Nice hotel in central lcation
On arrival I asked to pay but the receptionist said I had already paid - deducted from my credit card. When I left I was told I had not paid. No explanation - just pay the bill. I explained but they took the stance that it was my fault. Actually it is their fault - they need to train their staff better, communicate better and not be so abrupt.
good breakfast, luckily the two male receptionists are really good and try to help as much as the “vintage” hotel allows them, good location
very very old, you can hear other guests in their rooms, not enough lights in room, air conditioning really old and falling apart, tv remote not working, shower non regulable, basically needs to be renovated
Good location. Good internet. Breakfast decent.
Shower water too hot (despite cool water in sink). Some confusion on billing, had asked for breakfast deal (in writing on check in sheet), but apparently not billed for same, when same noted the following day, they wanted to bill us a significantly higher rate. Was able to clear up, but only after significant discussion / being adamant.
Good location for downtown, the Aeroparque and cruise terminal. Area feels safe with lots of restaurants nearby. The entrance is pleasant and rooms are decent size, but the place feels tired with carpets in need of replacement and furniture getting shabby. Still for the price, it was fine. Our room was clean. Breakfast is extra and of reasonable quality with a couple of hot options.
Comfortable beds and big room
Very bad WiFi. A rather dangerous location for walking around at night. They charged me the booking at the check in, while I expected it to be charged to my card weeks before my arrival. The breakfast was supposed to be included in the reservation price, but during the check in I was told that I had to pay an additional fee for it.
Located in El Centro, this hotel is within a 5-minute walk of Lavalle Street and Florida Street. Teatro Colon and Obelisco are also within 10 minutes. Lavalle Station is only a 2-minute walk and C. Pellegrini Station is 7 minutes.
