The phones in the room didn’t have directions on how to contact the front desk. Rooms were only cleaned when requested, which would have been fine if they had informed us ahead of time of the policy. But they didn’t. And then when I asked for more towels, they wanted me to go get them and then seemed a little out out that I requested they be brought up while we were out (we were on the way out of ...

Poor breakfast selection if you have dietary restrictions. And $25 check in fee before 3pm. Other than that, great hotel and very safe.

Cons (-) Breakfast was poor and there is a bit of noise coming through into the room from the strewn and the near by fire station.

Pros (+) great location with very reasonable price. steps away from the grand cta station, easy walk to magnificent mile and the river. very nice roomy and light rooms. an on site restaurant with room service... totally unexpected.
Cons (-) nothing... not a thing. I guess the pool could be a bit longer, like for lap swimmers.

Pros (+) Everything about the stay was great. The room was clean, the hotel's location is convenient and there's a train station a couple of blocks away.
Cons (-) The complementary breakfast was a no for me. The scrambled eggs were just so awful. The fruit salad was okay but the quality of breakfast really needs some work.
