9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff are great very kind and helpful. The place feels very homey and chill like a house..which it's kinda is. The rooms are big enough for 2 people and the futon beds are comfortable. Air conditioning in the room and the facility. 2 bathrooms clean and nice. The location is ok a little bit far from the sea where everything is basically.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were friendly, it was quiet, easy to rest.
Cons: I'm pretty allergic to dust, and I had a runny nose here. Bring your medication if you have allergies.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff is very welcome and friendly. They also recommend some restaurants and local events near the hotel so you can join. The hotel can be reached very easily. I highly recommend this hotel to stay.
7.1 Good
Pros: very calm at night nice living room
Cons: Too much rules and very strict! they lock the door in the afternoon (no entry or exit)??? towel extra late check-in etc.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: A very cosy and charming place, with lovely staff. Free tea and a functioning kitchen, comfy bed, and not too far from the port.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Spacious and clean
Cons: It can be noisy so earplugs are a must
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was absolutely fantastic! I really enjoyed chatting with other guests as well and the general atmosphere of the hostel made it perfect for the experienced hostel-hopper. They also provide ear-plugs for people who stay in the dorm-style rooms. They also had drinks downstairs and there was a phenomenal bubble-tea place about 5 minutes away.
Cons: The hostel is located at the top of a hill walking from Sakuragicho Station. It wasn't too extreme, but because I had a large roller bag with me, it took a bit longer than I originally expected to get to the top of the hill.

9.7 Excellent
Pros: By far the largest room I've had in Japan. The room was a little older but there wasn't anything wrong with it. It had a great view of Yokohama harbor and the Yokohama Bay Bridge. The staff was great and accommodating and even held onto my luggage before I checked in and after I checked out.
Cons: There wasn't anything wrong with this hotel. The original price for the room was to high in my opinion but it was just fine with the discount I got from the site.

Cons: None.
6.0 Good

Cons: Rooms are old and need to be renovated.

Pros: The location is perfect. A stone's throw away from Chinatown.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Our 6-people family had a wonderful Chinese Lunar New Year vacation here. New Grand is a great place to stay in Yokohama. Their staff are polite to my family. And its location is also perfect. Its opposite is Yamashita Park and it's very close to Chinatown.AND specially thanks for concierge IKUE SATOH, she speaks English very well and helps us contact different places to find my cellphone. Thank you. AND thanks for the bellman(in the front door),sorry I don't know his name. A wonderful guy with some white hair. He passed us some umbrellas when going outside at a heavy rain night. They are helpful. Anyway, thank you guys. From China
7.0 Good
Pros: Airport limosine bus just opposite the hotel Chinatown a very short walk away
Cons: Check in took very long, perhaps a bit shorthanded. The room was average, nothing special.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel's history goes back a long way.
Cons: I couldn't view Macarthir's room!
8.0 Excellent
Cons: All the staff are very warm and polite, this is the best hotel in Yokohama.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great. The entire staff we outstanding, the view from our double bed corner room overlooking yamashita park just unforgettable. You can't beat the location. I used the hourly seabass water taxi in front of the hotel, to cross the water to minato mirai area and to akarenga, great fun compared to using the subway. This hotel service level is outstanding, we even forwarded a bag to them weeks before arrival, and they kept it graciously for us. Upon check-in at arrival , the bag seamlessly appeared, without us even needing to issue any request! Their concierge, which spoke English well, helped us make instant bookings for the airport limo bus. Everybody at the hotel had great attitude and spoke English well.
Cons: It was perfect, with nothing to fault

7.0 Good
Pros: - large windows with a nice view of the city - eco-friendly amenities - clean bathroom - generous breakfast (my son was very glad that they served pancakes
Cons: - there was a stain on the bed sheet (see photo) and I had to scrub it off to feel at ease to sleep on it - I could hear the people next door closing their bathroom door and a lot of thumping sounds - below our room window was this very bright banner on car rental that was blinding us from the rest of the view
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel was right on top of the Shinkansen no local jr station Making it very easy to get around. It had plenty of places to eat nearby and the buffet was very good. Room was excellent and staff helpful. There was a coin laundromat and vending machines and a microwave to heat up meals.
Cons: Nothing.
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Hotel Vista Premio Yokohama Minatomirai in Yokohama (Minato Mirai 21), you'll be steps from Tokyo Bay and 8 minutes by foot from Pacifico Yokohama. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage.
4.0 Okay
Cons: Rude front counter staff (non native) who replied rudely with no help offered when I had a problem with an occupied laundry machine. Attitude was bad and definitely not representative of the mostly good services i had received while staying in many other lodgings all over japan. Otherwise it was a really pleasant hotel with it's product offerings. Will b a 5/5 if not for this blatantly rude staff.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: very clean and decent room
Cons: check-in procedure - no stuff could help us to move the luggages from ground floor to the room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room is quite big and so comfy. It’s not so far from the station but I think SHIN-TAKASHIMA is more convenient than Minatomirai if you have a big suitcase. It’s so close to Pacifico Yokohama and really about 10 mins walk. The staff was really nice and kindly help me a lot about my postbox that I have to send to hotel before I arrive in Yokohama. They all are so friendly. The automatic machine for check out is very convenient and so fast. I will go back to stay again if I have to go to Yokohama.
Cons: Nothing

The Yokohama Cup Noodle Museum is just 5-minutes walk away. You'll find that this iconic business hotel in Yokohama caters to your every need, including a fitness centre, spa, two bars and five restaurants.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Hotel was lovely, clean and very accommodating. I found it very comfortable. I do not understand some of the mixed reviews I found on the website. I would definitely stay there again.
Cons: cost for meals was high, but that seems true of all Japan hotels. Many staff did not speak English, but they always found someone who did, if necessary
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent view of harbour and amusement park. convenient location for food, shopping and museums.
Cons: None
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing breakfast. The hotel itself is a landmark with it's unique appearance.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Best location! Beautiful lobby and wonderful view from the room.
Cons: We only had a bar of soap with shampoo and conditioner. Didn’t really expect such thriftiness.
6.7 Good
Cons: Pillow not comfortable
10.0 Excellent
Pros: + Got a free upgrade to the "Intercontinental Suite", with amazing views of Minatomirai, the Yokohama Bay, and Bashamichi. + The staff also pro-rated my first night's stay since I checked in at 4am. + Hotel is very nice, quiet, and has fast+reliable WiFi! + Location is excellent: the Intercontinental is one of the landmark buildings in the modern Minatomirai neighborhood of Yokohama; it just across a pedestrian overpass to Minatomirai Station and Queens Mall + Landmark Tower and all of the rest of the surrounding attractions. + Easy access to Tokyo via Minatomirai Station (from where you can catch a train direct to many Tokyo neighborhoods or get anywhere with 1 transfer). (I would recommend using Hyperdia (http://www.hyperdia.com/en/) for looking up train directions.) + While I was checking out, a staff member came up to help me with my two large suitcases and spoke into his headset to have a cab waiting for me by the time we got down the escalator. + Many more instances such as this of subtle and excellent customer service are what really defined this stay for me. + Access to the airports is easy via Yokohama station where the Keikyū Airport Line will take you to Haneda in 30 min or the JR Narita Express will take you to Narita in 1.5 hrs. If you are traveling light, you can change trains at Yokohama to the Minatomirai line and take that to Minatomirai Station, which is a block from the Intercontinental. (If you have a lot of bags, as I did, you might find it easier to take a 10 min cab ride between Yokohama station and Minatomirai station.)
Cons: - No power outlets accessible by the beds, hard to get at by the desk. - No ethernet (wired) internet connection. - Shower head and beds a bit short (I am 6'/1.8m and they were just fine, I would say that anyone taller might need to bend their knees, but this size is also typical of hotels in Japan).
6.0 Good
Pros: Friendly staff, excellent location, nice room, lovely bar overlooking Yokohama.
Cons: Very long check-in time (40 min wait), the bath plug was spherical instead of disc-shaped so water quickly leaked out, very limited and boring food on menu if you don't eat meat.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Shuttle bus to Narita Airport
Cons: Dust clouds from worn carpet. You can see it through reading light, if you move.
7.1 Good
Cons: Pillow too soft
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was courteous and able to easily assist us during our stay. Not much of a language barrier for English speaking guests. Hotel was safe during Typhoon Hagibis. Breakfast had a large variety.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely building.. a land mark. Super location, easy to get to transit, and shopping, sites. Comfortable bed and large room for Japan. Staff and facilitirs excellent.

5.0 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: My room was full of very sick people.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The owner Mr Taka Mori's mother is very hands on in everything in the hostel;speaks & understands English so communication is a bit easy on that part. Clean, secured & good staff
Cons: None
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were super friendly, was able to check in early (very early) if you're looking for a cultural experience and are a fan of hostels this should be on your list of places to stay in the area. So good I extended my stay and will be staying again in about a month.
Cons: Honestly there was nothing that I didn't like.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The warm welcome from the stuff was so humble. I appreciate it. And the Lady (I forgot the name) she showed all the rooms starting from bed to kitchen. Even all the items are present if you wanna stay for a long time also. The price was so cheap around 3200¥ for two nights. It was much clean all the places. I found no problem anywhere.
Cons: Everything was perfect but I only didn’t feel good that in my room (A) there was 6 others among them in the first night one UK guy was so loud at the night talking over phone and next to his bed. And after checking out I went to a part time work during my work they called me but I couldn’t pick up but I called back after my work was finished and he told some guy in our room can’t find some money. Don’t know if they are blaming me or not. I really wonder how can it happen while 6 people are in a small 8 sq feet room. Even no one was there I put one of my Country’s artifact as a gift.

Overview Reviews
With a stay at Pasela-no-Mori Yokohama Kannai in Yokohama (Kannai), you'll be steps from Tokyo Bay and 14 minutes by foot from Yokohama Stadium. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Nice rooms with a spacious bathroom and additional spa materials. Free bar and snacks in the evening.
Cons: A little bit pricey, but the perks were good. Be careful if booking to go to stadium as there are 2 Yokohama stadiums. Yokohama and the international Nissan Yokohama stadium. In very different places.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location was good, close to JR and subway stations. We arrived by shinkansen and it was easy to get to Kannai Station which is 10 minutes' walk from the hotel; about 10-15 minutes' walk to the Noge bar and restaurant area. Both subway lines are within easy walking distance. We were pleasantly surprised by the Balinese theme; our room had a spa bath and the hotel provided lots of free toiletries etc. The cleaning service was good. There was a free bar each evening and the hotel had a relaxed atmosphere. Breakfast was plentiful, mostly Japanese style.
Cons: Our room was a bit dark and felt cramped, though for a city hotel this is to be expected. The bathroom was a good size.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Loved the amenities. So many things to grab from the lobby. Hair clips, masks, hair ties, different soaps, eye masks, ear plugs. Ladies will love it! Free drinks and nibbles every night came in handy big time! Staff were very friendly and helpful. They have bikes you can hire for free. Helped when we were too tired to walk anymore and helped to see more of the city.
Cons: The only thing I don’t like about properties in Japan are the size and I don’t think you can hold that against the property.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Friendly team at the hotel and very willing to be of help.
Cons: The TV could not be operated because it had no operational information guide in English.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Rooms are small but adequate. Has a free bar and snacks.
Cons: Price and location
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Free bar in the evening.
Cons: Confusion with the booking. I booked a twin room but somehow it went through as single occupancy. May have been an issue with booking.com rather than with the hotel. Very expensive hotel, cramped rooms, and not a very nice area.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Helping nature of staff, free drinks of all type.
Cons: No Indian vegetarian food

Highly recommend this hotel particularly if need to be near cruise terminals .

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great view from the room. Good breakfast.
3.0 Mediocre
Cons: Disclaimer: We are NOT noisy tourists. We DIDN'T give any demands or anything you would find from annoying guests. We are just a newly wed couple, stayed here for our honeymoon, but this is the worst experience. Lobby staff - They didn't care even if you tried hard to speak Japanese with them. Instead, they gave you a smirk when you didn't understand and switched to English immediately, as if laughing at you. The guy during check-in was chatting extremely nicely with Japanese guests and introducing this and that to them, but when it was our turn, he introduced nothing. His smile was fake with a hint of "I don't wanna serve you". There was another lobby staff, in her 40s, who was greeting Japanese guests, but the moment she saw us, her smile disappeared immediately and walked away. Restaurant - Rude staff inside with no smile at all. Breakfast choices were mediocre with extremely slow refill. Be prepared with nothing you'd like to eat. I wrote a long comment note to the hotel when we left. They didn't even bother to reply. If this is what Japanese claims "omotenashi" (おもてなし), that's really a shame.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This wonderful hotel is ideally located close to the waterfront , fabulous eateries, cafes, restaurants, Red Brick warehouse and wonderful shopping outlets. We had a club room waterfront view and we loved the views, size of our comfy room and the very helpful staff. We would highly recommend this excellent hotel if you decide to visit Yokohama!

Pros: Room size very good and bed very comfortable
Cons: Nothing great place to stay
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Clean, comfortable hotel. Friendly staff. Great location in minatomirai part of Yokohama.
Cons: Expensive
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I stayed in 3 levels of rooms during my 2 stays in the same week. The higher levels definitely were more enjoyable. I did choose to include breakfast each morning and was happy with that decision. While expensive it is expansive and extremely well prepared. I also used the fitness center each day and found the additional cost worthwhile as in addtion to the gym there are full locker areas with Japanese style baths and sauna as well as a pool.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice large room, very comfortable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Royal Park Hotel is always great. We have stayed there many times. The rooms are large and well appointed, the staff is nice, and the View, especially if you have a bay view, is great. Since the hotel starts fifty floors up, all views are spectacular. The breakfast buffet on the top floor is great with a wonderful view.
Cons: The check-out procedure could be better. You often have to stand in a long line if you check out at 11:00 am. I don't understand why a modern hotel in a modern country like Japan forces you to stand in line to check out rather than do it electronically.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The view from the room, the location, the staff mainly the bell Captain and the staff we ran into in the hotel. Great people and eager to help in any way.
Cons: Shower floor was in need of a real cleaning of grout and sealing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room is comparable larger than others. The service is high quality.
Cons: Please add some 220V power plug.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The view out of the window was amazing.
Cons: For a hotel that charges a lot for their room, the cleaning standard should be higher. The shower head both of them were not cleaned in a while and in the shower itself on the walls and on the floor was mold.

We had a club room waterfront view and we loved the views, size of our comfy room and the very helpful staff. We would highly recommend this excellent hotel if you decide to visit Yokohama!

5.0 Okay
Pros: The staff were unhelpful and reluctant to assist on a number of requests...
Cons: Hotel was also very overpriced Breakfast was unpleasant.....due to staff attitudes...
3.0 Mediocre
Cons: They would not allow me to checkin early without paying a $20 per hour fee, even though the room was available!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was good but if you are staying for a long time you need options. The location was great! The view was breathtaking! The hotel staff and the people were so friendly. The area was safe and the people, security and police were very helpful.
Cons: On the third day I needed a different breakfast. Only the veges were changed.
7.5 Good
Pros: Waking up to the sight of Mount Fuji in the morning followed by a lovely breakfast.
Cons: 놘 – No coffee or bottled water in the room, only one very small pillow each and no face flannels. Double bed was only 5 foot not 6. A bit tight considering we splashed out to finish our holiday in style having paid £280 for the average room (this did including breakfast), made worse by seeing if we had stayed a day later the room was only £130 !

7.9 Good
Pros: Location was good, near lots and lots of shopping, near public transportation!
Cons: Room size but this is Japan and I am an American
8.8 Excellent
Cons: The breakfast menu has few options for strict vegeterians/vegans .more brad and fresh fruit would have been nice.
6.3 Good
Pros: The hotel is in a good position close to trains, good food and the port area. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good.
Cons: The unfortunate outcome of the stay was the mattress. The mattress was at least a couple of years past it’s prime with the springs of the mattress easily felt. There was clearly a number of faulty springs and the mattress had low and high spots - galore. Very disappointing and hence poor maintenance and review of facilities and equipment. One of the worst mattresses i have slept on in a quality and not budget hotel.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Location. Good breakfast
Cons: Not so clean. Bed was very old and uncomfortable. Windows didn‘t open so airing the room wasn‘t possible and the room needed it
8.8 Excellent
Pros: This is a perfectly nice hotel, with very convenient access to Sakuragicho station. All aspects of the stay were efficient and friendly. Room was a good size, stocked with the proper amenities. Bed was comfortable, noise didn't bleed through the walls, and it was possible to get a good night's sleep. The hotel's restaurant felt tranquil, with nicer scenery than one would expect from a city hotel. Reasonably close to Yokohama's Minato Mirai district; only about a 10 minute walk to the funfair and convention center.
Cons: Very few things wrong. A few nitpicks: the hotel provides a free PC in the lobby, but no printer, and the hotel breakfast was lacking in vegetarian options (a common issue in Japan, unfortunately).
5.4 Okay
Pros: the public bath
Cons: the staff on the reataurant the one women looks like mad. like they dont like the foreigner
7.1 Good
Pros: The location is great. Close to the JR station, subway, and lots of shoppingmals. Also one the edge of the night districr with lost of restaurants and bars.
Cons: In this day and age one would expect access to at least one power outlet but I had to move the fesk to get access to one. Ceckin at 15 was also a bit of a bother.
