hotel was very comfortable and i found all the staff there to be very friendly and helpful, which i find very important as i often travel alone. cannot compliment staff enough. lovely receptionist, guy in shop/bar was very pleasant and friendly and the lady that cleaned my room was lovely. well done all of you and thankyou.
Location Breakfast finishes too early
Kapetanios Bay Hotel is exceptional value for money and is conveniently located to the bars, restaurants and shops. The staff are friendly and speak very good English. The room was cleaned daily and the room which we stayed in overlooked the pool. Disappointed there was no wifi in the room.
good value for money, excellent staff very friendly , very clean, nice breakfast.
Located in central place. Very basic, need redecoration, should be careful of the swimming pool.
Basic but clean and in an excellent location
We liked the location of the hotel which was perfect. Walking distance to the beach (5 min.) and all other facilities (restaurants, bars, supermarket etc.). No need for a car or other transportation. It needs a renovation. The rooms are "ok" but they are old. Definitely need to change the windows and install double glazing. Also, in the one bedroom apartments, definitely need to install an Air condition in the kitchen-living room area, not only in the bedroom, because basically, the couch terns into bed and you have the children sleep there. It's too hot and moist not to have an a/c in both rooms.
Room was large and pleasant with aircon in the bedroom and a nice balcony. Very central with the beach, bars and restaurants all just 5 mins away and a taxi rank and bus stop at the door if you want to explore further The central locatiopn, while perfect for us, may be a bit loud for older guests of those who want a quieter holiday due to the proximity of the local pubs and bars
5 min to beach. Clean. Good equipped. Friendly staff. Location (as for all hotels there): no good food shops around (drive to Paralimni for Carrefoure supermarket) and noisy environment. Service: loundry was always closed with no info.
the staff, the barbecue party, the pool, the barman, George the breakfast
Fantastic apartment resort with swimming pool - walking distance of Macronissos and Fabulous Landa Beach. Loutsianna has everything you need Swimming Pool, Restaurant Bar and Supermarket all on site. But best of all and what made my stay special was the fantastic staff who were happy, great fun and always willing to help. Definately recommended and I will be back soon. A big thank you to all.
apartment was very nice
We like the area as it was near a beach & next to the Waterpark and is peaceful
*location right to one of the best waterparks..and also 3min away from nissi beach and 6 min away from the ayia nappa square(nightlife).* hotel appartement was big a and spacious.*minimarket/souvenir shop right insisde the hotel. paying extra for the aircondition.
food in bar was very good and value for money Very basic rooms.Need to be refurbished.
the rooms were clean and of a good size.swimming pool area was good and very clean.bar/restuarant staff very friendly.
ideal hotel, very clean, all staff are very helpful and polite. rooms have facilities for self catering, own balcony. swimming pool is clean and big, also small pool for children. reception manned 24 hours. local bus service outside hotel, beach across the road. the only thing we didnt like about our stay was having to leave and go home
There we're 2 female managers at the reception desk which we're really helpful. This brighten up our day, and made the whole experience better. Also the hotel is pretty cheap 1. no hot water all the time, sometimes just mild, or even almost straight cold water. 2. a male reception guy which wasn't nice. 3. the hotel was pretty far from agia napa, but the map, shown at your site was a bit deceiving - we understood how far it is only when we got there. Maybe it's our fault, maybe the site's. 4. the room was pretty stuffy, no air flow if we close the door (which is a shame - because there is a window right next to the door - if we could have opened it it would air the room. but the window wasn't designed to be open.) also the site shows there's A/C in the room, but doesn't state it costs extra, and that the A/C is shut down at 16:00(!!). at 16:00 it's still very hot!
Quite and self catering I wished if they did not charge for any additional service such as the Air conditioning (6 Euros additional ) jaccuzzi (additional).
It has a very chilled out, friendly and relaxed atmosphere. I liked the fact you don't have to dress up while in the hotel...you can go from your room to the pool or beach and back in your swimmers!! It's a nice easy walk to the night life and restaurants of Ayia Napa. The beach is great. Although its beautifully clean and the rooms are bright, breezy and well appointed, it's quite an and old hotel and shows it's age in some areas. It's not 5 star compared to international stantard but charges as such.
Hotel has really excellent seaside location with true sandy beach. The strong point is for sure very good, helpfull staff. The quality of restaurants is not 5 stars
cuisine, cost effectiveness, clear beach, good services Though according to conditions of booking prepayment should not be taken, I was charged at the moment of booking a hotel; the hotel is very old, many things in the room are broken and it is impossible to improve them ( f.ex. bathroom equiment)
Poor service for 5 star.
I loved it!
the beach and the sea. cleaning the room more efficient (there were ants and bugs in the bathroom) and changing the air-conditioning system -in my room (110) I felt daily smell from the kitchen
The smile of the cleaners Yes. 1. Required reservation for swimming pool. 2. Charged 10.7 euro per day for the breakfast of a 2 year old boy. 3. Whereas on your page it os stated check out time 12:00 - 15:00 they demanded check out at 12:00 sharp claiming that it is subject to availability. Subject to availability is not stated on your web page. 3. Poor selection for breakfast. Poorer than 4 and even 3 star hotels we have stayed in spain, poland, brussels etc
Excellent location on the seaside, clean and spacious rooms and hotel territory, good sandy beach and large swimming pool. Hotel's equipment (e.g. key-opened safe locker, hairdryer) and furniture are in not excellent condition, food in the restaurants is good, but not delicious.
perfect beach; not far from city center (max 15 min); shopping/ touristic area starts just outside the hotel; good restaurants
The Grecian Bay has all the facilities you could need for a nice holiday, in a very good location. The food is one of the restaurants was of a very low standard and there was drilling outside our bedroom early in the morning which was really loud and annoying!
The best thing about this hotel was it's location. Short distance walking to the beach - the center of ayia napa, the ayia napa port and only 10mins away from protaras. The food in the restaurants was very disappointing. When we expressed our opinion to one of the waiters they were rather rude. Breakfast was relatively fine. The swimming pool does not provide you with enough sunbeds therefore we were not able to use the swimming pool. I was charged for a small bottle of water 1EUR the one day and 1.25EUR the other day.
the hotel was perfectly located and right on the beach. the room was comfortable enough. the hotel staff can improve their customer service. not one smile was offered by the receptionist when we first arrived. breakfast room service was served cold
I prefer to have the seacost cleaner.
The personnel was very pleasant, kind, always with a smile on their face, ready to help you. We leave it on everyone’s judgment to decide if this is a 5 star hotel! Mislead by the average total grade of the hotel. Compared to the Four Seasons Hotel in Lemesos, & other 5 star hotels this should maximum have 3 stars. Strongly not recommended for a stay due to the following: 1) Waiting every morning for apprx. 20 minutes to find seat for breakfast 2) The swimming pool(only some meters long) is suitable for a small apartment complex 3) Broken lift 4) Expensive, E.G. a bottle of water 500ml costs €4,5 while at the same time a supermarket near sells 12 500ml bottles for €3,5 only! 5) Hotel internal areas are small 6) Difficult to find dinner seat as well as sun bed during the day 7) Carrying your bags from underg. parking only by stairs
Location was very good and we were attending a wedding at the hotel. The staff at reception were extremely helpful and professional. The porter was very helpful and very willing to assist us. Cleaning staff were quiet rude at time of check out.
free WiFi in lobby, breakfast not to charge for WiFi in rooms, indoor swimming pool
Stunning location on the beach, excellent facilities, and friendly staff.
I liked the fact that the hotel was so close to the wonderful beach. The hotel staff was excellent. The breakfast was wonderful, many things to choose from. Clean and tidy. The room was big enough. There was a water leak in the bathroom. We had asked for maintenance which was sent immediately. We had left the room while they were fixing it. When we got back the bathroom was dirty, obviously because of the maintenance and the problem was not fixed! We kept quiet about it because we didn't want to ruin our vacation. The pool was tiny for 5 star hotel but we didn't mind, we had the beach!
The receptionist (whose name I have forgotten unfortunately) was a most helpful woman who arranged for our transport to Larnaca after our shuttle to Larnaca failed to come.
The hotel staff was amazingly kind and polite all the time! Also the hotel manager upgraded our room free of charge.
The staff were really friendly and helpful from befor I arrived and even after I had checked out
The location was good as well as the pool and terrace area were great. The staff were also helpful when asked. The hotel does not reflect the 5* category. The quality of the funiture in guest rooms, furnishings and the general decor of the hotel is old and outdated. One would expect more quality design in a 5* hotel. Though the General Manager who is a professional person explained that the hotel's refurbishment is based on customer wants and demands.
Very friendly and helpful staff - nice pool area None
Very nice hotel, good value for money. I definitely recommend it.
clean room, friendly staff, air condition works fine; far enough from noizy discos, so you have all chances to fall asleep early in the night. bathroom equipment is very old, especially not comfortable for shower, but anyway clean enough; there are the same breakfast dishes every morning, no variety, also there was no green tea and limes/lemons; as for location, there is no straight path to the beach, so you have to walk long curves; lots of russians (if it matters); as for money, i'v been expecting more than i got (I suppose the problem is that the Cyprus is extremely expensive by itself, so it results in high rates for the hotels)
The swimming pool area with its colourful gardens, the view of the room, the barbeque night and the breakfast.
the friendliness of the staff and the rooms the swimming pool
the pool, the sea view
The hospitaly and staff friendliness.
place is very beutiful location is excellent
Excellent location. Quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The food was quite good and the rooms were very clean.
Jenny is the best manager
food was excellent, air con was to a very high standard, I asked for a room upgrade and i got it, the bed was huge! choice of tv channels too poor, radio didnt work, breakfast finished too early, some of the food orders werent right, although still delicious
Room was big. Room was old, sheets were clean but old. Some of the staff was unfriendly and biased towards nationalities. No WiFi in the room as promised. Was charged by minibar items I did not use - be careful when removing items from the minibar and placing them somewhere else. I needed some space in the refrigirator.
our room was upgraded to sea view with no extra charge, the room was clean and the food was very good in a very good price, the beach infront of the hotel was perfect the cypriot greek night
The staff were very friendly and hospitable and the location of the hotel was excellent.
Swimming pool was closed by 18:00
The location of the hotel was great. All the services and staff were very friendly and helpful. We had the best room (we think) the view was amazing. We would have preferred a double or queen size bed.
Very god location worn out rooms, needs renovation to be forur star !
Very good quiet location, nice beach, good breakfast and pool bar, tea/coffee maker. Free wi-fi (but only in lobby). Vatiety of dishes at International night buffet.
Friendly staff , excellent food, overall excellent hotel.
They gave me a bottle of wine for my birthday and I did not tell them it was my birthday. I need a plaster for my nail that had broken and they never had one.
i did like the stuff they were very much co-operative and helpful i really thank to them for their cooperation with me. and specially for the booking.com who were very fast in sending them fax or informing the hotel. i really loved fast service of booking.com The owner of the hotel was not co-operative with us.
Good family hotel, run by a Romanian family. Very friendly staff. A 3-minute lecture about hotel's rules that you should listen on reception prior check in and a dozen of sideboards with printed rules hanging everywhere in outside and inside area of this small hotel. Seems that they once suffered from a company of some naughty tourists or smth.. Anyway it was not disturbing, but rather funny.
Too noisy, no way to sleep!!!
Pleasant family run small hotel, good buffet breakfast with choice of various teas, coffee or drinking chocolate. Nice swimming pool & sun bathing area. Hotel is on the outskirts of Ayia Napa off the main road, so fairly quiet. 5 minutes by car to sandy Nissi Beach, shops & restaurants & approx. 10 minutes into central Ayia Napa.
