It was easy, comfortable, we had our privacy, good breakfast and the view was amazing No.
Location was good Finding it was difficult as we were looking for the name Thalazur, whereas the hotel is just called Ile Rousse. The private beach is very cramped. Bathroom was poor - shower did not even have a screen. Breakfast not value for money
location, near the beach and the town center, and the quality of food in the restaurant+ service in beach restaurant and reception for a **** Hotel the infrastructure could be refitted, lift permanently out of order,
Clean, professional staff, great location with great views from the rear. A little expensive
I liked the modern design, the location, and the luxurious bedrooms..
excellent location, private beach, delicious breakfast on the terrace with a see view, friendly and helpful staff air-conditioning blowing right at your face when sleeping :/
The location was a little bit out of Toulon , But a lovely taxi boat ride accross the bay to toulon old town port. A bus journey was avilable. But a taxi could be expensive. A little bit out of Toulon Town, Taxi's a bit expensive
very clean (brand new), right on the water, marina and bay, also beside a park, walking distance to some small cafe's. Nice rooms, innovative sliding blinds on the balconies breakfast option very expensive, did not use it.
Staff very helpful and polite. Hotel modern and clean. Rooms, Parking, Pool and 24hr service excellent. No
The whole experience was a plesure.
Very good price value relation !
The beds were perfect, the pool was a real plus, the perfect stopover for us for our holidaydestination. The noise of the music at the harbourside
Great location, ferry to Toulon, staff very helpful
Motivated, attentive staff and management. New facility, location right in the middle of the port. Nice views all around. Plenty of parking. Nice, big rooms, nice views of the port. elevator programming is very slow (door delay, start/stop), and it sounds like it needs lubrication badly (even though brand new). The door out to the terrace from the restaurant is heavy and difficult to open while carrying the buffet. The room fills with construction dust, but this should clear out after a couple of weeks. The parking gates swing open inward so there is the risk of a jamup if you're too far forward leaving the lot and someone is right behind you.
Very courtious staff, made to feel welcome, our third visit and recommend this hotel, will return for sure no problems at all
Lovely room with good bathroom and private balcony.Beautiful view over the harbour and beyond.Nice to have tea-making facilities, with china mugs..all very clean..Didn't have breakfast but noticed tables outside near pool which looked sunny and welcoming. Good pool but would be too small if many guests wanting to use at same time.Location central and useful to walk to selection of restaurants and cafes.Free parking in hotel carpark very welcome. Confusion on paying the bill at checking -out Problem was that the staff were speaking English and therefore not clear to understand the amount which was different due to the city tax
good location, just off beach and close to restaurants on a small point the decor is a bit dated but still a good hotel
Normal to stay for 1 night! Bathroom is terribly bad!
Service - particularly the generous gesture of the Manager presenting us with a gift case of three bottles of wine at the end of our stay there as consolation for my husband having food poisoning from eating something at a restaurant outside Bandol. Sadly being on top of bars/restaurants cooking smells some times permeated the hotel.
Nice and clean room. Good location. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Not the place for a one week seaside vacance. Air conditioning was very weak.
Close to everything, buses, port, shopping. found the pillows very uncomfortable, one not enough and two are too high....
Location was excellent for our trip - only 5 mins walk to Stade Mayol to watch the rugby, and about the same to the harbour with its many restaurants. Rooms were spacious and very clean and tidy. Also represented good value for money. One member of staff on reception wasn't very welcoming when we arrived and seemed disinterested in checking us in.
Difficult to find. No correct signs from the parking to the hotel entrance.
Breakfast with great coffee espresso and croissants, good decoration, large room. Difficult to find, although we had a navigator system (GPS) with us. When we finally found it, I told it to the girl at the reception and her behaviour was not kind at all.Paying parking, not so good region of the hotel.
Excellent location close to the marina and shopping, clean and comfortable bed, and good breakfast. I've stayed at close to 10 All Seasons and this one was the most in need of refurbishment with very outdated rooms (carpet, furniture, and fixtures).
Nice&friendly staff either at reception or in restaurant Breakfast is poor, one type of cheese,no eggs, charcuteries was only ham! Internet outlet at reception vvlimited only 1screen&10min.time!!!
Great location in the heart of the city. Located directly above the main shopping mall in Toulon, very convenient access for Carrefor grocery store, sports and electronics shopping. Nice to have WIFI, secure parking. Friendly and helpful staff.
No major complaints really The breakfast was a bit shy, even if we did have it quite late in the morning
nice room and good breakfast, conveniant location stuff - poor English. Despite I had reservation seems they didn't record it...now, with my poor knowledge of French and mentioned their poor knowledge of English you can imagine how it was. Luckily, I had my laptop with the confirmation.
Close to the centre, next to rugby ground as that was purpose of trip. Good size room, nice bathroom, close to front where plenty of restaurants and bars only a few minutes from markets and shops. Not easy to find as signs not at every junction or not easy to see. Breakfast a little basic. Bar service a little slow and ran out of drink. Probably did not expect so many people after the rugby.
The location is delightful and this is why we visited the Hotel again. This lovely chic Hotel is looking a bit tired. There are too many different themes of decoration when there should be one throughout. The corridors need re-decorating - at the moment they are like being in an institution - creams and whites with a reflecting paint would be perfect with a modern lighting system and ornate mirrors with heavy ornate painted wooden frames and foliage murals highlighted with spotlights - to create the chic ambience of style and luxury in these important internal areas. We were in Room 114 which was delightful once we were inside. This was a sexy, romantic chic Hotel when I visited her several years ago - it wouldn't take a lot of expenditure to restore her style once more. Our friends were disappointed too
The staff was charming, knowledgeable and helpful. The view was wonderful and the pool area was lovely. This hotel has seen better days. The rooms are spartan and the entire place needs a paint job. All the woodwork is scratched and dinged. For a "luxury" hotel it's short on amenities--no newspaper at your door, no individual soaps, shampoo, moisturizer, shower cap, etc. The fitness center had a few elipticals and exercyles. It was in a (stained and worn) carpeted area off the indoor pool. The heat and humidity from the pool and hot tub made the room unusable. The tennis courts were neglected. A medium grade Best Western is a better value.
Lovely bright spacious room.Staff very courteous and helpfull. No english language television bar CNN.Hotel advertised as having satelite tv.
The room and friendly atmosphere A very expensive breakfast
Great location, good facilities (eg golf course) Decoration, fittings and furnishings felt a bit tired - ready for a make-over. Couldn't make air-conditioning work (could have been my ineptitude and for a one-night stopover couldn't be bothered to take it up with hotel staff!)
Location The hotel is "stuck in the middle". Quality of rooms and hotel facilities is mediocre at best. Prices (high) are not justified for what you get. Staff is not polite. You do not feel welcome as a family and you will not get the quality you pay for as a business/solo traveller.
By far and away the best thing about this hotel was its location and view Service was highly variable, the wi-fi did not work in our room as it was too far from the router but staff would not admit it or send someone to sort it out. Food at restaurant was way over-priced and only one restaurant open in peak season despite advertising two.
the location, sauna & pool
Its a hotel that I would like always to come back for. Restaurants are good but expensive.
The peasceful relaxed atmosphere of the hotel and setting.Very helpful staff. Spacious rooms with dressing gowns and slippers included. Difficulty in finding a parking space, if the golfers hadn't left before we came back late afternoon.
The location was fantastic - very central and on a semi-pedestrianised area. There was an excellent restaurant just around the corner (Les Artistes). The room was double glazed and air conditioned. The beds were comfortable, if rather narrow. The breakfast was reasonable for Euros 8, but facilities for boiling eggs would have made it better, and a top up of the ham/cheese platter without being asked! Staff were friendly and informative, providing maps and details of public transport, markets, beaches, etc. There were no drawers, just a few hangers in the wardrobe. The bathroom was modern, but there was no soap dish in the shower, and the shower head did not have a hook, so you had to hold it whilst showering.
the proximity to the marina;the location in pedestrianised area of bustling cafe restaurant quarter. Absolutely nothing (but the lift was unreliable on 2nd thoughts!)
the location i was very disappointed. i had stayed there 4 weeks before. this time the room was quite dreadful. the shower hardly worked and i had to hold it in my hand since there was nowhere to hang it on the wall. there was no mini bar either - contrary to what was announced. a major disappointment ... but thx god the hotel gad not moved. so the location was as great as before ... to choose this hotel is a bit risky since the rooms are very different from one another
only one small lift for whole hotel even though stayed on first floor was not allowed to use the stairs because you had to go through the breakfast room had to wait 10 mins to get out several times.
The hotel is very well situated, in the heart of old Toulon, with good cafes, a market, shops close by and it is also very near to the water front. Parking available. Nothing. It was great. I would strongly recommend it.
excellent location in city centre. Quiet room, free wifi. The breakfast was too expensive.
Wonderful, helpful,friendly,polite receptionist.
Very helpful and friendly reception staff. Excellent location. Rooms good size, facilities good and very clean. Good bathroom. Breakfast average and had to request coffee/food to be replenished several times. Noise from adjacent rooms very audible.
Convenient location in a very nice town. There was a very musty smell in the room that we couldn't get rid of.The walls were very thin.
The stairs to the upper floors are a death trap and the lights didn't work properly. It is a miracle that someone did not break their neck.
Excellent location. Quiet yet near train station. Small room but entirely adequate. Good spot for a night or two. OK breakfast. Downstairs toilet a bit primitive but served its purpose.
The owners were fantastic and really went out of their way to help us. The sea view room we were in was not really laid out so that you could enjoy the view without standing in a certain part of the room. Also, the hotel is a little further from the village centre and beaches than I would have liked (but still within a couple of minutes walking). That said, being up the hill the hotel gets good breezes which would be great in summer.
Close to town Petit breakfast was petit. Onl bread, butter and jam, coffe and tea.No ham, no cheese for 8 euro. I dont believe I saw the sea
very nice people good location
It was very friendly and intimate. The owners were very attentive and considerate to their guests.
Very clean, friendly staff, good location, good value, walking distance to the beach and the rest of the town. Cute dog. Staff don't speak any english at all.
Small, cosy hotel, easy to find thanks to good signs, friendly staff. Not far from city center.
Well located, friendly staff, clean. Excellent value for money. A bit difficult to find due to the one-way streets. Nothing else.
Friendly, comfortable and very clean - in a lovely location.
Very nice hotel, lovely decorated room with a modern barhroom (room 3 @ Rez-de-chaussée). Enough space for a baby cot. Close to the town center and the beach. Shower floor above the rest of the bathroom floor. Obviously the bathroom wet after 1 minute of showering.
Check-in consisted of me announcing who I was and us being taken to the room. No passport check; no credit card swipe; no signing anything. Fastest I've ever checked-in to any hotel ever! Room was small but perfectly clean and adequate for what we wanted. Hotel is 5 minutes walk from the centre of town and the beaches, although you get fit walking up the steep hill to the hotel. Friendly staff. 5 minutes walk from railway station. Nothing. Brilliant holiday.
easy to access everywhere silent and kindly
spacious room, nice change to have bath as well as shower
Is a few minutes walk from the railway station and about 10 minutes from the marina and waterfront area. Staff took extra care to meet my needs, without being asked. Nice haven in the city centre
Staff very helpful, friendly and seemed happy. I liked the rooms, very, very clean, lovely bathroom with SEPERATE toilet. Lift is very small but that disn't make much difference to us. I enjoyed my stay there. The location was fine too.
Staff especially good and very helpful. Great personal attention, much better than many larger hotels. A bit noisy and the carpets in the room were in need of cleaning.
I liked the friendly female receptionist. I did not like the stained carpet, the location was terrible considering my family stayed on the waterfront in a nicer room for the same money.
the room was wide, clean, with a big bathroom no freezer, and the big drawback is the nose!!!!the hotel is beside a big boulevard and even the double window could not cut the cars nose! so we slept very bad...
Nicely located and eqipped with necessary facilities Staff cordiality and location
helpful staff, clean room, nice view, very good location, close to transport links and city centre, easy to get to places from no fridge, no tea-coffee facilities. Especially dissapointed absence of a fridge.
Service-minded front desk staff and generous check-out hours.
Almost nothing The airconditioning did not work and the hotel was on a busy road making my stay terrible. I would not return ever and was very disappointed.
Located reasonably (10 min in taxi) from train station. Bit of a walk to main tourist precints.
breakfast on the 1st morning, we arrived at 9.30am and most of the cooked was gone and we waited til 10 but no other food arrived, didnt bother again,
it was just a night as a sleep over to travel further to Nice ... i would say its not 4 stars , more like 3 stars
The facility to delay check-out to a more convenient time for our departure. The hotel was very quiet. The first room we were allocated overlooked the swimming pool. The window was screwed shut and the air conditioning didn't work. The bathroom was dirty and the whole room stank of cigarettes, despite being a non-smoking room. It was uninhabitable. The second room was clean, but the air conditioning was also broken. It was 24 degrees outside and, therefore, rather hotter inside. The window only opened a crack. That room was not usable either. After further discussions with the receptionist, we were moved to a third room with functioning air conditioning and opening windows. In addition to this, the four star rating of the hotel is rather inflated. I have stayed in better three star hotels in France and Italy.
As a member of Priority Club 114 408 630 I was not too happy about the service and attitude.I was very pleased that my wife did not accompany me on this trip as she would have been unimpressed. See above....I will probably not use Holiday Inn in the future during my frequent travels unless you can compensate me in some way.
Good location. Comfortable room. Good sized Bathroom.
Friendly, clean Very very very very bad food
Staff very helpfull No
Very good location for what we needed. The hotel is just 5 min walk from the train station (if you turn on the right street). Big room with a nice size bathroom. Also, we got a great discount price on booking.com, compared to the regular price at the hotel. The hotel needs to be renovated. A bit outdated for a 4 star hotel.
location parking/garage facilities for motor bikes insufficient, unsafe.
Location by the sea Parking nightmare. The hotel has 4 very samll parking places for 28 rooms.
Out of the oppressive central area and with oblique sea views. Unusually adequate bed for a South of France hotel. Excellent restaurant 200 metres to the east.
Excellent location, a few minutes stroll from the Mourillon beaches and walks. Dreadful sound insulation - could hear every creak from neighbouring rooms.
way the rooms are furnished / decorated, breakfast quality, friendly personel, location etc ...
Convenience -We were there to begin a cruise the next day.
The sea view from the room, the excellent restaurant, the secure parking, the free internet access. No. But the website did not mention that the restaurant was closed on Sunday.
Terrace overlooking sea. Very clean - staff try to be helpful. Reception staff did not have town map. Had no info on tourist facilities or attractions. This was the only hotel in 14 nights with this kind of experience: we put it down to Toulon not being a tourist town and the poor training of the weekend receptionist. Breakfast overpriced so we ate ealsewhere.
Location was ideal, 20 minutes walk to city (rugby stadium) and close to beaches and coastal walks. Excellent restaurants nearby.
A spectacular hotel. If you choose the view rooms you will not be disappointed.
Close to Railway Station Beds. Like sleeping on a piece of wood. One of reception staff not very friendly, but to be fair the more experienced member was very helpful.
- quiet room - great bed - great services
It was a ideal location for the markets and a bus service to the beach we walked most of the times The price
Convenient location, effecient reception
convenient location for train station no
immediate on the opposite of the trainstation No nonsoking rooms available> one room was very smelly, I got another room an that was somewhat better So ring the hotel if you booked a room an make sure you get a non-smoking/non smelly room!!
I liked the fact that it was directly opposite Toulon Station and only a very short walk to the centre of the town with its up-market shops and attractive harbour. The friendly staff are particularly helpful - opening-up the breakfast restaurant earlier in order to let us check-out sooner to catch a train.
Location right across from the train station and short walk to quayside. The staff were friendly. The rooms were basic but comfortable. The bathroom was clean.
Rooms were basic but clean. Communal areas were not as good with stains and marks on many of the carpets.
the whole hotel was exactly what i wanted.
