Upon getting vehicle. Upon starting vehicle, it flashed a message that back tire treading low, needs Maintenace or checked. I asked the gentleman working about it at the exit. He said don't worry about it. 'You should be OK' didn't sound promising. So, I asked the supervisor on duty, he said let's switch your vehicle out. Then, upon turning in the vehicle, the scan person was out to lunch, although 3 able bodies sitting and or standing there said just leave the key in the car and when she gets back from lunch, we will make sure to let her know to scan your vehicle back and email you a receipt. Been over 14 hours since that occurred still no receipt. Concerning that 3 employees can sit and aren't crossed train to scan a vehicle in. Doesn't make sense to me. This is a very sad situation at CVG airport.

Budget at CVG airport run out of stock and had no cars to honor my reservation. Giving the need for my family and the time of the day, I decided to accept a Tesla Y. I assumed the car came with an EV charger cable that could be used at home (I was staying at my In-laws). Next day, I checked and the car did not have any charging cable. I had to run to Tesla charging stations often because the car’s battery lost charge quickly and also took a lot of time charging. When I called customer service, the person indicated I had to go to the location I picked the car to get the charging cable. I was working remotely so my wife drove the car she borrowed from her parents all the way to the airport only to learn that Budget does not include the charging cables. She was told that a discount of two or three days could be coordinated with the manager upon return. The manager only provided a meaningless discount. In addition, the car had a problem with the trunk, which did not close automatically. The car was also dirty when I picked it up from the CVG airport. Our experience with Budget was terrible.

Every person that I encountered was incredibly polite, efficient and competent . My flight arrived one hour before the Alamo/Enterprise desk opened. I would have loved the ability to pick up my car through a kiosk or something else to avoid a one hour wait for the desk to open.

Of course I think it was too expensive. The previous inconsiderate renter had smoked a cigar. Thrifty did a good job of scrubbing it, but it could be smelled when sitting in sun and cab was hot. All employees were nice and helpful. I wouldn't hesitate renting from Thrifty again.

I was overcharged. They charged me for insurance that I had previously declined via Kayak. They are paperless so I didn't realize the over charge until I saw the email with the bill after I had driven off the lot. I called customer service immediately and was told they couldn't resolve issues on an ongoing rental and to call after I had returned the car. It took multiple calls to resolve.

Pickup and return of the rental car to the CVG Cincinnati airport was superb. Returning a car quickly is so important with the pressure of getting it done before the flight time. The staff I worked with at CVG was excellent both in picking up the car and returning it.

Arrived at the pickup counter to find a long line (probably around a hundred people). Stood in line for around an hour. No one from Payless ever apologized or provided any explanation for the wait during or after. Will not use Payless again.
