5 star hotel, unfortunately spa didn't work b/o COVID, good breakfast, good view, food in the bar is just OK, very convinient water taxi to the airport $140, they have complimentary water service to Murano and Burano, but unfortunately we didn't know about that and when we were offered, we already made the trip on our own. They helped to find where is good to do the COVID test cheaper. Location is perfect, but I would get multiple days vaporetto/bus pass. Staff was very helpful in getting directions to the places we needed, just don't forget, tragetto stop running at 6 pm. We enjoyed our stay.

The shower was leaking water so every time you use it, there was water all over the restroom, the hair dryer did not work, Just details that you take for granted at that price range hotels.

Pros: I stayed at the Casanova Suites which adjacent to the Bauers and for a family of four was great!! The location is just the greatest. The rooms were huge and they offered everything including 2 bathrooms!!! If you are traveling with young adults and spending time in Venice, this place is it. It was not cheap and it shouldnt be but well worth it!! Your on the main canal and yds from St Marks square. I will recomend it to my friends.

Cons: Floor plans complex and not safe. Basic facilities far from everything. Ground floor and lobby bathrooms are so hidden one needs a guide to find them. Many staircases have no hand rails. Cost of bottled water obscene! Drinking water is a basic necessity and should be available not priced as an expensive luxury.

Pros: The hotel is a minute’s walk from San Marco’s square but, inside the hotel, you wouldn’t think you were so close to all the tourists. The hotel is quiet and very comfortable, and is an easily walkable distance from all the sights in Venice. We will definitely be staying here again.

Pros: The breakfast is wonderful and I loved our room. We got one king sized bed, but there were two floors and it resembled a cozy cabin type! It was great!

Pros: The staff was friendly and went out of their way to make sure that our needs were met. The immediate neighborhood was interesting enough with plenty of places to shop and eat, and it was very easy and inexpensive to get to other areas of the city by vaporetto (water bus). The bed and bathroom were comfortable, and the breakfast was nice. The waterfront tables made it nice to sit and enjoy the view of the Grand Canal and water traffic.

Pros: Loved everything. Wasnt expecting how "posh" it would be. Worth the money. Good breakfast, powerful shower, clean and the view at breakfast.
Cons: The terrace at evening is only for booked sit down meals and we went at just gone 10pm for a drink as only a couple of tables were being used and even though the drinks would have cost use €20 they turned us away as meals only. Also I know its petty but the coffee at breakfast was cheap quality not nice at all for saying its Italy.

Cons: When a staff brought my luggage up, I gave 1 euro, it may not be much, but I researched that you do not tip in Europe in general. Staff made sarcastic comments which was very rude. I will not go back here for this one guy, I was ripped off quite a bit in europe, so research and be firm to say "NO" when they ask for more money or tip.

Cons: The worst and rudest customer service ever seen. Do not go by pictures, in reality their rooms are very bad. It does not deserve even one star. I ended up making new reservation of an apartment by paying 200 euro per night. Moreover when I tried to cancel my old reservation via booking agency, they threatened us that we may have to leave their property. Now think of what you do when you are with the family on a vacation. Over commercialization has degraded quality everywhere. But this one is the worst. Please STAY AWAY from this hotel.
