A representative never showed up at the airport to meet me, they never tried to contact me to say there was an issue, and the phone number given never worked. I called 24 times throughout the day. I ended up renting from Europcar at the counter for three times the price. I think it's a SCAM. I was in Vienna.

I couldn’t find the location and no shuttle to the location of the car. The website description makes it seem as though it’s the airport area. It is not. Tried to call the facility but no answer. Ended up getting a rental from hertz which provides transportation to car rental area. DONT PURCHASE FROM THIS VENDER.

We had to call from the airport twice to get a pickup to the rental location which was 10 minute ride . Once there we found out that they did not recognize our insurance and I had to pay $260 for insurance . This now made my rental car more expensive than what was at the airports . Drop off went smooth , but we were dropped off at the rental location other than airport drop off for the airport .

Very bad. We paid by card $14 for two days, but when we went to get the car they ask us to pay 7 times this price plus $150 as a deposit. Why not to tell us the truth from the beginning, so we know the exact price. I am asking for paying me back the $14.

They didn’t have a car reserved for me on arrival, and tried to charge a walk up rate. In the end, I lost the prepaid portion of my rental, sat in the coffee shop opposite and booked online with Avis (for cheaper than what they wanted to charge me). Really disappointed.

They had way too many hidden charges that more than doubled the cost of rental. First, my car wasn't available, so I had to pay extra to upgrade. The gas tank was at 7/8 when I picked up the car, and when I returned at the same level, they charged 60 euro to refill 1/8 of tank. There's also a 36 euro charge on my credit card that I never got a receipt for. I will not rent from them again

I paid double charge on arrival on top of the Rwandan price shown on the list when I am booking. Extra charged have been asked for full casco which you pay theft and accident coverage. The rent was for 29 euro per day. Additional mentioned was 33 euro per day. Total unexpected and expensive service in the end. Probably I will not hire from sixt again and read extra carefully what are the terms and conditions.

Cons:

The car was dirty and different (smaller and not deisel) to the one ordered when we collected it. We eventually managed to get it changed to a bigger one (also not clean). The car was damaged before picking it up and they are now trying to charge us for the damage. Do not use this company.

Sixt didnt tell us that they dont have an offline office at the airport but they also did not contact us when will our plane arrive etc so I had to remind and contact them when I realized it then waited for them.

Cons:

We didn’t know we needed to call to get car delivered to airport in Antalya, Turkey, for “meet & greet”, so that caused some confusion. Drop-off at airport was easy and fast.

Pros:

The booking was BMW 3 series at carrental.com but at Avis they said it is smaller and had to pay three tomes to get larger car.

Cons:

Establishing a quick contact via Email instead of your contact number via phone which is expensive.

There was not an office at the airport. The website was misleading and said there was. The car was DIRTY upon pickup. There was a burned cigarette in the back seat. The attendant told me they did not have time to clean the car. Drop off was TORTURE. There was not anyone at the airport to receive the car. We called Ismail many times and he wouldn’t answer and when he did he was extremely rude and disrespectful. He REFUSED to come and get the car from us! He told us to leave the keys in the car and leave. I was not able to get a receipt or final walk through. I felt like he was scamming me to get the insurance money. I alerted the police at the airport.
