Pros: Location was very convenient to Marien Platz, Hoffbrau Haus and city market. Staff was very courteous and helpful.
Cons: The only complaint we had was not being able to lower the thermostat setting in our room.
Pros: The location, staff and cleanliness were fantastic. The rooms were actually larger than I expected.
Cons: Beds were too hard.....but it seems most Euro branded hotels are thus way.
Platzl Hotel offers a fantastic location, putting you just a 5-minute walk from Marienplatz and Hofbrauhaus. Guests can visit the health club for a workout or grab a bite to eat at Restaurant Pfistermühle, one of 2 restaurants, which serves regional cuisine and is open for lunch and dinner. Pros: Convenient location near train station, cleanliness, relaxed atmosphere.
A unique and intimate family-run hotel, the beautiful Hotel Excelsior offers an experience of contrasts and surprises. The hotel has an unmistakable Bavarian feel about it - classic interiors reflect true regional style with extravagant and ornate ironwork, pastel friezes and antlers adorning the walls. This theme is completed beatifully by classic, elegant rooms (with sky TV free of charge), where guests can relax in tasteful and ambient surroundings, as well as the hotel's famous wine restaurant, Geisel's Vinothek, with its unusual Italian theme.
Pros: Hotel is beautiful, upscale, modern and comfortable.
Location is top rate, directly across from the virtualize markt.
The staff was very friendly - though they seemed to have some issues which I suspect are from the hotel being rather new.
Cons: Staff needs to be better trained in restarting the room with amenities. Coffee, sugar, other items were often not re-supplied.
Room heating system failed while we were there; howevet, hey did supply us with a portable heater that worked well,
Pros: Balcony, accommodating staff.
Cons: When I had asked if I could check in 2 hours early, they said yes. When I arrived it turned out this was not possible. Which would have been fine if I wasn't am traveling for 10 hours and if everything in Munich wasn't closed on Sunday's.
Pros: Great location. Great staff. Awesome fitness center.
Located in Altstadt-Lehel, this eco-friendly hotel is within a 10-minute walk of Viktualienmarkt, Marienplatz, and New Town Hall - Glockenspiel. Hofbrauhaus and Asamkirche are also within 10 minutes.

There's an indoor pool and a bar/lounge, and rooms at this upscale hotel offer iPod docks and LCD TVs.
Pros: The rooms were nice and clean. Beds were comfortable and the pillows actually had some stuffing in them, which was a nice change of pace from other places we visited. The shower was also large enough to have two people.
Cons: The water splashes a little out of the side of the shower. They didn't have conditioner.
Pros: Large bathtub, fantastic breakfast, comfortable room, clean and modern. Walking distance to Löwenbrau biergarten and tram station.
Located in Gern, this hotel is within 1 mi (2 km) of Lowenbrau, New Pinakothek, and Old Pinakothek. Marienplatz and Pinakothek der Moderne are also within 2 mi (3 km).
Pros: Air conditioning, ease of check-in, on site restaurant and bar with speedy service
Cons: No issues
Pros: The location is good, though if you are flying out from the Terminal 1, you need to walk for about 7 minutes. The staff were very helpful. I will stay there again.
Pros: Location is attached to the airport for a quick 1 day stay
Cons: Old hotel, need renovation and not comfortable specially that I had someone knocking and drilling at 7 am above my room and when I complained they seemed not surprise or did anything. Also found errors in my bill that they said is due to a SYSTEM error!
Pros: Very good facilities
very helpful, can-do staff
Pros: Clean rooms with a nice bath tub, decent exercise facility, super convenient for quick trips to Munich. Very friendly, helpful staff.
Cons: Wi-fi was expensive and very, very slow. I don't mind paying, but even for just mail it was slow, for streaming it was extremely slow and sometimes not useable.
Pros: Very modern clean with decent size rooms especially for an airport hotel
Cons: They always seem to have banquets or receptions in the lobby. Its noisy and annoying
Pros: Outstanding location; as close to the terminal as the taxi stand! Big, quiet, nicely appointed room. Big, modern, clean, bright bathroom with big tub. Super modern facility, fantastic spa area with steam, shower, and a 1/2 olympic size indoor pool.
Cons: Internet only free if the "club" is joined. Internet in the room was hopeless; very limited bandwidth (although in the lobby it is fine. No gym equipment. Thank goodness breakfast was included for us; it is a totally all inclusive buffet with with a dedicated egg cook. I cannot think of anything one could not find at the buffet. However, if it is not included, it is 30 euros!!!! No coffee facilities in the room.
Pros: Great location ! Decent bar food with nice ambiance. Worked perfectly for our travel plans.
Cons: Too few accessible rooms for travelers with disabilities.
Pros: The location within walking distance to the airport is excellent if you have an early flight and the hotel is nice and comfortable
Cons: We arrived late and there was no bellboy service
Pros: The location, staff friendliness.
Cons: Rooms small for price

Cons: We travelled through 7 different European cities and this the first hotel where we had to pay for our WiFi.
Location is far from any places of interest, bars, nightlife, etc. But there is a subway station nearby and trains are very easy to use.
Pros: Excellent hotel, room, and staff.
No shops, restaurants, or convenient stores nearby but U-bahn station is a block away.
Pros: Nice and modern decor. Rooms were spacious and clean.
Cons: charging for wifi is ridiculous because it is such a standard offering in most hotels these days.
Nice, modern hotel. Very convenient access to the BMW Welt, if you're picking up a car there. Relatively easy subway access to the rest of Munich.
Pros: The staff were very helpful with an issue I had related to trying to get soccer tickets delivered. It was not their problem, nor were they the cause, but they went out of their way to help me resolve it.
Cons: Payment is required when making the booking.
Very nice hotel chain. We enjoyed our stay.
Pros: Funky vibe with art installations everywhere. Modern room with choice of rainshower.
Cons: Not many shops nearby.
Located in Milbertshofen - Am Hart, this luxury hotel is within 1 mi (2 km) of Olympic Stadium, Olympia Shopping Mall, and BMW World. Olympic Park is 1.1 mi (1.8 km) away.
Pros: Good hotel coming or going from Munich. Great breakfast for $7 Euros. Good internet.
Cons: Had a couple of channels in English on the tv. Parking was not as easy as I would have liked. Price was higher than others in the area but the ratings are high enough to justify.

For a bite to eat, guests can check out Gasthof Postwirt, which serves regional cuisine and is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Rooms at this upscale hotel offer flat-screen TVs, minibars, and room service.
Cons: Our non-smoking room smelled like someone smoked in it.
Pros: Proximity to Airport
Cons: Expensive parking (21 eu p day), close to airport but not AT airport. Need to take bus to get there.
Pros: The staff at the front desk and the cleanliness of the room. Bathrooms were well equipped
Cons: Staff at the bar wasn't too nice and seemed a little overwhelmed with not that many customers
Pros: So clean, modern and welcoming all around.
Cons: Parking is insanely expensive and breakfast at 21 euro per person does seem over the top. On the plus side, the breakfast was good.
Pros: How easy it was to get there and to public transportation. The rooms were really clean. Breakfast was great and the staff was friendly.
Cons: There was no small store nearby to by things we forgot (baby items, soap etc)
Cons: Price for parking is very expensive. Internet connection is very low and poor.
Pros: Proximity to airport, modern, clean, typical Novotel business hotel
Cons: It's not quite at the airport, no shuttle. You have to take a city bus from the airport to get there and it takes you 15 mins - inconvenient. The internet wasn't working well or at all, which, for a business hotel, is not acceptable.
Pros: Very good location if you have a very early flight out of Munich. The bus stop was less than 100 meters from the exit and the total bus ride was about 5 minutes to terminal 1. A shuttle would be nice, but the bus comes every 20 minutes. The non smoking room was clean and was more spacious than expected.
Cons: While this is probably a no-brainer for the seasoned traveler, the 25 euro buffet for dinner was unsatisfactory. In hind-sight we should have ordered room service with the fee, it would have been cheaper and possibly more palatable.
Cons: I think that this hotel should have shuttle to the airport.
Breakfast is good but very expensive.
Cons: They don't have free shuttle bus from airport.
Pros: Convenient location and helpful and friendly staff
The Novotel Munich Airport hotel is easy to reach from the terminal by bus (paying) and an ideal base for stopovers or business meetings. The excellent soundproofing in our non-smoking rooms lets you benefit from the hotel's proximity to the airport without compromising on a great night's sleep. After a hearty and balanced buffet breakfast, you'll be raring to go for your flight or a productive meeting
Pros: Good breakfast and ability to sit outside and enjoy quiet area
Cons: Internet wifi was poor. Several guests also had issues logging into the system. Elevator strategy needs to be better. Confusing for many guests. Small but adequate exercise area.
Pros: I liked my rooms. It was clean , luxury , comfort and beautiful. The subway station was very close. And price was very very very good.
Cons: The speed of wifi.
Situated in the fashionable Schwabing district, this hotel recently metamorphosed into one of Munich's premiere business establishments. The "theos" restaurant and bar are equally suited to work meetings or socialising over drinks and snacks. Need a bit o f air? Step over to our stylish garden lounge and terrace, or (just across the road) The English Garden.
Cons: Not much, tile in bathroom was kind of funky.
Pros: Solid location to use trams and trains. Also walking distance to city center. Airport shuttle across the street was great(it was 11€ each). The hotel it self felt very historic which I loved. Lots of cool art . Friendly and helpful desk staff. The bed was extremely comfortable.
Cons: Our room was a bit expensive for just a basic room. being right next to train station it got noisy at times. The main elevator was shut down so we had to use the service elevator which was very small only enough room for 2 people.
Pros: Excellent location across from main Munich train station. About a 15 walk to the Marienplatz. Access to public transit close by. Staff was very friendly and helpful in assisting us with planning our three days at the Much Christmas Markets. Breakfast buffet was generous and varied in choices. The room was comfortable and quiet.
Pros: - Location
Cons: - Staff could be a little more personable than stoic
- The rooms seem dated and could do with being updated for the
price we are paying
Pros: This nice hotel has an easy location - across the street from the train station and across the street from the airport bus stop. The center of town can be reached easily by foot in about 10 minutes. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The sauna and steam room were nice, and breakfast was superb. All in all, a great place to stay.
Cons: The room was slightly cold but very clean and comfortable.
Pros: Bestens erreichbar.
Restaurant.
Pros: Across the street from the train station, but never heard a train. Within walking distance to Marienplatz. Hotel was very clean and well decorated with artwork and fresh flowers, breakfast was impressive, and our room was quite comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.
Pros: Location, customer service, size of room, fitness center amenities
Cons: Charges for wifi

Pros: I had a long layover in Munich and need a place to rest overnight. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The shuttle to the airport was most convienent.
Pros: Excellent value for a hotel in this area. Highly recommend for anyone.
The hotel is very convenient to the Munich Airport.
The rooms were spacious and very clean.
The bathrooms were warm and have all of the extras.
The kitchen is excellent, serving a number of local German dishes at very reasonable prices.
Breakfast was fresh, great choices and plentiful.
The staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating
Cons: The hotel airport shuttle costs EU 8 for each way.
Pros: very clean
well appointed room
interesting design (central glass lift)
Cons: location was too isolated, no shops for a long distance by foot
staff did not speak English well enough, I needed to find shops but the girl did not explain it to me precisely (did not know 'left' from 'right') and I got lost
Shuttle bus should be included in the price and it was not easy to find it at the airport, there was no signpost at the bus complex
Hotel should offer all-inclusive deal at a good price, it does not
Breakfast did not have any hot food, only cold meats, cheese, eggs, cereals, etc, compared to same hotel in Zurich airport the breakfast was not as good
Hotel should offer a small kiosk with basic provisions plus telephone vouchers for making fixed line calls and a normal fixed line instead of the expensive phone you have there - it is a waste of time and money. Instead I will just use my cell phone. I prefer Zurich Aìrport Movenpick where I get a fixed line normal phone in the lobby.
