Pros: Great location , 2 mins walk from plaza de Catalunya. Stuff was extremely helpful. Due to corona virus they allowed us to stay longer in room without additional charges. General Manager welcomes us and give us comfort that all will be fine. This is what a great leader and manager does. Thank you. We spend 2 days in the hotel and everybody try to make us as much as possible comfortable.

Pros: This is a beautiful boutique hotel in a perfect location to explore much of the heart of Barcelona on foot. Fantastic, super helpful staff and fun atmosphere from the downstairs lounge and outdoor garden to the rooftop terrace. I loved all the unique artwork throughout the hotel.! The rooms were lovely and mine had a small terrace. Can't wait for an excuse to go back!

The rooftop terrace although at the moment only open at weekends until dusk had a great chilled atmosphere. Would definitely stay there again. Rooms where adequate in size, clean and great decor. There is noise from the street into the early hours but this is to be expected in a city hotel in a prime central location.

The rooms were lovely and mine had a small terrace. Can't wait for an excuse to go back!
Cons: I can't think of a thing I did not like. Lots of comfortable space to work on my laptop throughout the hotel, and no matter what the hour the staff were gracious about never rushing me out of the space.

Cons: If you plan to sleep in at all, don't. It is loud so bring your ear plugs and white noise machine. The housekeeping staff were the worst noise offenders. I had to ask them politely to keep it down early one morning.

They helped me organize my moms birthday and themselves they congratulated her several times. When I got uncomfortable in my room I got a new one with upgrade. Cons: The decor was a bit weird. The bathtub/shower sill was far too high and was dangerous (we were traveling with an architect and we are convinced that this height does not meet code). In addition, the gym was very poor. They only had a few machines and 2 of them were broken.

Pros: Standard Room is spacious and clean. Location is very convenient for arrivals at El Prat Airport, but also for visiting the city as it is well connected to everything by metro, and also walking distance from the heart of the city. The neighborhood around is very authentic and filled with interesting bars, restaurants, and clubs.

Pros: Staff was very pleasant. Our room wasn’t ready when we checked in so we chose to upgrade to a bigger room. The room, however, reeked of smoke so we went back and complained. They immediately changed us to another room.
The hotel is in a great location, near restaurants and shopping centers. Public transportation is a block away. Breakfast is excellent. There is a rooftop pool and bar with a great view.

Pros: Staff was very pleasant. Our room wasn’t ready when we checked in so we chose to upgrade to a bigger room. The room, however, reeked of smoke so we went back and complained. They immediately changed us to another room.
The hotel is in a great location, near restaurants and shopping centers. Public transportation is a block away. Breakfast is excellent. There is a rooftop pool and bar with a great view.
Cons: The bathroom lacks racks and hookscto hang wet towels and clothes. TV has limited English channels. Limited electric outlet for US plugs so bring adapters.

Cons: See through shower walls, so no privacy when sharing a room. Also, the Sky bar (the only bar in the hotel) was closed the whole time, except Tuesday afternoon. The pool hours could have been longer also.

Cons: The beds were super bouncy. Every time me or my husband made even the slightest move in bed, the entire bed shook and bounced. In addition, the shower floor is extremely slippery (dangerous). It was designed for "special stays (e.g. you can see the person naked in the shower from almost anywhere you stand in the room"... which I'm not a fan of but it not the reason for a lower score, however important practical aspect (sleeping and shower floor, etc) were not thought out well.

Cons: The standard rooms are quite small, just big enough for a bed and two bedside tables. However, they are sufficient comfortable for sleeping. My biggest complaint is the noise from the hallway. The walls are paper thin! You will hear everything in the hall, from someone walking by with flip flops to the late night party goers returning. Therefore, expect to have your sleep interrupted throughout the night.

We paid more than $100 a night plus tax and fee but unfortunate not include breakfast... That's kinda disappointing but well.. Maybe something you can check with the hotel when u make a booking.

Pros: An all around great hotel . As soon as you get there, will see that it is a nice building from the outside... probably the tallest hotel in that area which allows you to have good views when you go to the top floor. I was greeted by the friendly and professional staff, that checked us in quickly.
The hotel is located conveniently by the metro which was great to get anywhere in Barcelona.
The staff was helpful and answered any questions we had. They assisted us on how to take the metro with the most simple route possible.
The wi fi was solid too, great connection and quick. I would definitely return next time!

Cons: The hotel should have an indication that it is a family hotel, there are quite a few children in the hotel lobby, at breakfast, and in the corridors, always running around and making some noise. The elevators leave us on hold sometimes 8/9 minutes because when it opens it is full and we have to wait again. The employees are not the friendliest.

Cons: Hello my reservation was from 14.03.2020-18.03.2020. Im from Germany , i didnt flight in Barselona because of world situation with Coronavirus. I was calling in the hotel from 12.03.2020 and was asking if i can change for different dates. I can schow how many times i was calling and speaking with them. All workers in the hotel told me that its possible to change , they asked me from what country Im and then told me that i need to write them letter . I got two different e-mail adresses it was h5560-re@gmail.com also I was writing in h5560@gmail.com. After i wrote them i was calling in the hotel to ask if they got my letters. All people in hotel told me that they have not possibility open e-mail. Then i was talking with one guy from reception his name is Oscar. Oscar told me that my reservation not possible to manage because i already paid but he need to ask manager in the hotel. Oscar asked manager and he told that they will change my booking dates. Last time i called them 16.03 and i asked why i didnt get any answer. Woman from reservation departament first told me that sche will check if im not in the hotel to change my booking dates and then she told that they cannt do anything. Its first time in my life that i see so TERRIBLE stuff in hotel. Maybe if they told me from the very beginning that they will not change booking dates i would not call them 100 times. Today i got letter that hotel is not able to rebook dates that all quastion we need to give in booking. com. They lie because booking.com sent letters in all hotels with request to back money or rebook reservation for all people that booked hotels till 30.04.2020. Anyway i can say that i booked through booking trips in March and they changed dates of reservation WITHOUT problem only Novotel Barselona dont want change dates ! Terrible service!!!!

Cons: Very nice location for this hotel but are few things that have to be improved:-when you step in to the room is not a fresh air and the cleaning maintenance is low, -the bed line doesn’t have a nice fresh smell and the mattress is not very comfortable, the bed move all around. in a room that you have 2 guests you are supposed to have 2 toothbrushes, the shower gel and shampoo they are all in one bottle and is not a quality one. About breakfast it’s just ok are not so many options, if you looking to have fried eggs or an omelette that is not possible, I was expecting the orange juice to be more tasty but is not.

Pros: Situated a very short walk from La Rambla, this hotel is so perfectly located but remains quiet. Any worries about the location we had were quickly eradicated as long as you are aware of the risk of pickpockets as you would be in the main touristy areas. Pickpockets are prevalent but we were not targeted as we were aware and didn’t make ourselves easy targets. A simple carabiner attached to the zip on my crossbody bag, worn under my jacket kept my possessions safe. The hotel is well equipped and comfortable. We stayed in a superior room and couldn’t believe the size of the bed! It was huge, as was our room. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The staff were really helpful, especially when we wanted to purchase tickets to a Europa cup game at Espanyol - we paid a bit of commission but were happy with the price. Really enjoyed our stay - thank you.

Pros: Location was #1 for this hotel is right by the Sants train station which had a train straight into the airport, and just a two minute walk to the metro station which is a quick ride to the heart of town and port if your're going on a cruise.
The employees were helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and simple but had everything you could need during a hotel stay. We stayed 2 different nights and the balcony views of the city was excellent.
The roof top bar serves an amazing sangria amongst other things but that was our favorite. The breakfast buffet was perfect and the coffee was beyond anything I could expect. We would stay here again!

Cons: after arriving at the hotel at 12.45am after having 3 flights and a very long day we were told that they didn't have a double room, only 2 single beds. After a minute the guy changed his mind and told us he had found one. The room was 976 room the top floor, furthest away from the lift. we went into the room and got ready for bed as we were only staying 1 night as had an early train journey in the morning. The bathroom had cracked floor tiles and the bath was disgusting and yellow with the white plastic of the bath blistering and peeling off looking. The floor was dirty and under the bed were alot of crumbs. There were clean towels so the room was prepared for using. The shower curtain was really stained and yellowing at bottom. there was rust marks around the overflow in the bath. There was chipped paint around the door as well as hand and dirty fingerprints on the doors. In the morning I spoke to the assistant manager about this room. He just said that I should have said last night to have changed room. I told him that they didn't have anything else according the receptionist the night before. He wouldn't refund any money to us which we paid 93 euros for and it didn't look like anything that the photo of the room which I had booked weeks before. I do not recommend this hotel at all.

Cons: The WIFI was very weak. Shower in bathroom was OK, but with no door or curtain, was a bit weird. And we would have liked some way to charge our phones like a USB port. TV was Ok, but very limited stations. That also was OK since we weren't in the room that much.

Pros: Great location and good breakfast. Arrived early and was able to put my luggage in a store room. Very close to the lanes and main square.
Cons: Nothing that I didn't like. Only downside was the noise from La Rambla at night if you have a street facing room. However, the view from the window is great, so it is a trade-off.
