 3 nights we stayed there. Normally I don't care about that, but our towels were never replaced. I did call for towels on the 3rd day and they asked what was wrong with our original ones. Umm...we used them...repeatedly. It was one of the cheapest "4-star hotel" so we went with it. In hindsight, I would have paid extra to stay somewhere else.
Cypress Pointe Resort is located in Orlando, Florida and is designed as the ultimate one-stop getaway for families. A full-blown resort property, it places travelers within minutes of Prime Outlets Orlando and other shopping destinations, the Landing at Disney Springs, the House of Blues, the Grand Cypress Golf Course, SeaWorld, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Walt Disney World, Universal Studios and more. Yet, as noted, it is a resort all on its own and could be a great destination for a family or group vacation.
After all, the list of amenities available is fairly astonishing. There is a massive pool facility with hot tubs and a sundeck along with several water slides and even a “volcano” fountain in the center. The property also has a poolside bar, fitness center, hot tub and jacuzzi area, tennis courts, miniature golf, a gaming area with table tennis and other activities, and even a billiard room (for a fee). There is a business service center, a mini market on the premises, several picnic and barbecue areas, free parking, a ticketing desk to save time at the local attractions, a tour desk, massage services (for a fee) and more.
The rooms are a good match to the rest of the property and feature separate living rooms and kitchens along with large bedrooms. There are king beds, entertainment systems with cable channels, phones with voicemail service, full-sized appliances, and large and private baths stocked with toiletries. Some rooms also have laundry facilities within them.
When you want a one-stop getaway in Orlando, consider the Cypress Pointe Resort is a good choice.
