Called Thrifty a week before our trip and asked there’ll be a charge for my wife to drive. Said no if she was avAAA member. Looked on Google with the same question and got the same answer. Picked up car and got charged $180 extra. Said we would have had to rent the car through AAA for my wife to drive for free. Was not told this when talked with Thrifty customer service.
