Pros (+) Great located hotel with lovely & welcoming staff. Very homely b&b with nice furnishings in the public areas. Breakfast choices were superb. I had full English one morning & finnan haddock & poached eggs on another. Amazing! My partner LOVED the gated lift
Cons (-) Although beautifully clean, Rooms felt cramped. too much furniture - trouser press & hair dryer fixed to walls. Too much furniture really as well. A small chest of drawers would have been fine instead of a vanity table. Perhaps a neutral colour scheme would have made a big difference, such as in the breakfast room? Floor boards throughout the hotel were unforgiving. Creaky & squeaky.
