Upon reading Google reviews of the Avis in my area I canceled my reservation and called Enterprise directly. They were a little more expensive but they had the car ready and there was no nonsense. I will know in the future book direct from them and not risk not having a vehicle ready and waiting hours arguing with employees who shouldn’t be employed but can’t be fired because there is no one to replace them who wants to take a job with horrible payReviewed 23 Mar 2026

I tried to cancel my reservation less than 24 hour's after booking and I was told I booked a non refundable car. They have very strict policies and would not refund me for the car. I had to pay for it, even though I couldn't go on my trip. So disappointing, I cried. Renters beware!!!Reviewed 22 Mar 2026

I needed to extend the car rental for a day. Neither Avis nor Kayak would allow me to do this. Kayak said I needed to talk to Avis and Avis said to talk to Kayak. I will not be using kayak anymore. Sent up to garage with wrong car parked in the spot assigned to. Told to get in line all over again. Then told they didn't have the car we paid for and reserved. Billing was WRONG on Kayak part, initially with notation of 7 million on the bill that took forever to troubleshoot. Will never rent with kayak againReviewed 21 Mar 2026
