Pros: The house is very comfortable, and Alberto and his staff have seen to all their visitors' needs. The location is close to Stanley Park, great food, shopping and waterfront walks and can't be beat.

Pros: The location, which was a few steps from Stanley Park and English Bay, was great for morning and evening walks. Restaurants within walking distance were very good. We had easy access to everything we wanted to see/do. The breakfast was very nice, served beautifully; and the Inn itself was welcoming and charming. Thanks also to the staff who were friendly and kind.

Pros: We were looked after well and our dietary needs were met. As our international flight arrived early in the day it was made possible for us to inhabit our space way earlier than normal checkin time.

Pros: I stayed here for 8 nights. It is situated in a wonderful neighborhood off of Stanley park on the west side, 1 block away from the waterfront, 2 blocks or so from the park, and a short walk to shopping and downtown. This establishment is beautiful and comfortable at the same time. Most importantly, it is impeccably managed. The manager is a prince of a man. He makes everyone feel special and welcome, and is so attentive to detail. Breakfast everyday was unique, and compatible with a five-star restaurant. I never felt homesick being here!

Pros: Such a pleasant experience felt like a guest in a friend's home. The breakfast was amazing and the check-in was so easy. I would highly recommend The English Bay Inn to anyone visiting Vancouver

Cons: No laundry facilities within the room if you were wanting a longer stay, though possible that this could have been accessed by checking with staff.

Cons: The bottom floor bedrooms tend to be a bit cold at night because the heater is in the bathroom rather than the room. But there are extra blankets in the closet.

Cons: Didn't like that I couldn't move in permanently. Then again, I'd probably not have the funds to back that move....
