The Advenire is the place I stayed on my first visit to St. George, and the hotel’s charm is one of the reasons I enjoyed my trip so much.

The decor is what immediately made me love the property. It combines the area’s pioneer history with modern touches. The hotel also has thoughtful and unique amenities like the bike service pick up, which provides basic bike services for guests. Just make sure to book the service in advance. There’s also an incredible on-site restaurant, ‘Wood. Ash. Rye’, a fitness centre, and an outdoor whirlpool.

One of the best boutique hotels in St. George, take a stroll outside the Advenire, and you’ll find plenty of lovely coffee shops, restaurants, and stores. It’s also conveniently located less than an hour from Zion National Park, Snow Canyon State Park, and the Tuacahn Center for the Arts.

Inn on the Cliff is one of the best luxury hotels in St. George. As its name indicates, it’s located on a cliff overlooking the city, which boasts a picture-perfect view. The pool area has the same stunning vista, so it’s a prime spot to hang out, relax, and enjoy the scenery.

I particularly love Inn on the Cliff’s breakfast delivery service, where my food was brought to my room so I could enjoy it on my balcony. It was a suitably leisurely way to start the day before jumping into sightseeing.

Speaking of food, Cliffside Restaurant, which is located right next to the inn itself, serves excellent new American cuisine – I highly recommend the seafood and pasta.

This is one of the best hotels in St. George for anyone travelling on a budget. It’s also ideal for families, as St. George Inn & Suites has family suites that fit up to six people. There are, of course, also smaller room options for couples and solo travellers.

The hotel offers plenty of practical amenities, including on-site laundry and a free hot breakfast each morning. Every room also comes with a coffee maker, microwave, and mini fridge.

St. George Inn & Suites boasts a prime location within the city. Just a short drive away you’ll find spots like The Tuacahn Center for the Arts (tip: don’t miss the Saturday market if you’re in town on a weekend), the city’s downtown area, and unique shopping spots like Annie’s Vintage Garden and Coyote Gulch Art Village.

Composed of several condos and surrounded by views of gorgeous red cliffs, the Inn at Entrada is a small resort in a gated community. The property is stunningly picturesque, full of cacti, ponds with ducklings, and tinkling fountains.

One of the best hotels in St. George, staying at the Inn at Entrada is like living at a country club for a few days. The pools and jetted tubs on the property are amazing, and there’s an award-winning golf course right on site.

The resort is located less than three miles from Snow Canyon State Park, as well as many excellent hiking and biking trails. When you get back from your outdoor excursions, I recommend relaxing by the pool before enjoying a meal at the excellent hotel restaurant, The Grille at Entrada.

If you’re looking for a long-stay option, this is one of the best hotels in St. George to book. Here you can get an extended stay room for an affordable price, and it comes equipped with a kitchen with a full-sized refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker – so you can cook as if you were at home.

The rooms are also supremely comfortable, and there’s on-site laundry, a 24-hour convenience store, and a communal area where you can mingle with other guests. My Place Hotel is close to attractions like the Red Hills Desert Garden (an interactive desert garden and a personal favourite), St. George Children’s Museum, and Pioneer Park, which has a wide range of incredible hikes.

La Quinta Inn & Suites is a popular and respected hospitality chain. It may not have the frills and extra amenities of a luxury resort, but you can always count on this brand to provide excellent customer service.

The hotel was recently renovated and, in addition to being spotless, the rooms are large with high ceilings. La Quinta offers a free breakfast buffet and free parking, and it has a heated outdoor pool and hot tub (perfect for winter visits), as well as a gym and meeting space. It’s also pet-friendly.

The property is set in a great location: you’ll find attractions such as Red Cliffs National Conservation Area, the St. George Dinosaur Discovery Site, and several local art museums just a short drive away.

If you’re looking for a good deal, Tru by Hilton is one of the top hotels in St. George. Best of all, you won’t have to sacrifice the cleanliness, quality, and customer service associated with Hilton properties.

Centrally located seven miles from the city centre, Tru by Hilton is right off the city’s main highway (I-15), so you’ll have easy access to places like Dixie Convention Center, Snow Canyon State Park, and Tuacahn Center for the Arts (try to catch a concert there if you can).

It’s also only about an hour’s drive from Zion National Park, which makes for an easy day trip. There are plenty of great shops and restaurants right by the hotel, too. Back at Tru by Hilton, you can enjoy amenities like the fitness centre, outdoor pool and hot tub, foosball tables, and pool tables.

Another tried and true chain that can be counted among the best hotels in St. George, the Hampton Inn & Suites has spacious, clean, and comfy rooms. The staff and wonderful customer service really stood out to me at this hotel; everyone I encountered was eager to help.

The hotel offers a free hot breakfast, free parking, and EV charging. The indoor pool and fitness centre are both excellent, but my favourite spot has to be the outdoor patio’s hot tub and fire pit – the perfect place to end the day.

Hampton Inn & Suites is also an hour from Zion National Park, but there are plenty of nearby outdoor activities, trailheads, and golf courses to enjoy, all located within 10 minutes of the hotel itself.

Sand Hollow Resort is technically 25 minutes from St. George proper, but it’s such a special place that I couldn’t leave it off the list. It’s well worth the drive, trust me!

If you want to stay in a state park minus the whole camping part, Sand Hollow Resort is calling your name. With 73 guest rooms, you can simply step outside and practice your swing at the Sand Hollow Golf Course, or drive less than five minutes to get full access to the park.

One of the best hotels in St. George and the surrounding area, rooms are lovely, and each has either a private balcony or a private patio where you can relax and take in the scenery and peaceful atmosphere of the resort.

Located in a historic home originally built in 1873, The Mulberry Inn is a personal favourite of mine. The Mulberry Inn has just seven rooms, each with its own theme. The suites, which are named after literary characters including Elizabeth Bennett, Sherlock Holmes, and Jo March, are meant to 'tell a story', and the atmosphere of each room is adjusted according to its theme. Unsurprisingly, book lovers adore this hotel.

This bed and breakfast is located in a quiet neighbourhood, but it’s right across the street from Ancestor Square, which has excellent shops, art galleries, and food options. It’s also within walking distance of popular attractions and activities like Pioneer Courthouse, Green Gate Village, Town Square Park, and the shops on Main Street.
