10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was super friendly. The place is absolutely charming, loved the animals, the food, hot tub and comfortable rooms.
Cons: The only thing I didn't like was that I could only spend one night at this hotel since I was driving around... Next time I'll make sure staying longer
9.0 Excellent
Pros: hot water bath taps, food: excellent - home made, nature around
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The farm/hotel was truly special. From the spectacular scenery, the comfort of the room, the hot pot, the open fire, the food, the very helpful staff. Everything was really enjoyable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Convenient location. Excellent restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Animals were fun. Great staff, especially Heidi. Loved the hot tub too.
Cons: Room was rather small.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was great, very cozy room but very small. The restaurants food was delicious and the staff very friendly. Had a fire pit, hot tubs etc. The pictures are realistic so you will have the right idea of what you are getting.
Cons: The room was cozy but very small. We were 3 people 2 adults one child and all our bags filled the room which almost left us with no space to move. We did not like the room decoration it was a bit too much with all the Christmas decor and little items on the windows which kind of made it a little tacky (and we love Christmas). To look out the window I almost nocked down some of the items. Less is more. But the room was very cozy.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Bath robes provided for the natural hot tub!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location. Great service.
Cons: No kettle. They have a coffee machine to dispense hot water though.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location at the foot of the mountain (there's a hiking route leaving féin the hotel), welcoming staff, very cosy and beautiful room with a comfortable bed and nice views. Well-functioning shower (sometimes it's complicated to adjust water pressure and temperature in Iceland) and plenty of towels, bathrobes and slippers to borrow, hot tubs for the free use of clients. Really good and varied breakfast (try breakfast cake with skyr!). It's also possible to have dinner at the restaurant; menu is a bit limited but food is delicious.
Cons: The room is a bit noisy if the neighbours decide to party, and there's not a lot of space for luggage.

Pros: Luxurious recently renovated hotel in a small rural Icelandic village with hotsprings and beautiful countryside nearby. The concierge was very friendly and chatted to us for a while in the morning.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very helpful. We loved the hot tub!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is new and well located between Reykjavik and the Snaefellsnes peninsula. The staff is really a plus in this hotel, it worths in particular to mention the help of Benedict, a very friendly and good Icelander. Thanks again for the precious tips and good luck for next northern lights hunting.
Cons: The hotel has three hot tubes but their use requests that the guests should have a shower in their rooms and walk in bathrobe the long corridor (with a section outside). This is not very practical, especially in winter time.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel Husafell is beautiful and run with perfection! The food is amazing, truly! The hot pools are incredible. And the location is stunning! Wonderful experience and the destination alone was worth the trip to Iceland! A real gem!
Cons: Perfect in every way!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is the complete package. On a small rise, the architecturally designed building has huge windows, lots of light and amazing views. Rooms are well appointed with tea/coffee making and mini fridges. Local art in rooms and all public areas. The excellent restaurant (a la carte and tasting menu) has a fireplace and floor to ceiling windows. The property is large and incorporates a snack bar (think ice cream), "roadhouse-style" restaurant (awesome lunch buffet), 4 pool spa (free for hotel guests), golf course (exec), camp ground and gas pumps. The only think missing is a local handicraft shop in the hotel. This is not a chain hotel and absolutely worth every penny.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and luxurious. Nice location. Friendly staff.
Cons: The room was a bit cold.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: If you like being away from it all. Husafell is the place for you, rugged and remote but with a touch of luxury
Cons: Rooms could be a little bigger
8.0 Excellent
Pros: great outdoor pools, great breakfast, great location for outdoor activities
Cons: It is not optimal for aurora watching as there are too many lights all around and there is no fast exit out of the room to be on continuous watch (the aurora call did not work, but fortunately we were on the watch ourselves so we could see them). There are hardly any restaurants nearby and the restaurant in the hotel is very pricey (particularly for vegetarian dishes overpriced).
7.0 Good
Cons: Due to bad weather I woke up with no electricity or running water. You would think for such a high rated hotel they would have a generator to deal with this. The hotel staff was very nice and accommodating throughout the issue.

Pros: Helpful and kind stuff, amazing view, cannot wait to visit this place again.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Our hosts Sigrún and Olafur are just perfect. Superb location of this guesthouse.
6.3 Good
Cons: the reception lady, I guess she is the owner, makes you feel she is the house owner while not the guest house manager. ( hope you can feel the difference between these.)
9.2 Excellent
Cons: The staff is amazing.. Kind, funny and always available!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great communication with the owner as she helped with a room that had a double bed. We served dinner in the evening and that was ok.
Cons: It is a bit different if you have your own food as you are not allowed in the dining room on the ground floor. You need to ask the owner to store the food in the fridge for you. The last part of the road to the guesthouse is quite bad - be careful!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The room, bedsheet was very clean. Very cozy setting.
Cons: Kitchen only available with certain room type.
