Car hire at Saint Peter Jersey Airport

Based on the experience of so many travellers who have booked their car from Saint Peter Jersey Airport, we have decided that Hertz is a recommended company to deal with. The friendly staff are always ready to assist in making the process as quick and stress free as possible, while you'll find there are hardly ever waiting periods during the collection or drop-off processes.

There are ferry services available that can transport vehicles, which might sound like fun, but unfortunately, you are not allowed to take hire vehicles to another island. When you arrive at the ferry, the car will be checked for the owner's papers. They will then know you are in a hire car and won’t allow you onto the ferry with the vehicle.

You are allowed to hire a car from the age of 21 years old and need to have held your driver's licence for at least one year. However, if you wish to hire a premium car, you must be older, depending on the category of car you wish to hire. For example, large SUVs and luxury vehicles demand a certain amount of driving experience to be confidently driven correctly. If you are a young driver wishing to hire a luxury car, you will likely be charged a young driver fee. The cut-off age for car hire is generally 89 years old.

On average a car hire at Jersey Airport costs £46 per day.

Car hire companies that offer shuttle or pick-up services from Jersey Airport to off-airport locations include Avis, Budget, Hertz, and Europcar.
