Service was outstanding. Comfortable bed. Delicious breakfast. We celebrated my husband’s birthday there and couldn’t have been happier with the way we were welcomed
Beautiful historic building. The bed was very comfortable. Excellent linens. The bathroom was large. Great shower pressure.
The staff seemed to be completely uninterested or incapable of answering questions or providing the kind of service one expects when staying in a luxury hotel. No one greeted us or offered any information. It makes me question the management and what the working conditions are like. Also, the breakfast and food in general was really expensive and poor quality when compared to the excellent level of food to be found around Tel-Aviv. Do yourself a favor and reserve a table at Mashya for breakfast. There is no beach entrance in the winter, which was not mentioned when we booked the hotel. In general, everyone working there seemed really unhappy and if you are someone who is sensitive to human energy, I wouldn’t recommend staying there.
Location is the only good thing about this hotel.
The cleaning staff are incompetent and leave rooms dirty and without replacing towels or loo roll. The management yell at their staff - maybe because they don't clean very well? The breakfast (I ordered something, not the buffet) was cold and completely undercooked. Staff were clueless and indifferent. The hotel is long overdue a refurb. This hotel would struggle to be 3 star, let alone 5. Clearly being managed into the ground. Avoid.
Use of the king david lounge. Bell hops are friendly and helpful.
The room Reno is poor design. Lots of extra wood cabinetry with no purpose and not appealing visually. Can't view the city as bed and tables in the way of window. Get better room designers.
Great location, really nice size rooms
The staff were ok but not really attentive, the rooms and amenities are nice but a little “frayed around the edges” which I did not expect from one of the flagship Dan hotels. The carpet was bumpy, the guttering round the pool broken in places, just lack of care.
Sitting along the Mediterranean Sea in the heart of Tel Aviv, Dan Tel Aviv is a famous and impressive hotel. It is on Hayarkon Street, making it a good base from which to explore the city on foot, visiting such neighborhoods as Jaffa, Dizengoff Square, and Frishman Beach. Popular destinations within minutes of the hotel include the Itzhak Rabin Memorial, Tel Aviv Museum of Art, Bauhaus Foundation, the Tel Aviv Marina, and the seemingly endless array of shops, cafes, and sites that fill the city. Ben Gurion International Airport is less than ten miles away.
A full-service hotel, it features two swimming pools open all year, a modern fitness center, a full spa, business service center, children’s activities and care, an executive lounge, 24-hour front desk, concierge services, a currency exchange, tour desk, shuttle services (for a fee), onsite shops, hot tub, an inhouse restaurant with daily breakfast service, live music in the bar each evening, direct beach access, parking (for a fee), laundry and dry cleaning, and room service options.
The 280 rooms range from standards with or without views to luxury suites. All rooms include free Wi-Fi, laptop connections at the work desks, cable TV, phone service with voice mail, mini bars, in room safes, high-end entertainment systems, spa toiletries, luxury linens, a work desk, radio, and climate controls. Whether visiting Israel on business or pleasure, the Dan Tel Aviv is a good choice.
