Excellent location, young crowd great for young travelers looking to meet people. One of the more expensive hostels I've stayed in, but worth it considering the alternatives in Amsterdam. If/when I go back, I will look to stay here again.
Location close to train station
Building work being done during day, poor value for money, no soap in toilets or hand dryers
Tha old man, named Paul, and a chinese guy, both are very very crampy..
The hotel was near to the central railway station and close to the main market and tourist points. On the ground floor is the bar restaurant where you can spent some time for a drink.
There was a restanurant bar on the ground floor with a reception on one side. Corridor and stair area was not so clean. There was no tower or soap in the bath room.
Great location and good facilities for the offered price. If you're ok with backpackers hostels - everything will be fine.
I only slept there and it was more than enough for me.
I liked the idea of a bar etc downstairs and staff were nice
We did not get the 8 person room we requested. We got 2 four persion rooms, one which had NO window, the other which looked out onto a wall and the room was terrible. The noise all night in the hotel was terrible also.320 for 8 people for one night in those conditions and having to check out at 10am was disgraceful, compared to the other hostels I havestayed in in Amsterdam.
the position of the hotel
lack of facilities
the location was central, but that's all.
the room was small and dirty. the bathroom was awfull and the whole building was in a very bad condition
it was very central
it was an old building and kind of run down. the rooms were not as shown in the site, the beds were like army beds and the price was too expensive for what it had to offer. it was also kind of dirty
helpful staff and price
