Pros (+) We stayed in Stevens House. The rooms were very nice. We enjoyed the parlor with fireplace and big screen. The kitchenette was great and had everything we needed . The location is good for a nice walk around town or a game of tennis.
Cons (-) The lack of a breakfast option. There really aren't many alternatives in the town either. We didn't have children along , but there isn't much for them to do in town IMO.
Pros (+) We had come specifically to attend programs at Tanglewood & maybe some things extra. We went to the Norman Rockwell Museum and two galleries nearby. We had coffee & breakfast in, picnic lunches, and dinners at the Inn. The meal food & service are excellent & my companion has food allergies. Cons (-) We were in Steves' House, not the primary inn. It turned out to be a delight. It is a half block away. There was a small, but fully efficient kitchen, with ice machine & coffee maker. The tennis courts were across the street. I grew up less than 45 minutes away, but hadn't stayed for at least 20 years.
