9.2 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous food, clean comfortable rooms with some character, a beautiful building surrounded by lovely views, and friendly staff.
Cons: Some of the furnishings were a little tired perhaps to the detriment of the beautiful rooms, on the other hand this helps retain character, in other places modern refurbishment tends to make everywhere the same and soulless, so mixed views on this one!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The five course vegetarian meal was fantastic, like eating an episode of "Masterchef" (one of the later ones when they know what they are doing)
Cons: The bath took ages to fill but I only mention this because you are asking. Nice and warm once it made it to a decent depth

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff welcoming. Food and breakfast excellent.
Cons: As a tea drinker the coffee machine in the room which you had to use for hot water made the tea taste of coffee. A small kettle would be better as I couldn’t drink mine.
7.5 Good
Pros: Good breaky. Very clean. Coffee machine and tea in room. Really nice outdoor area to sit out and have a drink.
Cons: Mattress was a bit too soft for my liking but that's personal preference.

Pros: We had a very pleasent stay at the Bourne Valley inn, it’s a very picturesque pub in a lovely part of Hampshire. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The accomodation was lovely and clean with great attention to detail. We had lunch, dinner and breakfast and the food was lovely. Would definitely recommend it.

Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location was good for us, staff and food excellent.
Cons: Coffee makers in room pretty useless.
7.9 Good
Pros: Breakfast good. all food excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. Had to change room as first room was impractical - no bed side tables, had to climb over husband to get into bed. Second room pleasant but with ridiculous oversize central light and lamps. No dressing table and no shelves to put anything on. Typical 'designer' bedroom - looks okay but has no practical use. Bathroom great but again no-where to even put your washbag.
Cons: No UHT milk in the room. Having to ask for milk is ridiculous in this day and age. If you don't like UHT then you could ask for fresh. Vast majority do not mind UHT. Stupid oversize lamps. So little space to put anything on. Only surface was adorned with a massive tray, massive anglepoise lamp???? and Coffee maker that is never cleaned through so if you want just hot water it comes out brown. I asked for a kettle. Stupid 'hessian bag with torch' on the back of the door. All these so called 'designer' extras that have little purpose like the huge heavy metal key on the key ring making it impossible to open the door! All people want is somewhere to put things like makeup, hairbrush etc.,
6.7 Good
Pros: Good bar
Cons: Room very small, had to hang my trousers on the floor
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: morning staff were great
Cons: bar staff were arrogant and wanted to get ride of us all as soon as possible even though we were resident and wanted to have a drink before turning in at 1030
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The bedroom was gorgeous, the bed was super comfortable, the bathroom had a lovely rain shower. The breakfast included was really very tasty and big! The staff were very accommodating and the pub itself was small, but decorated beautifully.
Cons: Parking out back was difficult as we were in a super car, so the hump at the entrance stopped us from being able to actually park at the back.

7.9 Good
Pros: The breakfast choice was fine although two items of cutlery on the table did not appear to have been washed properly and couldn't be used.
Cons: The receptionist was very pleasant although our entry card failed to work and on returning to reception had to wait a few minutes whilst a non work related conversation took place between receptionist and kitchen worker. There were no other persons present. I wasn't even acknowledged until the kitchen worker left the area. Not impressed. The room was somewhat cramped and the double bed side was hard up against a wall meaning a clamber across the bed. Everything was clean and the bed was comfortable.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location for our trip was excellent & the staff were very helpful & polite.
Cons: In the restaurant for Dinner it took 50 minutes to cook Scampi & chips + Sausages & mash. When the restaurant was virtually empty & one poor lad doing the bar & the restaurant !!!!!!!!!!!!!.

Pros: It was close to my family that i was visiting
6.0 Good
Pros: The friendly staff.
Cons: Bar/lounge not welcoming, limited food choices and a bit of a walk into town for more pub options.
5.7 Okay
Pros: It was the perfect location for us, returning from visiting family in London and broke the journey to Somerset. Staff were lovely and very attentive. Could not fault the staff at all.
Cons: We were very disappointed to be told on arrival at 6pm that the restaurant was closed. There was a big function on in the hotel which meant that we had a very small bar menu to choose from and had to sit in the bar at tables that were not comfortable to eat at. We had no heating in our room or bathroom due to the thermostat being turned down in the restaurant!! Luckily it wasn't cold when we woke up.
4.8 Okay
Pros: Staff are courteous and efficient
Cons: Hotel is in need of renovation. there is exposed pipework in rooms (hot water pipes)which present a health and safety issue.

Pros: The staff I met were friendly and smiled (not always the case!)
Cons: The room and geneal appearance of the hotel was somewhat tired and grubby

4.0 Okay
Pros: The location is good for my business requirement.
Cons: Had to wait to be served at the bar as the barman was taking meal orders and acting as the waiter.
2.8 Mediocre
Cons: Water not warm enough to shower. Faucet dripped all night. Tiny room. Tinier bathroom.
7.6 Good
Pros: nice and peaceful for what we wanted for the break we wanted and will stay there again

4.6 Okay
Pros: Staff and location. Paid similar price at travel lodge in past and that was spotless. Not what I expected for money paid
Cons: It was badly maintained and although toilets and sink etc spotless other parts of room were dusty and dirty
7.1 Good
Pros: The beds were comfy and the water and fan in the room were a nice gesture .
Cons: The bathroom needs updating as the shower head leaks and bathroom was not very well cleaned.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Very helpful friendly staff
Cons: Lots of stairs and need a good hoover in the crevices, Room very dated and a very sloping floor but I gues this must be part of the character of the building so not major, I would stay again.
5.4 Okay
Pros: The Bar man whom we had to wait to come Check us in, was very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Our room (25) has wallpaper pealed off the walls, crisps on the floor, no lamps so it was main light or nothing, the pull knob on bath to change water flow from bath tap to shower didnt work so I couldnt have a shower, this presumable explains the really stained grout and dirty bath as well, clearly it doesnt get cleaned and the cleaner hasnt heard of bleach.... All the walls were dirty and in need of a paint or even wash. The bar man was on his own so we had to wait 10mins for him to come serve us at the Checkin desk, we also asked for our room to be hoovered again which he said could happen at 6pm when another member of staff arrived.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff here have exceptionally customer service , they have done everything possible to make my stay effortless.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location and really helpful, friendly staff. Gluten Free menu available with no additional cost.
Cons: I couldn't stay longer.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing I would not have paid my bill by choice
Cons: The hotel was dirty. The room was bad, the hot water tap in room did not work. The shower when on made a terrible noise from the water pump. The food was not good, we ordered a starter and our main course came with it when told to wait on our main course it was obviously taken back and put in an oven unfortunately one meal had a salad not good in oven. No toiletries only soap in a pump. Odd cups in room with no spoons, next day came breakfast not good at all. This is a no go hotel and booking . Com should remove it from their site.
2.5 Mediocre

Cons: Everything

7.1 Good
