Booked online for a very small Citroen at 12pm. Arrived and the agent was gone for lunch until 2pm. I know this is typical in France, but should not have allowed pick up at 12 if not there. Also, they would only allow us to take a large Volvo, which was very hard to park throughout Europe, and of course more expensive. Would appreciate more transparency.Reviewed 10 Oct 2024

Pick up is confusing, nobody there to go over the rental car for previous damage, and the same at drop off. I had to take lots of pictures and got accused of having a rock chip in windshield, witch was there before I took possession. I have no intentions to rent from Sixt ever again. The rental car had lots of previous damage and should have been repaired before it got brought back to the rental fleet. The drop off was complicated moving the charges to another credit card despite our telling them our intentions before we took the car and as we dropped it off. It required a manager and quite a bit of time. Fortunately, we didn’t miss our flight but it was close despite the extra time we allocated and TSA-Pre.Reviewed 2 Oct 2024

Our flight was delayed and we arrived after midnight. There was no way for us to get our vehicle that I had paid for in advance. So I paid for an extra day plus I had to pay for an Uber back and forth from the airport to the rental agency. Both Sixt and Kayak should post the hours of the agency so those of us traveling know not to rent from an agency that does not have a plan for rental car pickup after hours.
