Cons: Disadvantages: -staff misinformed us about time needed to get to the airport and we were rushing out at 04:00 in the morning without having possibility of taking breakfast which we have paid for. Too much focus is paid to shuttle bus connection when in fact it takes 5 minutes to go to the airport. We were 2.5 hours before our flight when we could have had breakfast in easy and relaxed way. Bad information from reception staff!

Pros: Excellent location close to airport. Very quiet and comfortable room with good shower. Complimentary breakfast was fine with good quality ingredients .On a freezing cold weekend, the hotel was very warm and cosy.

Cons: Whilst dinner was of acceptable quality, the menu was perhaps overpriced because of the captive market. I do resent paying £5.90 for a glass of not very good wine.

Cons: The bed in the first room they gave me apparently hadn't been changed from the last occupant since it contained several long black hairs. I asked for a different room and was given one, but this changeover ate into the five hours sleep I was already limited to and should not have been necessary.

Cons: We sat at the hotel restaurant table for 20 minutes without even being noticed by the staff. And oh yes, we tried everything except shouting. They just walked on by, so we left to dine elsewhere. The Internet tv image resolution was lousy and the tv channels did not show properly (antenna or cable defect?)

Pros: We arrived late and the staff were welcoming, friendly and gave an excellent service. Location very good. 24-hour bar a great asset.

Cons: Room was much too small, very clostrophobic. We stayed in room nbr 106 (ground floor), window faced the car park and we had no privacy - only if the curtains were drawn. Curtains were damaged and did not close properly. Price of gbp 79 far too high for these standards.

Cons: No obvious directions from the airport terminal to Ibis Hotel for guests not arriving by car. There is a regular bus service (stop en route to Parkway) but it isn't well promoted.

Pros: The hotel is in quite a good location for the airport although it did cost us £9 in an Uber to get to the airport the next morning. Continental breakfast was ok but we still had to eat at the airport as not much choice.

Cons: night staff on reception left us waiting for entry into the hotel, until he had finished a phone call. Barman ignored us when we tried to order food and drinks and served a customer who had obviously been in the bar all night giving tips to the staff! Night staff were very poor to say the least!

Cons: Paper thin walls between rooms. You could hear everything going on. Very poor breakfast that doesn't do justice to the Hilton brand. Surprisingly the breakfast was no better in quality over a premier Inn. Premier Inn comes out on top in terms of quietness. Their doors don't slam.

Pros: For the £65 I paid I wasn't expecting one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in and I include in this list some prestigious 4 and 5 star hotels and lodges. The room was large, well appointed, the bed supremely comfortable, the shower large and like standing under Niagara Falls and the free internet access and widescreen tv were an added bonus. We stayed in the hotel for dinner and were very impressed with the quality and value. Breakfast at £9.95 was also excellent. I cannot fault any aspect of this place and would highly recommend it to anyone. Let's hope that once the smell of fresh paint subsides the staff are equally enthusiastic.

Pros: good but too small room.there was no place to turn around in the room.the drininking water was charged 2.50 pounds a 350 or 500 ML bottle. this is the most expensive water I ever had in my life. there was no place to keep your clothes and no writing table. it was not worth for 123 pounds a night. one night stay it is ok but 4 or 5 night stay it is not a place recomended.

Pros: It is a smart, new & well furnished hotel.

Cons: The tv only had one channel & it was over 24hours before this was corrected.Also, and more seriously, because of alledged wiring problems the lights in the bathroom did not go out unless the "power card" was removed from the wall. This than meant all power to the room was switched off, including the air conditioning. I also advised reception on check out that this fault, which I understand is also in other rooms, could be a fire risk. Not good! There were also problems at breakfast with regards to quantity & quality of food as well as service.

Cons: When ordering dinner my starter failed to arrive with everone elses I was then informed that they had run out ! by the time I was told my party had finished theirs. When trying to order wine everything I chose was not available. One of my reasons for picking this hotel was to look at its suitability for hosting future conferences which I organise on a regular basis. Based on my experience I don't feel at present that I would be able to recommend that we use the hotel.

Pros: Every aspect was ideal for the peaceful, luxurious and celebratory stay for which we were looking.

Cons: The management of the restaurant seemed to leave something to be desired. Whilst the staff were pleasant, helpful and courteous, many of them appeared to be wandering around aimlessly as if they did not know what they were supposed to be doing. Further, there must surely be something to be said for guests to be allocated tables for the duration of their stay, rather that allocated haphazardly at each meal.

Pros: The hotel itself is grand and beautiful with lots of character. The staff were very friendly, the room was comfortable and the food was delicious. We loved pre dinner drinks and the atmosphere in the lounge with the fire burning. The swimming pool and sauna and steam room were great. The jacuzzi had the most powerful jets and we thoroughly enjoyed being the only guests that afternoon as they only just opened the pool. The walk around the hotel is lovely with the secret garden making it more attractive.
