Many problems actually, Billing issue at the end, charged 17 dollars for gas. Car was 3/4 full when I got it and full at dropoff. Tire pressure noticefor all 4 tires came on 10 hours after I picked the car up and a few hours later the low oil light came on. Also there was a low intermittant rumble from the front left wheel. 2nd time waiting in a 45-60min line for counter while all other rental companies had no lines. Once at the counter, I was told to wait an additional 30-45min because the car wasn’t ready or clean yet. Then I got the car and it was the wrong vehicle (Toyota Corolla instead of mid size SUV). I was already late for a reservation so I just took what they gave me. Been a long time and loyal member of budget but after my recent two experiences, I’m avoiding Budget/Avis at all costs.Reviewed 14 Mar 2026

Booked a car through kayak. Upon arrival, budget did not have any vehicles available. Booked another vehicle through budget customer service line at a different location. Again upon arrival, the new location did not have a vehicle available. Budget has poor active inventory tracking.Reviewed 12 Mar 2026

The rental was okay the key fob was broken and it was hard to start. When I returned it a day early I dropped the key in the box however, I discovered that my son had left a tote in the back of the car and they dont check the cars so It is now missing with a bunch of tools at a $600 value we tried to talk to the girl at the counter and she was very uncooperative and now he has not been able to get ahold of anyone at the budget counter. We have no idea who has his tote that left with the rental vehicle.Reviewed 12 Mar 2026
