Friendly staff were very welcoming and made check in and out very easy and fast. Comfortable lounge bar and restaurant. Great food. Clean, nicely sized rooms. Two beds put together (nice big bed if you can make do with the join) and slightly soft mattresses. Hairdryer had seen better days but did the job.
Frienliness of staff n/a
Room was clean I only stayed for one night I did not see many other staff to comment on On the day we arrived there were two weddings and thus left residents without anything to do we found it hard to get drinks from your bar
The room was a good size and comfortable! I found all the staff to be helpful! The car park was clean and tidy and the gardens nice! I think a buffet breakfast should be included in the price!
Food very good although often had to 'prompt' to get for example, butter / water etc. No clock in room. Water pressure for shower poor
the breakfast was good, no eggs though. the internet didnt work in my room
always had a pleasant stay at this hotel. breakfast was very good with the choices. when i booked this hotel i asked for a double. however when we arrived we where given a twin room.. when i complained they moved us with no trouble.
The breakfast was poor, items run out, long wait for a plate(!) and fried eggs, hot food actually luke warm, coffee barely drinkable, sausages barely edible. Service poor.
The room & bathroom we could not fault. The evening meal was very good. The breakfast was plentyful. Staff very helpful. The barrier entrance to the hotel made your car less vunerable from being stolen. Unfortunatly, my wife & I had to wait forty minutes before we could obtain our room key, after a late drink in the restaurant!!! No staff during this forty minutes to contact!!! Please Note : This did not take the shine off our stay at the hotel or rebooking!!! Just concerned of lack of staff during this period!!!
The breakfast was generous and varied. The bathroom had 5 strands of hair on the floor and the bed was rock hard, very uncomfortable!
Resturant & Bar. Rooms were quiet
Good location, safe and good parking, wifi actually works in room compared to a lot of places that say they have wifi. staff friendly and nice bar. Have been numerous time and will be going back when working in area.
Warm friendly welcoming & helpful staff. Uncertain about cleanliness of bedlinen, drafty windows, noisy plumbing otherwise adequate.
The wedding reception we came to attend
I found the htel to be very good value for money. The food was excellent, I have paid twice as much for a steak with pepper sauce and it was no where near as good as the one served at the Paddington, breakfast was also very good. Not about the hotel as such, but I would prefer an all in rate with breakfast included.
Everythink it is a excellent hotel
Not clean and smelled damp
Faclities were very good
Staff were very freindly and polite, the room was well equiped and the bed was very comfortable. And the beer was cheap and the food was great. No.
Many smiling faces 0
Friendly staff, clean white bedding Bad nights sleep due to railway directly behind room. Even with window closed.
Everything was fab The room was far too hot even with the window open, temp turned down and the fan turned on
very nice room. excellent tv plus channels, the restaurant is one of the best hotel restaurants i've tried (I've worked away since 2000!)
Great breakfast Room needs decorating
nice cosy friendly hotel When I arrived at the hotel they did not have my booking luckly they had a spare room, noy sure who was at fault Bookings.com or Hotel
The breakfast was excellent and staff on reception were very friendly and helpful. I was in room 13 and the bathroom looks like it needs refurbishing, tiling was rather shabby.
Clean and tidy. None really.
The food was exceptionally good for an English hotel. The bathroom was awful, but clean enough.
Staff worked hard to meet every request. Room was warm and comfortable and breakfast excellent Huge Christmas party on sat night did not disturb us greatly although the pools of vomit in the car park the following morning were not pleasant. Although we had stated when booking that we needed a double room with extra bed in room for child we were shown to a twin room and had to wait in bar till they organized a suitable room. They said that our request did not download to them
Very convenient location to meet up with family and friends who live locally. On eof the three rooms I booked was exceedingly cold and therefore uncomfortable.
Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely surroundings and room was spot on Really stuffy in the room, no aircon but didnt realise had to turn the radiator off until was too late, should have advised really as I did enquire about it.
The excellent restaurant Bathroom is looking slightly shabby
i liked the luxury i had a relaxing stay would stay again the only thing was i wanted to stay longer there was nothing i didn,t like
Staff were very helpful, late checkout fot club members, clean, comfortable and quiet. rooms wers spacious and well equipped Food and drink were expensive as was internet usage
Quick check-in, polite staff. Room was clean & tidy. Drinks & food too expensive
smooth easy transactions
Staff very friendly and attentive, food good quality. None
Unfortunately, I did not enjoy my stay here at all. Yes, loud music during the early hours and early morning and constant noise from housekeeping which was very unsettling and caused differences betwwen my partner and myself....night was ruined
the only thing i would say that was good about this hotel was the price we paid, £39. The hotel room was cold, there was no mirrors in the mirror frames, we could hear every car that went past on the very near M6, the bed and pillows were hard and the room just didnt feel as though it had been cleaned, this could be to do with it being christmas day to be fair. if we had paid the full ammount of about £60 for the room then i would have been very unhappy.
ideal location very close to M6 great for breaking journey
The standard of the room was below that anticipated and did not warrant the price of £99.00 peer night. The hotel acknowledged this and reduced it to £75 which was still too much given the room.
We found the staff very friendly and helpful. The receptionist especially. She gave us directions tofind our way in the city and offered to ring for a taxi for us to take us to Huyton station. It arrived almost immediately. Would be nice if there were 2 easy chairs in bedrooms instead of just 1.
Staff were friendly and efficient Poor internal sound insulation meant that I was woken by the early riser in the next room. I might as well have stayed in a Travelodge and saved some money.
comfort and cleanliness of the rooms and friendly staff
the staff the food the location the tv in the reception poor picture quality
The hotel was ideally situated for the event we were attending. Staff were extremely helpful. Breakfast was excellent We stayed at Premier inn on Friday 9th April at a cost of £29 but on Saturday 10th April the price jumped to £109. This was rather expensive condisering the amount of time we spent in the room as we were attending Grand National Event.
The convenience of booking online, easily accessible location, comfortable room, friendly staff, cleanliness, good food
The hotel could do a lot more to cater for guests who smoke. They should also ensure that all the advertised facilities are available and alert guests on arrival if there are issues around the provision of certain services.
Gym Room was hot when I arrived
I found the hotel spacious, comfortable, clean and the staff professional and friendly. Food was to a good standard. Plenty of car parking spaces close to the hotel, which makes life easier.
Good service in the lounch. God service in the reception. The room was tidy. The chairs in the restaurans was dirty. The carpets in the hallway falling off. The breakfast was not redy at 6.30 and we where in a hurry.
comfortable bedroom. Was offered 2 hours free wi-fi, which was a reason for choosing the hotel. But it wasn't working.
The location. Close to motorway but with a peacefull environment. Long wait for dinner but we had not reserved a table in the restaurant. With hind site we would have opted for a bar meal. Would this have quicker service?
all fine except rooms dreadfully hot
convienance Food was pricey
Modern, friendly, quiet rooms Internet access. Far too expensive in this modern world
Staff were amenable to changing my room 3 times. First two rooms offered very dark and then very noisy next to air con unit. room 3 lovely. Breakfast ok but would prefer free range egg!
Very good service No walk-in shower
Friendliness and helpfulness of staff (in particular the housekeeper). Good breakfast selection. Generally well run Toilet flush inadequate. Windows difficult to close (it was open when we arrived and I had to go outside to close it (room 165)) jacuzzi and poolside shower not operational on the Sunday
the location was excellant. the quite luxury of the lounges . Food was very good and service from waitresses was first class.A very enjoyable stay. some more local information ie.history etc of the hotel and abbey as reading matter in the public rooms.
The Staff at the Leisure Club were very helpful. The Hotel room we were given had some serious problems with the radiator pipes which resulted in noisy vibrations which were so loud it was impossible to sleep in the room. We were allocated a new room however customer service was found to be lacking as no one would answer the phone at reception and when we went down in person we were just given another key with no offer of an apology, assistance in moving rooms or a refund.
Gym ok Poor heating - room heater on timer that didn't come on in evening and v cold. Rooms and décor very tired Room v basic and functional.
Staff were friendly and helpful and the place was clean and tidy although the room was warm and i was pleased i stayed on a cold autumn night and not a hot summer one.
Close to Daresbury Labs - anonymous Poor service in the bar. Very mediocre Caesar salad, white wine not sufficiently chilled. Cold fried eggs at breakfast - bacon etc all a bit greasy.
Convenient location for Liverpool,Manchester,Chester and touring the area, good local pubs nearby especially Ring O Bells. Good leisure facilities. Evening meal in restaurent was poor.
convenient location, freindly staff my room was not clean and extremely hot
2 out of 3reception staff very helpful. Kitchen staff for breakfast very good. Leisure club reception very good. No special rates for groups . I have a team of 12 people working on the door step of this hotel and we are all getting different rates. Some are getting £49 per night including breakfast others are paying £67. Those with the higher rates and tired bedrooms have moved out to the premier inn which has better parking and restaurant.
This is my 3rd week at the hotel and it is very busy ,very conveniet to motorway and work. The new wing of thehotel is nice and I have had 2 very positive stays. This weekwas a relative nightmare with very basic and tired looking room. Reception staff quite lazy this week so no recognition of regular clientelle or help with getting cheaper options for wifi/breakfast so ended up getting worse service and very inferior rooms. There are other hotels nearby which offer better quality so I would suggest the hotel looks at better rates for repeat customers. I have had sixof my team staying at the hotel We dont get group rates or any special discounts. No sign of investment being made in the bar area . Very basis restaurant menu. Not suitable for people like me with restricted dietary needs (halal). I have had to call for deliveries from outside suppliers.
It turned out to be a pleasant surprise, both the evening and day receptionists were pleasant, we all slept very well on comfortable beds, the hotel was quiet and best of all the towels were large and fluffy. We would definitely stay in a Premier Hotel again as the price was amazing and included breakfast.
Nice large comfy bed My daughter who is 16 and shared a room with us found her bed too small - maybe for older children it would be suitable
Staff very good as were the resturant staff and menus Place clean and quiet. I had booked a disabled room and although there were steady bars in place in the bathroom there were no faciities to enable me to get into the bath, the bath was low level but there was no means for a disabled person to access the bath without having to lift lower limbs. Surely a walk-in shower with intergal seat or a bath seat/lift could be standard in disabled rooms? Also needed was a seat to enable a disabled ,walking but unable to stand alone, to sit at the hand basin. Your room was good compared to a private hotel I was going to but improvements could be made to encourage semi ambulant guests to take up your hotels more often.
Staff were outstanding. Breakfast in the restaurant was excellent and surprisingly so was the evening meal. No bad points but if Premier Inn ever stretch to a swimming pool this would be great.
When I arrived the charge for the room was £78, however I gave the paper work I downloaded from you which stated £61.After the long delay with the management of the hotel who telephone your office to confirm the price I was charged the £61. In future I will not use your services due to the embarrasment I had to put up with at the reception desk.I do strongly suggest that your communications between hotels are improved.
Spacious, very modern, excellent value for money Bath not clean.breakfast yoghurts sour even though still within date, 2 days running.
stay in many hotels throughout the UK, some very expensive ones where the customer service is almost non existent but the Premier Inn staff were helpful, approachable and above all friendly which means more than all the fancy fittings and gadgets.
Clean and tidy Room was not serviced on my third day and no wall grab rails in bathroom
Comfortable room, quite location, good food in restaurant
Food was absolutely excellent. Shower didnt work, curtain rail was broken and so was the handle to 1 of the windows
the staff were very helpful, and the food was of a good standard, so good that I ate there both nights rather than look for anywhere else. it was great to have free wi-fi. thank you the room I had was very small, it was difficult for me to work using my laptop on the desk which was little more than a ledge.
Staff service, shower, tv set, buffet breakfast Single bed was too small, no elevator
Large room, comfortable bed, staf very helpful. Excellent value for money
Staff were all friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean and fresh. delicious food. Newly decorated rooms.
Very clean and good staff behaviour. Nothing major.
Very good nuice people
Evening Meal Told breakfast was until 10.00am and found it had finnished at 09.00 am no apology nothing.
Ease of breakfast bar Comfortable bed Damp in room Poor ventilation for bathroom
the hotel staff was very friendly. and the roon was very clean an comfy.breakfast was very nice with a selection of fruit an cereals aswell.
Breakfast was good, they cook the eggs fresh for you which made a change Bathroom, lots of hairs on the floor in the corners and the bed seemed very old
We we're in frodsham for a night out with friends, fantastic evening it was too, great local bars and nice people. The hotel is in a fantastic location with excellent views across cheshire, we paid £60 for 1 night , we arrived at the hotel around 3pm and made use of the pool, jacuzzi and steam room before our night out , the food we ordered in room was lovely too, although a full english in the morning set us back nearly £11 each, all round good experiance and we will be going back very soon i think .
Check in and out was efficient some of the restaurant serving staff were surley and uncommunicative
I received excellent service, good food and value for money.
Personal touch of hotel-refreshing for it not to be a 'chain hotel'. Continental breakfast very disappointing
Great leisure centre and nice location.
Sauna, swim, jacuzzi, and playing snooker till late! No
The happy and friendly staff. The pleasant and comfortablenature of the hotel.
comfort and cleanliness of hotel
C9omfort No lift !!
Jaccuzi and pool. They made our dog so welcome - even with a goody bag No adverse comments
Quick check-in, good location close to town, good facilities Parking limited, limited Sky channels
Excellent hotel , very modern and in a great location . Can be a little noisy at night time but dont let that put you off
The staff were very helpful, food great, lots to do and a lovely relaxed atmosphere.
The hotel was smart and the rooms modern. Staff were generally helpful and the overall feel of the place was friendly. In the morning there was difficulty accommodating everyone for breakfast and we had to wait over 20 minutes to be shown to a table - I was told that this is a regular occurrence so beware if you've got an appointment to keep at a weekend! (Also, bizarrely, the invoice online and the printed copy said the cost was £59 but my card bill showed £61...couldn't quite work this one out!)
the room design, cleanliness staff can be more friendly
the food was nice and the whole of the room the staff werent very friendly or approchable, or offer us more drinks
It was convenient for our visit to family and an event in the town. Bedside tables are impractical. The poor design made it quite dangerous to stand hot drinks on.
Lack of info about their facilities. The hotel room didn't have any info saying what time breakfast was served or what time checkout was. This would have been useful. They also have a good gym and pool apparently but I couldn't find any info about it in the room.
It was noisy. Noise in the pipes and noise from disco downstairs, we were on the lst floor at the back
Location to station Being charged to use credit card, Cold foo both at breakfast and dinner Broken fittings in room particularly bathroom
First room offered was still being decorated. Was then offered an excellent room to a very high standard with no quibble.
Friendly staff, walking distance to the town, lovely old part to the building, great fire at entrance and a great breakfast. Bathrooms needed updating.
The food was excellent and the staff were very friendly. Very convenient for Liverpool and Chester with the comfort of a small, friendly hotel.
Very nice village with many interesting buildings and related historical information. Hotel very warm and welcoming with lovely log fire. Restaurant evening meal was OK but nothing special. Service was also rather rushed.
Lovely building bath available No tea coffee facilities in room
Staff very good Overpriced food & accomodation, Shaver socket in bathroom not working, 2 lights in room not working, little sleep due to a motor running all night outside, place needs a freshening up
Friendliness and efficiency of all staff at all times. The upstairs rooms a little too warm but guests able to open windows. One bathroom mirror light not working but not a problem.
The hotel is located in Frodsham town centre. It is within easy walking distance to shops, pubs and Frodsham railway station and has a guest car park. The rooms are comfortable and tastefully decorated and staff members are friendly and helpful. The restaurant may look expensive at first glance but the food is excellent and good value. The hotel has cots and highchairs for families travelling with babies. For a longer stay, I would have liked an iron and ironing board in my room.
the cleanliness and the room no
Good, clean ,simple room. Good service.
The hotel is cheap and cheerful. A reasonable price for accommodation needed before an early morning flight. No frills just somewhere to lay your head.
At first it seems like very loud place, but surprisingly it is not. Liked location and not pushy staff. I did not like stained bedding, out of date overall design and leaking hydraulics
Staff were very helpful
Value for money and location
great location for trains
A very warm welcome from the staff and nothing was too much to ask. Lovely breakfast and plently of choise. Would use this again as its a good location I think it time for some renovation, especially the bathroom. But ut was clean.
Stayed night before an early flight from Liverpool Airport. Location was excellent and facilities were good.
The hotel was comfortable and clean. It fulfilled all my requirements in these areas. When I booked, I understood there was 24 hour reception. We had indicated a late arrival. The phone number on the door was incorrect in that it had the international dialling code and we had to ask another guest to help us. Not the best of welcomes.
Everyone was very friendly and the room was very comfortable. No
The breakfast was adequate for £8 each Very shabby room , dirty , cobwebs , peeling wallpaper, 2 wall lights hanging from wall , bulb missing ,dingy , no shampoo or gel first hotel i have ever stayed in where no toiletres complained to manager and couldnt be moved due to wedding however price of room reduced from £64 to £24 At £24 the room was just about adequate , however I will not be booking this hotel again overall very disappointing
yes wirlpool bath wos not working .i had telephoned in the morning to check every think was ok told it was.later found out it had been broken for a while ( i was not happy ?)
Friendly staff, very late bar and decent breakfast. Overall need of improvement to the hotel deco required to make a better impression to visitors. At present hotel looks shabby and dated.
I thought the staff were friendly and very helpful. The bathroom in our suite was tired and dated. There was mould on the ceiling and a cracked floortile. The bathroom looked like it had been installed in the 80's and not updated since.
Value for money was great and breakfast was good. Hotel staff were helpful too. Nice friendly feel. Our party's rooms weren't all together and the beds were not comfy ast all. Our bath wasn't that clean. Found hairs in it when I went to bath my baby.
Very helpful staff. The hotel is verypopular and the bars were therefore very busy. This was a cheap and cheerful booking, some of the decor was in need of refurbishment, threadbare carpets etc.
It was cheap. It was really noisy, the staff kept us waiting ages for check in and the rooms were really hot.
It was clean, tidy and the location was was very good for my arranged meetings and access to and from the motorway The rooms were extremely hot. Ironically, there was air conditioning in the corridoors but not in the rooms. I had an uncomfortable night coping with the heat.
Size of room TV reception was very poor
hotel was very comfortable .family room was good plenty room to move with 2 children . the room was very noisy even during the day and night did not get much sleep as the motor way was right out side our room not even 20yards away . i think when so near a road should have double glazing not secondary as we did not get much sleep ,for the traffic which ran all night . other than that we had a good stay.
Clean. Very comfortable bed. Good breakfast. No traffic noise although next to motorway. Slow check in. Very young giddley girls behind the bar, tended to ignor customers. Only one set of towels in room although booked for two.
convienient easy access to other areas of interest could be sign posted better staff ok
Hotel clean, trainee receptionist very helpful Food at adjoining restaurant only adequate, very busy, staff pleasant but slow service
Fairly clean, tidy, comfortable bed Heater didnt work when I entered my room, had to go downstairs (no phone!!) to request help, receptionist (only one person on duty?) had to come up and reset heater as had been off all year she said, why would they not do this when cleaning the rooms knowing it's cold now as autumn approaches? Then about 40 minutes after heater was on, room was hardly warmed as heater was too small for size of room and then it broke - leaving the room cold all night. Hair in the shower plug. 6:30 am my colleague in the next room and I were woken by the fire alarm going off!! Which made it impossible to go back to sleep when woken with such a shock.
The check-in was much improved from the last time we stayed and the receptionist responded well to my questions about entry to the hotel later that evening.
Good service, comfortable accommodation and good quality restaurant facilities.
Food was excellent Hotel is poorly located right next to the busy M56. Unfortunately my room opened up onto the M56 therefore I could not sleep with an open window which meant that the room became stuffy
The bedroom was sufficiently equipped with a double bed of good comfort level, which gave you a good night's sleep; and the room was quite sizeable. There was a constant "musty air" atmosphere both within the room and particularly in to corridor leading to the room, which was very off putting. The condition of the bathroom was not good, and the general interior of the hotel (other than the reception) was very poor.
I def liked the friendly staff, they were super helpful with whatever we needed help with That the express way was right outside our window. Maybe need to invest in some better windows with thicker glass.
The hotel was found to be clean, food was good and overall every facility worked fine. The bed was very comfortable, spacious and clean. Television was the right size for the room which was compact but led out thoughtfully. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times. Would have liked a bedside cabinet with draws. Also possibly would have liked some biscuits or some accompainiment to have with the coffee-tea making facility.
excellent service, high cleanliness standart, good value for money.
The breakfast mainly but everything else was also good.
Friendly staff Found socks under chair....cleanliness could be better
Good tv, comfy bed, nice large towel, nice coffee and marmite for breakfast Foam pillows, poor reading light, having to pay for wifi and the eggs for breakfast were tasteless
The receptionist was excellent and gave us a very warm welcome as did the staff for breakfast the following morning. Te quality of the breakfast was very good indeed. We both enjoyed stayimh here.
Most of the staff were very friendly and helpfull On checking in we decided to pay cash the receptionist asked for photo id which no of us had, she very very rude as we didn't have this on our persons. Thought that it could of been handled much better.
Pleasant staff, and service as described. Convenient for the motorway which is what was required. All hotels should provide a bottle of drinking water in each room. Not a "destination location" but that was known.
All staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast very good, room and facilities a very good, clean standard None
The hotel offered excellent value for money and the cleanliness was top notch and staff were friendly and helpful. The location meant we had to get taxis everywhere.
Rooms were excellent, staff very helpful. Rooms were slightly too hot.
pub restaurant on site was pleasant was a bit further away from Aintree Racecourse than I realised but that was my mistake!
Very friendly and knowledgable staff. Very comfortable room but quite expensive for a budget hotel. Would expect free wifi for the price
As we were visiting family the freedom to come and go was vital and the location was good. Lack of sleep as fellow guests were noisy but they were the ones with Sssh on the doors next morning. The Travel lodges still have biscuits!!!
Hotel is quoet, close to motorway with free parking. Staff was nice and room neat
Pleasant stay in a pleasant hotel Restaurant on evening took to long to serve food, would prefer it if hotel clients were kept as clients and not just members of the public, floor arounf the toilet in room 24 was spongy, this is because chipboard was used for the floor instead of plywood
Clean, comfortable, friendly welcome. Car exit is via an industrial estate, there can be a queque at exit from estate in morning
The helpfulness of the staff. We could hear the ain road form our roon.
Comfortable room good price for hotel with gym gym facilities being restored was not advised there would be no lockers etc when making reservation
The check in staff were friendly, welcoming. The bar staf and restaurant staff were pleasant. The hotel was badly in need of a refit, very dated and tatty. The swimming pool had a moldy fetid smell. The lockers in the changing rooms did not lock and there was no soap in the showers.
Convenience, close to cities.Good parking. Large refurbished room
The swimming pool was clean and reasonably sized. The bed was uncomfortable. Towels were a bit dated. Room was always cold on my return each evening as staff were always turning the heater off.
The pool it was very refreshing. The food was lovely and staff were very helpful. We will stay at a quality hotel again.
some of the staff were ok the whole place was dirty in particular the so called health suite which was absolutly filthy. the standard of food in the restaurant was poor in particular the breakfasts which were never fresh and often left on the plat by myself and other guests. the hotel staff don't know the procedures it took me 30min to check out making me late for an appointment.
The staff were so friendly very smartly dressed and very helpful. The food was gorgeous and the staff in the restaurant were exceelent a credit to The Quality Hotel Chester
room was lovley, food excellent, enjoyed the motown evening, but dissapointed that we didnt have time to use the pool and saunas the bar and enterainment room could do with being a bit bigger and also some airconditioning in there it was so hot.
Excellant room and service. Very clean and weloming. Our room was adjacent to a marvellous garden which we could relax in. Restaurant was closed on Sunday night.
Clean Comfortable Good parking facilities None
Large rm, choice of rm only, late bar - local event was a late finish so really appreciated a drink as I was driving. Tv with teletext, plenty of parking space despite a private dinner party in Hotel. Double rm was actually a family rm, if I had known this then 2nd single rm would not habve been needed (a twin room required) and this would have saved the extra expense incurred. Walls are paper thin, thankfully other guests were not noisey when they passed my room or the rooms either side.
Superb room, excellent service.
Owner and staff very helpful and friendly exellent service very high standard but still had that personal touch that is often lost with some hotels I would have no hesitation in recomending this hotel to anyone (superb) There where no bad points
spotless facilities family run hotel with comfortable rooms and a welcoming atmosphere and i was made to feel welcome. well decorated rooms with good amenities
