Pros: The attention to detail was impeccable. A lot of thought had gone into providing the "little things" that make a big difference.

Pros: very comfortable, owners friendly and helpful. Family of 5 able to fit in one room which is very rare. Excellent idea for self service buffet breakfast especially when you have early flight.

Cons: No except hard to find in the dark.

Pros: The staff were very welcoming. very clean and beautiful scenery. Felt very relaxed.

Pros: I had only one night at the Radisson Blu but it was great. Dinner at the Italian restaurant was memorable - unusual, creative dishes. My room was, for me, very spacious and luxurious. The breakfast buffet was outstanding and had a wonderful assortment including fresh fruit salad, which is a rarity indeed. I had time to use the heated swimming pool.and enjoyed it very much. Then a quick but tasty lunch in the bar before departure. All the staff were excellent - friendly and helpful. I especially appreciated a late check out as well as a concierge facility that allowed me to leave a large suitcase both at no additional charge. I didn't mind paying for the excellent facilities and service. Well worth it.

Pros: Loved that there was an acrobat performing several times throughout the evening! Fantastic rooms and excellent service!

Cons: Restaurant prices were a bit high, also it would have been even more wonderful if he acrobat's performance times were posted somewhere so I could have timed my evening drinks in the bar accordingly. All around great experience though!

Pros: The hotel is very near to Stansted airport. There is a hotel shuttle at the airport. After 13 hours of long flight and reached UK at 8pm, it is very convenient to stay at the nearest hotel as it is only 5 minutes from the airport with comfortable and clean room.

Pros: Friendly and helpful staff. Checking was fast and efficient. There is a nice and relaxed atmosphere about the place. The restaurant catered very well for my dietary restrictions which usually is a struggle. The rooms are well-equipped, very clean and comfortable.

Cons: The website still shows sauna/swimming pool (to which I was greatly looking forward to) and these are no longer available. Also the television picture in our room kept breaking up and there was no engineer available to fix it.

Pros: Landlady was very kind and nice. She helped me get to the airport. The room was cosy and clean with a comfortable bed. I will definitely recommend this place.

Pros: It is in a nice little town, very easily walkable distance from the train station if you don't have a car. And the free ride to the airport in the morning is really great. The owner (very nice Polish woman whose name now escapes me) was great and let us print out our boarding tickets in her office even though we arrived very late that night.

Cons: It could use a couple £s worth of updating and rennovations, and some parts about the room we were in I just didn't understand. For example there was a tv and a water percolater, but no bedside lamp. Also bring earplugs; you can hear everything in this hotel. And if you need to use the upstairs shower....I Hope you're coordinated and about 3 feet tall. I don't want to be one of those people who complain at nit-picky things but I did feel that a few changes made to the b&b could vastly improve its quality and make it worth the price. Breakfast is available any time which is nice but its very bare bones. Overall if you need somewhere to crash for a night before leaving from Standsted its fine, longer would not be so pleasant in my opinion.

Pros: I booked this hotel for my son who was coming in late from Australia and flying on to Ireland the next day. The lady let him print out Ryanair Boarding card which I had also booked and call me in Ireland when he had a problem, all for a minimal charge. She then drove him to airport at no extra cost. Heartily recommend!!

My husband had a huge, beautifully cooked, hamburger. Breakfast was very good as well. We were on our way out of the country and it was a relaxing break in traveling. Cons: The hotel is currently being reburbished therefore there are work men around and heavy machinery. Not as quiet as you may like either due to this but due to the price we paid we were happy enough as the rooms were lovely and we were just sating for a wedding that evening away from the hotel . If I had paid full price as per their tarrif I think I would have been a little upset though!

Pros: The location was beautiful, the room was lovely, the bathroom was luxurious, the staff were friendly and noted our comments on departure. Would definitely stay there again.

Cons: Unfortunately under Stanstead flight path but we knew that. Air con not yet working in newly developed room so room was hot and opening door meant airplane noise was pretty loud, but these things would not prevent us staying there again. Few little improvements needed - no where to hang wet towels but they know this and will change. The 'great' far outweighed the 'development needs'.

Cons: Hotel wrote we must call from airport , and they will close 11pm. I arrived 10pm, I called 4times till 10:40, but never picked up phone even mobile phone number. I had to take taxi because they strictly said they close 11pm. When I arrive hotel, I complain that, he said ' why I didn't notice ringing phone ?? I don't know ,, I don't know ' like that. Hotel fee was included transportation ,but he didn't pay back also asked me normal price.

Pros: I was travelling from Stanstead Airport, however too far for me, however the owner was excellent, great location for the aiarport and good value.

Pros: It was ideal for what we wanted, to be near Stansted airport for an early morning flight the next day. We arrived at Stansted airport after having been in London all day and rang the contact number to arrange the free transfer. The man arrived on the hour as stated and took us straight to the Guest house. He was very pleasant and efficient. The room was clean and bright with complimentary tea and coffee. As we were leaving too early for the free transfer back to the airport he arranged a taxi to pick us up the next morning at 4.30 and it arrived 5 mins early!!!!! Fantastic location, room, value for money and service.

Cons: DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL or DeSalis. I have given fair (good) reviews to most of the hotels where I have stayed in the past. My reviews can be seen in Agoda, Booking, Kayak and I am a Platinum member with Marriott hotels. What did I not like about this hotel? I encountered the rudest and most disrespectful staff I've ever dealt with. As soon as I walked in the guy at the front desk yelled at my girlfriend and I for leaving the car parked (momentarily) in the only area available (we did this to confirm that we had a room before unloading our suitcases) If you're driving, bear in mind that the hotel has two decent parking spots, otherwise you'll end up leaving your car in the back of the building which seems dark and unsafe. The guy then said that he didn't see our reservation and sent us to a DIFFERENT HOTEL without even apologizing for the ordeal. The new hotel was called DeSalis and it was OK at first sight but we were given a nasty and old room in the back of the building. The room smelled like and old and humid warehouse. The bed was uncomfortable and you had to hold the shower with one hand as it wasn't attached to the wall. Further, we were told the restaurant closed at 11pm but we showed up at 10.35pm and they said that the kitchen was closed. Bear in mind that the closest restaurant is 15 minutes away from DeSalis. Outcome? We ate chips and drank cheap wine at 11.30pm in our nasty and uncomfortable room after driving 4 hours from Manchester. Overall, this was the worst experience I've ever had not with one but two hotels. I am sure other people have enjoyed their stays but I hope you guys keep in mind my comments if you want to avoid being THAT couple that doesn't their last night in such a lovely country! I want to leave on a good note so I will once again mention that both hotels are less than 8 minutes away from the aiport.

The room was clean and was more than adequate for our overnight stay. The fact that self-service breakfast was waiting from 4am meant we could have a quick bite to eat before leaving for the airport at 5am.
