Pros: The best waiters ever! Elecrtic car beach transfer is great. Nice swimming pool. Large and well equipped room with vast balcony. Tasty food. Comfortable shower.
Cons: Fridge was broken and it took several days to repair. City tax is high and amount of city tax is not mentioned anywhere at booking.com. Staff speaks Englisk just a little. No children facilities, no playground - it has been closed. Before main season lots of facilities is unavailable. Prices for additional requests varies - different price on booking.com and different prices locally.

Pros: Very good location, close to the Paradiso del Sub beach, one of the most beautiful beaches of Calabria. We had very good breakfast, something extra every morning. Not to mention that the housekeeper came every day to clean our room. Would go back again.

Pros: Great residence with small little houses in a beautiful landscaped garden or on the hill with sea view (they also have a hotel). Ours was on the hill and had a bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. However, we did not use the kitchen to cook as there is a nice restaurant at the hotel (near the beach) and nice restaurants in the neighborhood. The breakfast is good as well and they can accommodate a gluten-free dieet. The beach is lovely with chairs and umbrellas and there is also a swimming pool with chairs and umbrellas. The staff is really friendly. We loved our relaxing stay.
Cons: Sqeeky bed. Shower curtain did not do its job so everything got wet.

Pros: Park oasi was a lot of fun for the family. Ivan the manager was so friendly & helpful. The grounds were lovely, pool was amazing & right on the beach. The buffet breakfast had a good selection of fruit, cereal, bread, meats etc. Bar is open during the day for snacks which was good with kids. Staff didn’t speak much English which was difficult at times but the place has a nice atmosphere. It’s very quiet & remote but only 10 min walk from train. I would recommend having a car to explore the area. Beach is pebbly so recommend bringing beach shoes if you’re planning to swim as it’s a little uncomfortable walking in & out. Our 2 bd apartment was a good size.
Cons: We didn’t get much sleep as beds were hard & uncomfortable. Could do with more kitchen utensils & dish cloth & towel.

Pros: Excellent food at the restaurant at a fair price. We stayed at a junior suite which was all new and comfortable, 200 m up the hill. Kids loved the shuttle service to the beach with a golf car. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. There was also entertainment for kids
Cons: Reception wasn’t easy to find since it’s next to the beach apartments, also our GPS couldn’t locate the hotel because it’s on a private road.

Pros: The Hotel is a Family run hotel. Very warm experience with the owners constantly present to watch over and make sure all is well. We also had lunch twice there and the fish was great. The hotel is overlooking it's own private beach, white sand and crystal clear blue waters. You might feel you are on a tropical island. Enjoy!

Pros: Location is absolutely fabulous, only 2-3 minutes from the beach. Staff is very nice and helpful. The whole place is built out and furnished like a small mediterranean Paradise with wonderful plants, trees and flowers. For Littels there are several playgrounds equiped and continous animation is ensured. We will go back.

Cons: No kids menu in the restaurant and no pizza even though their sign said Pizzeria. Apartment quite small for 5 people. Charged for everyday you use the beach chairs and parasol which I feel should be included in the cost of your stay.

Pros: Reception, room, restaurant, swimming pool, beach all a stone’s throw away from each other. Felt safe as houses there. Most families from Euroland so friendly atmosphere. Could monitor kids easily. Decent food. Complaints were resolved amicably. Lovely views with beautiful mountains behind and calm sea in front. Train 15 minute walk away (uphill!) Room well cleaned. Ok value for money.
Cons: Paid full board but had to pay extra to sit outside for meals - no coffee included for lunch or dinner (but staff had their own coffee machine!)... grrr... No kids entertainment end of May - starts in June. Could do with a shop on site to sell basic goods. “5 a side football pitch” for dwarves. “Hydro massage area” did not exist. Children’s play area needs updating. All small issues that would otherwise make this a truly great hotel.

Pros: Hotel is a property of Picollo family. Everybody from the family works there. Extremely kind and helpfully. The beach near by is even better then Tropea. Extremely clean and the manager is Alessandro the owner, is very nice and kind.
Cons: Hotel is 1km from Tropea city center, but they have a complimentary shuttle service

Pros: Hotel Piccolo has lovely views looking over the sea and Tropea. The hotel is spotlessly clean, our room was modern and spacious. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast at the hotel was very good with plenty of choice. We walked into Tropea it took half an hour, which we liked, but there is a free shuttle bus into Tropea from the hotel which you could book throughout the day and night. We used this a couple nights after evenings in Tropea, recommend this hotel. We will return.

Pros: The setting was beautiful, the grounds clean though not well groomed. Very quiet and peaceful. There was one employee named Inge/Iche (??) who was LOVELY! She handled everything with a smile and a beautiful personality....she made our stay pleasant....oddly enough she quit 1 day before we left. Their loss for sure. And the young woman who cleaned our room each day was wonderful....we found out she was new to the resort. Also the mgr in the restaurant did try to make our meals pleasant.
Cons: Unfortunately not all the staff was pleasant or helpful, some just couldn't be bothered and were slightly rude. The "private beach" was private just not useable as a "beach". Can't use the pool before 9:30AM or after 6:30PM....on vacation!! Had ants on our balcony and in our room every day, had to request it be sprayed twice. Construction under our room at 6AM and when we told the front desk they didnt know anything about it. If we needed anything (i.e. plates, bottle opener etc) we had to get it ourselves. In this area this resort was considered high end and was expensive based on other rates, it was not worth the money and we would not stay there again.

Pros: Good-sized room with well-cultivated and landscaped garden. Very clean and good service overall. Good food.Staff are all very promising. Will return and I highly recommend it. Dont Take the bad comments too seriously. It can take a little while yo get your cocktail to the table, but when on holiday, who really cares about time.

Cons: Staff are not very supportive. Tables are not getting cleaned quickly. No one is managing the pool bar and if you wait even for 10 minutes no one cones to see what you need. I stayed for 6 days and pool bar was empty for the week I stayed. Management should consider having a supervisor in the restaurant and the bar to monitor the staff. No music is played at nights and it looks empty and evacuated in the evenings.

Pros: We were given a room upgrade when we arrived. Our room was very large with a panoramic window which was not overlooked. The bathroom was well stocked. The pool was well stocked with beds and umbrellas. There was a nice outside pool bar where the staff were very attentive and bought refreshments to the sunbeds. We had a fabulous meal at at the hotel restaurant, the sword fish steaks were the thickest we'd ever had and were cooked to perfection. Breakfast buffet was well presented, plentiful and delicious.
Cons: A lift would have been appreciated as there were lots of steps from reception to the rooms.

Pros: Comfy bed, good food, good resort style pool, beach at your doorstep. The wait staff, in particular mode Silvia, were wonderful! Cleaning ladies were great.
Cons: Our room was right at the front of the resort on the hilltop facing the car park and a derelict building which was quite unattractive and not pleasant to view at night. Our room smelt of sewers, extremely unpleasant complained immediately but nothing was done until our last night. Was not offered to move rooms. Reception staff were grumpy and rude each time we walked in making us feel uncomfortable. Tiny tv from the 80s, tiny shower with concertina doors which fell apart upon closing.

Pros: All was very nice, pleasant staff, flexible with breakfast time as we had to leave early, we had apartment 6 which was on its own in the vineyard and orange orchard. Great swimming pool with music. Room was clean, and we slept very well each night. Security is of a very high standard from the car entrance system to the accommodation door..
Cons: Nothing really, the whole experience for us was very positive.

Cons: On booking was written "in the hills of Parghelia", but it was in the mountain. Wi-Fi was not good. For 2 days there was no internet and when we asked for the employed to please restart the rooter, the explanation was that she had internet and she wont restart. And afterwards she came to our room to tell us that there is no internet "because of the sun" (?!)

Cons: No kids menu in the restaurant and no pizza even though their sign said Pizzeria. Apartment quite small for 5 people. Charged for everyday you use the beach chairs and parasol which I feel should be included in the cost of your stay.

Pros: Very good location, close to the Paradiso del Sub beach, one of the most beautiful beaches of Calabria. We had very good breakfast, something extra every morning. Not to mention that the housekeeper came every day to clean our room. Would go back again.

Pros: Great residence with small little houses in a beautiful landscaped garden or on the hill with sea view (they also have a hotel). Ours was on the hill and had a bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. However, we did not use the kitchen to cook as there is a nice restaurant at the hotel (near the beach) and nice restaurants in the neighborhood. The breakfast is good as well and they can accommodate a gluten-free dieet. The beach is lovely with chairs and umbrellas and there is also a swimming pool with chairs and umbrellas. The staff is really friendly. We loved our relaxing stay.
Cons: Sqeeky bed. Shower curtain did not do its job so everything got wet.

Pros: Park oasi was a lot of fun for the family. Ivan the manager was so friendly & helpful. The grounds were lovely, pool was amazing & right on the beach. The buffet breakfast had a good selection of fruit, cereal, bread, meats etc. Bar is open during the day for snacks which was good with kids. Staff didn’t speak much English which was difficult at times but the place has a nice atmosphere. It’s very quiet & remote but only 10 min walk from train. I would recommend having a car to explore the area. Beach is pebbly so recommend bringing beach shoes if you’re planning to swim as it’s a little uncomfortable walking in & out. Our 2 bd apartment was a good size.
Cons: We didn’t get much sleep as beds were hard & uncomfortable. Could do with more kitchen utensils & dish cloth & towel.

Pros: Excellent food at the restaurant at a fair price. We stayed at a junior suite which was all new and comfortable, 200 m up the hill. Kids loved the shuttle service to the beach with a golf car. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. There was also entertainment for kids
Cons: Reception wasn’t easy to find since it’s next to the beach apartments, also our GPS couldn’t locate the hotel because it’s on a private road.

Pros: The Hotel is a Family run hotel. Very warm experience with the owners constantly present to watch over and make sure all is well. We also had lunch twice there and the fish was great. The hotel is overlooking it's own private beach, white sand and crystal clear blue waters. You might feel you are on a tropical island. Enjoy!
