I liked it it was close to the airport inconvenient for us to catch a flight

no elevator to the second floor

Cleanliness

Availability of basic toiletries(toothbrush and toothpaste) and no food on property site

Staff was disinterested in providing good service.

Swimming pools are great with the view of the sunset.

They have 5 restaurants and not a great selection on the menu and very pricey. You need a car if you're going to stay at that the Frenchman's reef. Average price for a taxi was anywhere from $8 to $14. Luggage is $4 a piece.

The view and sea breeze were wonderful and service and accommodation was great

The restaurant was excellent. View of the harbor from every seat of this open air place. Even at the bar: the bartender's area was sunken to allow for better views. We were there at dusk, and watched as the daylight view of sailboats and a cruise ship turned into a sea of twinkling lights. Staff very friendly and helpful. One of the best Sunday brunches I've ever had. Easy taxi ride from airport and to ferry.

Since it is on a mountainside, there are a lot of stone steps to negotiate. No elevators, which makes it difficult if you have a lot of luggage, as we did. We only stayed one night, but I would have rented a car if we were staying longer, as it is too far to walk to town. Bedroom was small but comfortable. I would have preferred one with a view. Pool was small, and in view from the bar.

Liked the view from our waterfront room, convenience of all inclusive, and the staff was good, but it being off season, seemed to be sometimes a bit short on availability.

The food quality was very average. If you are used to eating out above a standard sit down chain (ruby tuesday's, applebees, fridays) you are not going to be impressed with the dinners. Lunch was generally pretty good with some fresh fish, and sometimes cold shell fish. Breakfast was decent, but i have definitley seen better spreads (i get the impression again this was off season, so not their best). The room was very nice, but there were bathrooms in the pool area and other areas that you just felt like they needed refreshed (rust stained urinals, and non working hot water in the mens room, and rusty light fixtures)

Resort was pretty

Service was the worst ever. They ran out of liquor the ran out of steak knives They ran out of milk. The did not bring coffee cups when bringing a pot of coffee from room service They ran out of beach towels by 11am every day. The beach was not really a beach... you needed water shoes to even get in the water and loads of sea urchins. Pool closed at seven every night Not much for entertainment. Very hard to get off resort unless you wanted to pay 50 buck a couple to go anywhere.

I was very impressed with the service and genuine pleasantness of all of the staff my new wife and I interacted with. The spa was absolutely fabulous.

I was a little underwhelmed by the restaurant at the hotel, but I'm grasping at straws at that point.

Restaurant personnel unfriendly. Beach awful

The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The amenities and number of activities you can do on site was great. The restaurants were par. ok food, nothing to write home about. The views were beautiful and the facilities were clean.

The water pressure in our shower was sub par and it made for cleaning off after the beach difficult. The carnival night which was advertised as very fun and a great time was not really all that exciting. I probably would have found something better to do with my evening had I known.

Location for business is good. That's it!

The bathroom was yucky. In fact I did not use it..it was that bad. A/c was noisy. The hotel has again gone to the dogs over the years. I would not ever stay here again being on the main street it's is noisy and I am sure in this day and age they can make the rooms quiter.

Bunker Hill is located in the town near shopping and restaurants and is good value for the money. It is not a luxury or beach front hotel, but is conveniently located in the town. The rooms are adequate, wifi is available, the staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good. It is very acceptable as an 1 or 2 day stay in the town.

Rooms were a bit outdated and there are no elevators to the top floors.

The Location Is Horibble

Great staff. Great beach. Good food and drinks. The rooms were nice and clean. We really enjoyed our stay and would return again.

The beachfront location was outstanding. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

The room was fairly Spartan. The bed was uncomfortable. The water from all the taps was brown with rust. The air conditioning unit worked, but it sounded like a turbo prop was touching down in our room.

The lady that runs it is incredible! Also, pool, wifi, kitchen in room, amazing balcony view...I could go on....!

This hotel, although conveniently located near the airport and marina, is up a rather large hill...we often walked down (and many times, someone would give us a ride), but we took a taxi up at night...$5/pp. Definitely not a deal breaker...

Friendly staff

Way to high on the mountain, and getting bit up by bugs.

It was clean, staff was friendly, view is fantastic.

Nothing was free, not even entrance to magens beach. The prices quoted by the lobby were always different to the actual prices charged ie taxis, tennis court, beach.... the beach is not just fown the road as stated but a really steep and dangerous walk

i had an awesome stay...the only set back was no front desk service after 6pm

For this price, I was expecting a 3.5 star rating resort. The view was great from the balcony (B-17) and the inside was spacious, but the restroom had ants and no toiletries (shampoo & conditioner). I was afraid from earlier reviews about bed bugs, but did not seem to have any problems. I was just put off by the old furnature and such.

The location was great. Easy access to shopping district. Staff was nice and helpful.

The towels weren't so clean but good thing I brought my own. Didn't like that the hotel was open on the middle so when it rain the steps and everything got wet which could be dangerous if you're leaving your room. No elevators.

It was clean and the air conditioning worked. Walk to downtown Charlotte Almalie.

It was very old, outdated and need renovations. The neighborhood was kind of edgy.

Beach.

We found our hotel room (119) less than desirable. There were flourescent lightbulbs, no screen on the door to the balcony overlooking the parking lot. The furniture was dated, and the staircase to reach our room was dark and unlit in the early evening.

The beachside restaurant was great. The pool was lovely and the staff were very accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.

location was ok but neighborhood a bit sketchy. staff was super friendly. took me to airport. super nice people. no problems with that.

well....sheets were dirty (hair), shower didnt really work and drain clogged. just sort of dirty. look, i didnt want to spend much cause it was a layover for me. i took the money that i would have spent at an upgrade place and spent it on beer and food down at Pi Hole!
